Excellent atmosphere, cleanliness, order, good education for the guests.

For me Aguas Calientes was a one night stop. The hotel was friendly, clean, and good for a sleep before Machu Picchu.

Clean room, hot water, quiet environment except the train pass, close to the square.

Far the best place to stay in Aguas Calientes.

To spend the night is fine, does not have great luxuries. It is a pass to go to Machupicchu.

I had a wonderful experience at Ecopackers this past week. To start off, the rooms offer lockers for each individual with outlets inside for charging devices. The beds are clean and plenty of covers are provided. The bathrooms, unlike most others that I have visited in Cusco or Aguas Calientes, are extremely clean and toilet paper is always stocked. Most exciting for me was the shower — not only was the shower head large and high (I'm quite tall), but the water pressure and water temperature were just delicious. Not kidding, the one shower I had the privilege of taking at this hostel may have been the best shower I've had in years. The hostel consists of five levels, so be prepared for a little exercise. Certainly not handicapped accessible. Very close to both the center square and the bus departure point for Machu Picchu. On the top level is a very quaint social area/bar where I enjoyed spending time in the evenings while charging my phone. Free Wi-Fi is provided, but it is slow on certain levels. Towels available for rent. Luggage can be kept at the front desk for free while you visit Machu Picchu if you are expecting to return after your check-out time. Front desk staff was very helpful. Price was easy on the wallet 0 complaints.

Great rooftop bar for breakfast and entertainment. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms, exceptional beds for a hostel. Bit loud as the train passes right next to it. Bathroom for 4, but really loud ventilation in it.

Good expensive hostel for your Machu Picchu adventure. Yes, is not cheap, but rooms are warm, there is always hot water, en suite bathrooms, extensive breakfast with real fruit juice, nice terrace with a view, good people at reception and bar and surprisingly fast Wi-Fi (better in the bar). I am happy that I spent the extra bucks. Suggestion : put people that wake up at 4 am together.

It was a super place. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The bar/restaurant is a super place to hang out. We traveled to  Machu Picchu and left the pack at the hostel. When we came back I asked if I could take a shower before the train ride and they had no problem with that. Super place.

It is good hostel with good service and restaurant in the area. The bathrooms are small. Good prices.

I lived such a great expericne that I would like to repeat over and over again, The calmness, the environment, the beautiful landscape outside my window. WOW! Im speechless, don't know how to describe this beautiful experience.

The best hotel to go to Machu Picchu. Is in the village, so you can do more routes to climb up into the valley. The restaurant food is excellent and the attention superb. Very good experience.

A lugra excellent, great attention, delicious food, unbeatable location. If Macgu Picchu is one of the wonders of the world without a doubt Sumaq is one of the wonders of Machu Picchu.

A wonderful hotel, definitely MORE THAN 2 DAYS ARE NEEDED to enjoy not only the facilities, but the beauty of the flora and fauna of their surroundings! Very happy with your service!

This hotel is spectacular. I was treated wonderfully and was the perfect place to rest after doing various activities in Aguas Calientes. 100% recommended.

Very clean, beautiful views from the terrace. The breakfast included is good. The service of the reception girl was not very good. You always Atendia bad.

Not so expensive for an Youth hostel in Aguacaliente. The rooms are clean, so is the bathroom. The bar will offer you some cheap beers, drink and some games.

Great hotel. So cool on the inside. Many buildings combined into a set of rooms. They installed a brand new water heater the day we were there. Cold water only before, now hot water! Only problem was on our floor (third) the water pressure was absolutely abysmal. Luckily the warmth helped compensate. Good little area with games to wait for the train, and delicious free breakfast. Very laid back and enjoyable place.

This place would be excellent if the staff were friendlier and the wood of the hostel did not thunder.

It is a very beautiful Hostel, but the Wi-fi is not good!

One of the nicer hotels in Machu Picchu. Great dinning and accommodations. They offer Pisco Happy Hours and tea time.

We had a 1 night stay in Aguas Calientes while we were visiting Machu Picchu. Beautiful appointed rooms with great views. The meals were 4 star.

They didn't have hot water and the lady at the desk kept saying it would come on but it never did. The Wi-Fi also did not work. They gave us a 20sol discount after I asked. It was not bad, they did keep our bags while we went up MP. They need to work on fixing their Wi-Fi and Hot water. The bedrooms seemed clean.

Luxury hotel at the base of Machu Picchu. Would definitely stay here again. The food was outstanding, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms are large, quiet, and clean. Stay here.

Spacious immaculate rooms. Very comfortable bed, a perfect hotel to recover from the Inca Trail. Staff were very accommodating with an early check in.

Wonderful place in the otherwise ugly village. Food is very fine. The room is great.

The hostel has a bar/restaurant on the top floor with a nice view of the mountains. The rooms are clean and have lockers. Only the bathroom in my dormitory had a (water) leaking toilet, so the floor was always wet. A good pool billard table can be used for free. The breakfast time is from 4.15 am (! ) to 8 am. The breakfast is basic, but if you wake up so early to go to Machu Picchu you would likely be too tired to enjoy something special. Nevertheless you can order additional stuff like scrambled eggs and other things. The coffee is very strong!
