Hell on earth! Ongoing construction which apparently has been going on for years and shows no sign of ending. Where do I start… Check in had a serious lack of eye contact and staff are poorly trained in customer service After a long flight and a good nights sleep I was looking forward to a good breakfast… but was greeted with a sweaty, smelly breakfast room, cold buffet, poor service and a bunch of flies as companions I thought to myself it can't get any worse but boy I was wrong… The terrace pool was closed, the only open pool had no food or drinks service, the constant drilling and banging allowed no relaxation and to top it all off no towels No restaurants were open in the hotel which is extremely dated, including a peeling dirty bathtub and furniture that looks as if it has been transported from the 1980s. Perhaps the hotel is surviving because it has discovered the secret of time travel And you would think at least you could use the lift to get in and out of the hotel to escape the awfulness. No don't hold your breath. Only one of the two lifts working in such a large hotel until we found the service lift The hotel staff have a bizarre sense of nonchalance and service is deeply deeply slow so don't bother expecting to get your room service within the acceptable 30-45 minutes. The only thing going for this hotel is the excellent views of panama bay Avoid at all costs and you're better off paying the extra $50 and going to another property. One of the worst places I have ever stayed at!
