You have to stay here if you are coming to Huacachina! They offer great tours included in the price, great food including the free breakfast and an awesome vibe. Great to relax here after some busy weeks. Make sure you book in advance because it's full every night!

Environments and rooms acceptable, its attractiveness is dominated by the presence of foreign tourists rather than locals. Their point against it is the attention and the treatment on the part of the staff, they were not attentive; It gives the impression that the opposite happens with the foreign guests.

Nice hostel in the middle of the Oasis in Huacachina. We had a double private room with a open space bathroom, it was really nice. The common areas are excellent, they have an amazing restaurant where you can order food and drinks during the whole day. With the reservation comes an activity (sand buggy, BBQ or Pisco Tour) and breakfast (which is quite good).

It's ok and reasonable. The guide (driver) of Sand buggy car was rude. Who he think he is. I was unhappy and uncomfortable with his attitude.

Perfect if you are looking for a young and informal atmosphere.

The bar, pool and common area is the best I've seen in a hostel in South America so far. It's a great place to chill out and meet people. The private room was amazing too. It felt like an island resort or something. That said, it's the most expensive private room we've had. Worth it just for one night though. The tours are a bit of a rort though. They say sandboarding is included, but if you want a board that you can stand up on, or isn't just a piece of old wood, it doubles the price of the tour. They know you don't have much choice and are taking total advantage of it. Would have given a 4, but there were a couple of people working there that were just so sour every time you spoke to them. One of them was taking the orders for the bar and food, so you have to speak to her pretty often. Puts a bit of a damper on things. Side note — Tito behind the bar is a legend. He's epic at making cocktails and a good dude.

One of my best moment in Peru. Being lost in the middle of the desert, in the best hotel of Huacachina was for me a great experience. The swimming pool is nice, the food so good and fresh, and a great thanks to Ernesto for making people feel confortabl! don't hesitate, just book :)

Really nice hostel that included 1 free activity each day we stayed there. Pool, bar and outdoor area are resort like. Food and drinks are quite expensive. I recommend the sand dune tour and the wine tour. For the wine tour ask for Chrisitain at reception! He is the man. The first night we stayed the power was out and the second night the water stopped working. That was the only negative.

This evaluation is mainly for the food and environment here, the food I ordered has generally good quality, especially for the juice. The ambience is likely for the young peoples. For service is just ok.

Rather overpriced and overrated. Rooms were clean and very good showers. Nice staff and access to Netflix. Good food, which you can buy at the hostel, but expensive and not the largest of portions. The BBQ is tastey and gives a good portion size of vegetables but is 35 soles or counts as one of your "activities". Not much to do apart from drink and sit by the pool in the sweltering heat of the day. Booked a bus via the hostel (palomino) which was sold as "flat beds" at the hostel but was barely 150 degrees for an 18 hour bus ride to Cusco which was boiling hot for half the journey and freezing for the other half with a small portion of rice to keep us fed for the 18 hours.

Great quality of the place, but not a hostel but one of those pseudo party hostels, with ridiculous prices. Rooms are great, clean, designer bathroom, comfy beds. 5/5 Kitchen not available for use. You can only buy food which is decent bit expensive. A major part of a normal hostel is a kitchen. Breakfast tiny and half an hour wait. Wi-Fi is an absolute joke, hardly useable apart from morning hours 1/5 Staff super slow but friendly. 3/5 Included activities: BBQ was a wait and questionable if worth the price. Great fish and chicken wings though! Tour, meh, tour guides don't really seem to care 2/5 Wouldn't have come here but rest booked.

A very cool Chulisimo place with a very good attention and the restaurant very good quality and great price. The excursion of the Bugee all a success but the tiny rooms the shower broken, are in works, and above the towels you have to rent, the music all day and night do not want to sleep relaxed because you can not. Still I think it's the best of the place.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in Peru. Right on the lagoon and bar/reception is beautiful. Friendly staff and very clean rooms/beds. Anyone who's traveling to Huacachina should stay here! Muy bueno!

In case the place is excellent, the only bad thing is the tour of the vineyards or wineries, is a scam, they tell you to take you to 3 wineries and actually take you in a combi to a store where you get a mediocre explanation and you get like 12 shots followed and it's all, never take that option, it's lousy!

Unwelcoming, unhelpful, only interested in your money and getting even more out of your pocket. I wanted to pay by card and they forced me to pay in cash although they display Visa and Mastercard logos. Breakfast is quite tiny and I had problems having a shower because of how little water was coming out. We came here because it was recommended in a guide, but I think they got too full of themselves after that.

Nice hostel though the seemingly non-optional combination hostel + tour package is a little confusing and overpriced.

Excellent hostel. The room with private bathroom stands out. The package buggy + sandboarding fun. The bar serves dishes rich and abundant. The only thing to keep in mind are the prices a bit high.

Please pricing information for rooms not listed. I need prices of triple room with additional bed or bunk bed. 2 adults and three children. From may 09 until may 12, 2016.

It is really a super cosy hotel where you can rest at ease, read a book in a perfect atmosphere and excellent food and beverage service… very professional buggy ride, you're going to really enjoy I recommend it.

The room we had was nice, spacious and clean. We took the package with sandboarding and buggy tour. The sandboards are quite bad (not real snowboards) and the whole thing is a bit overpriced.

If you make it out to the amazon, find the parrot pedro and tell him I said hi. watch out cause he bites.

Banana Adventure has a completely different environment of the Huacachina hostels, which usually offer a fun, young atmosphere. In Bananas Adventure the situation is different, here from the moment that you enter you feel as you get disconnected completely from the world.
You can enjoy a cocktail made of fresh fruits and Pisco, then put your feet in the pool and cool off, and finally to read your favorite book on one of the sunbeds that are in this colorful garden.

Overpriced accommodation and food but decent place with pool, convenient if ur lazy.
