I stayed for 4 nights from 1st to 5th Sept 18. Check in was simple via the automatic kiosk. The room (executive) was a good size and well equipped. Okay maybe not as nice looking as the website photos but thats to be expected. Room was clean, decent temperature and very quiet. The Wi-Fi was not good and would be an issue for NON EU Citizens without EU roaming. I'd still recommend this place and will be staying again in January. I quite amused by some of the negative reviews as its obvious that the guests have NOT read the T&Cs before.

Once and never again! A better hostel. You don't get any information at the reception. You had to point out yourself that you booked breakfast and parking. Breakfast is simply put in front of the door. On the first day instead of 2 only one got. Other than 1 croissant, the other is inedible. Kitchen in the room not clean. But the best thing is the bed. With every movement, it sounds like it's going to collapse. Room cleaning and fresh wipes only for a fee or optionally with washing machine to clean cloths. Luckily, it's only three nights. I am already wondering where we can dump our waste or whether we need to take it with us.

We stayed at Frogner in December 2017. We were absolutely satisfied with the gorgeous apartment. We arrived a little bit too early, but they managed to check us in before. We had everything we need and the Wi-Fi was really good. The check out was totally uncomplicated and we had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much.

I stayed in this hotel last year. There were a lot of problems. First the photos on the booking website did not match the reality (room 509), showing (except one photo) other rooms. The room was not clean, there was amold (! ) in the corners of the bathtub. There was no air-conditioning at all — the temperature in the room was all the time above 26oC (! ). The equipment was very worn out, generally the room looks like from the end of the XX century. The ratio of price to quality was unfavorable therefore. The staff was very rude — I asked to reserve a taxi from a particular corporation, however the person from the reception told me that the Frogner House Apartment cooperate with anothet one, and refuse to reserve the taxi as I wish. Never again!

Good but not perfect. Rooms are big and clean and beds are nice but we had some issues with the kitchen and bathroom. In the bathroom not all the lights work and its not clear where you can connect your electric equipment. In the kitchen we had a big issue with our oven. First of all we hardly understood how the oven worked. And when we understood, it caused a major fall out of electricity in our kitchen. And that happened 3 times and was only solved half.

Very nice apartment hotel.
At the entrance of the electronic registration desk, but since I did not have a specific password, I asked for help from the staff. Got quick help and friendly attitude. Very nice!
I was upgraded to the second floor, in a 211 room. The room was clean and tidy. Spacious enough. Nice view from the window. But it is important to keep in mind: somewhere downstairs in the same building, apparently, there is a bar and at night very audible music!
The room is non-smoking but there is a table with an ashtray and a pair of chairs on the balcony. I do not smoke, so it was important to me that the room had no unpleasant odors. By the way, there were old butts in the ashtray. But it is in general a trifle…
Comfortable bed, white linen. On blocks of a bed cabinets for clothes: shelves, hangers. There is an ironing board, an iron.
In the kitchen area everything you need for cooking: a small stove, a small refrigerator, a kettle, a set of different utensils, a frying pan, a saucepan, glasses, different plates, etc. Everything is very clean, tidy, without chipping.
The room was very thermostat.
Great location near the bus stop, walking distance to the center on foot 20 minutes. On the ground floor is a coffee shop, near grocery stores (7-Eleven, Kiwi Mini Pris).
So everything is fine, except loud music late night and night.

Excellent location, the apartment was clean and nicely decorated, as well as equipped with all you need. The check-in desk were easy to use. A coffee machine & newspapers were availables at the entrance. There is a coop supermarket close by and also many places where you can take away something for breakfast, restaurants and cafes.

Our trip to Oslo was amazing, partly due to the wonderful accommodations offered by Frogner House Skovveien 8. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and patient and their attention to detail was noted.

Frogner House own several apartment buildings in up market, west central Oslo. Apartments range from one room studios to larger units with two separate bedrooms. For the same price as a hotel room or less you get a large studio room with a kitchen and bathroom, dining table and chairs. I have used Frogner House three times, staying in different buildings each time. All are of a high standard in quiet, residential locations. I would recommend Frogner House to anyone visiting Oslo and looking for an alternative to standard hotel accommodation.

Very well located in the city.

The room and location were great, but the late night check-in service is not something that they are well prepared for even though they say that it is okay. We arrived around midnight on Friday evening and waited 20 minutes, along with several other guests in the same situation, for some one to show up and check us in. Hopefully, it was a one-time issue.

Our stay was very pleasant. We had a family room size room and it accommodated our two kids and me and my wife perfectly. We didn't end up using any of the kitchen amenities but they did seem functional. For the price vs other hotels I give it five stars overall. No breakfast other than room service but there is a nice cafe and bakery next door.

So far so good friendly staff and apartment is very clean and has all the mod cons needed So far very impressed.

Very well-located. Nice neighborhood, basic shops anyone needs around in walking distance and a varied offer of public transportation to take you anywhere in town.
