Chacha International Hostel

Comfy beds and clean kitchen but I found it too dark and missed a nice common room.

Really decent hostel given how cheap it is. Lovely staff though limited English is spoken. Good, hot showers, decent kitchen and clean rooms/bathrooms. Located really near the centre with a 15 minute straight line walk to the bus station.

Very great etablishement, everything is clean and cosy, and the staff is kind. We had a room with two very comfortable bed, a desk (we were even offered another), two windows, Wi-Fi, shower with hot water and wc are appart, there's a commun kitchen too, and they also give you a towel and a little soap. It's 39soles the room for 2 separated bed, 40s the matrimonial, and 18s by person for a bed in a shared room of 4 persons You can also take lessons of spanish, eat and drink because it's part a cafeteria (vegetarian friendly), and read in the lybrary Anyway, it's a really good place to stay for the price.

I was very pleased with my experience at this hostel, my private room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable although it did get a bit noisy at times being next to the kitchen. The hostel staff were incredibly helpful with setting up tours and answering questions and the owners were very attentive to guest needs. The restaurant in the adjacent building was good and reasonably priced. The bathrooms were clean but the showers were not the warmest, there seemed to be extensive renovations occurring while I was staying there so I imagine they will improve. Definitely worth checking out if you are in Chachapoyas.
