Stayed here for 4 nights. Service was on top and the crews were very friendly. Super lami ilang foods. They're known for their live seafoods, mamili ka lang ng ipapaluto mo. Highly recommended ang Skylight Hotel.

An old 2-star hotel in the middle of the city with an open-air seafood restaurant adjacent to its lobby. It is a 7-minute drive from the airport, disregarding traffic. The spacious rooms are very dated and the furnitures inside them are aged. So much in need of a refurbishment. But the mattresses of the beds and the linens, towels and pillows all seem to be new. Hot and cold shower is available. There are no elevators, thus one has to use stairs to their second-floor and third-floor rooms. The inclusive buffet breakfast is local fare and there is an acceptable number of varieties to choose from. The ballroom cum convention center of Skylight is located a kilometer away and there are shuttle vans provided by the hotel to and from the venue. It is quite an inconvenience if you need to go back to your hotel room because some arrangements will have to be made for the shuttle van to pick-up and transport guests. There was a time that I can no longer wait so I had to hail down a trike to bring me back to the hotel. Being a 2-star, this hotel is inexpensive and may be considered a bang for your buck, with the buffet breakfast tucked into its room rate.

Unsecured. Do not come here solo, there are reports of people knocking on windows on the rooms of girls booked in the hotel alone. There are no cameras outside the area where a man wearing a white shirt knocking on the window was seen. Girls please be careful. Pathways to rooms have no cameras, back areas have no cameras or lights, there is no way to the back of the place where the man was seen other than through the office where they operate in. Plus there is a small window where a man can fit on the bathroom, it's covered with a small curtain, the window is full screen and can be opened by pushing it lightly. Watch out.

This post is for awareness lalo na sa mga solo traveller and girls. 2 am na and can't sleep dahil sa incident na nangyari ngayon at sa takot. After I ate dinner, bumalik agad ako sa room para magpahinga and makaligo. After ko maligo, I heard someone knocking. Wala ko idea san galing at sino kumakatok dahil mag isa lang ako nagcheck-in sa hotel. Then I noticed na there is someone na sumisilip sa glass window and knocks. Buti nakacover ako ng towel and nagtataka ko why right after na maligo ako. Medyo nataranta ako kasi baka mamaya nasilip nya cr. He keeps knocking at ang lakas ng loob ilapit ang mukha sa window. He is wearing white shirt. Lumakad ako dahan dahan and did try not to panic habang kumakatok sya. I tried to use the hotel's phone pero biglang di din magamit at di ako makatawag kahit sa front desk. Totally walang tone. Plano ko sana tumawag at mahuli habang andun pa. So I immediately asked for help sa friend ko thru cp na tawagan hotel for me kasi natataranta ako. Pinuntahan ako ng dalawang taga front desk and they ask san kumakatok. Sabi ko hindi sa door kundi sa window. Umalis sila to check the facility. Upon checking sabi nila mataas ang bakod or harang sa likod na yun at malabo daw makapasok iba dun. Then how? Sabi pa nung isa wala daw foot prints na nakita kasi maputik daw likod na yun at makikita if ever na may taong pumunta. Sinabi ko "hindi kaya dito sya nagtatrabaho kasi alam nya yung likod na yun at window and even the exact room where I am? ".

Good place to get fresh and live seafood. You choose in there aquarium and they cook it the way you want. The price may vary per gram. We really enjoy our dinner here delicious :)

First you will notice is super dirty floor in room and dead cockroaches. Keycard not working later and needed to change room. New room have no extra electric sockets for my charger and basin in bathroom is clogged. Manager did not care to listen about my experience at hotel when I checked out. This place is a dump. Restaurant had only limited selection of seafoods. Breakfast buffet was swarming with flies and bugs.

Just ok the serving people are good but rooms are not properly matained.

It was an okay hotel. It's cheap and wasn't expecting much from it. I did get my clothes washed there and they mixed my dark and light clothes causing one of my shirts to change colors. Overall, an okay place.

Spent four days at the hotel. The staff was excellent and friendly. I was having trouble contacting my tour company to confirm our trip to the Underground River, Meggy and other staff members took it upon themselves to make sure and get a hold of the company to confirm our tour. I really appreciated that. The restaurant was always busy, probably because of the good food. There was a good variety for breakfast which was included in booking the hotel. The rooms were quaint and comfortable. My family and I will definitely be ok this hotel again.

(Just for the restaurant). Great staff, you can change the dishes in case you don't like any ingredient. Prices are acceptable. Big ares, great for big groups. A little hot, but with big fans all over the place. Centrally located.

Had my birthday party at this hotel. Amazing service! 15 person dinner party and it was a constant parade of food and I did not have one bite that was bad. Wonderful owner and staff that are so attentive. Beautiful dining area and very nice rooms.
The owner suggested some great beaches and we were able to take the hotel shuttle van. What a wonderful way to experience Palawan for the first time.

Yummy pork barbeques here. But very very slow service. 30min+ for a bbq order. And forget about the free drink refills…

I recently stayed in Skylight Hotel for one week and really enjoyed their quick and friendly service. The rooms are clean and the internet runs well. Skylight also has an amazing live seafood restaurant that I would highly recommend. Overall the experience was quite a memorable one and I will definitely be coming back again and again. We went here for the seafood resto. Affordable delicious food — — trytheir salt and pepper prawns.

It's my 2nd stay at Skylight 1st 2011 the service is good but now kinda bad we stay June 15 to 17, 2017. Aircon is not working well, even shower faucet in my son room I think the hotel manager is lack of politeness, thought is good location near airport.

Having a chance to step again the land of Puerto Princesa, Palawan … I will choose skylight Hotel to check in… when we were there we ask the tricycle driver whats the nice place to eat seafoods for our lunch and he refer us d Hotel we really like d foods and its affordable price… and YES! the staff are supper accomodating… I loved to visit again Puerto Princesa w/friends and family… soon God willing!
