➜ Hotel in an isolated place, away from the center. Near the pool.
The rooms are located in two buildings separated from the central body of the hotel and in winter it is always necessary to put the heavy jacket to go back and forth from the central body.
The Two buildings of the rooms almost look like bungalows and overall the hotel gives the impression of almost a campsite.
The rooms are small, The beds not very comfy, the furniture is outdated. The rooms are very noisy and you can hear everything from the neighbors. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired and is carried out apparently not every day.
The heating is enough.
The bathroom is small and outdated. The shower has a curtain that does not repair the bathroom from getting completely wet every time you shower.
The Dinner has a menu with a few dishes which by the way are not cooked very well. Very poor Quality.
The Breakfast in practice consists only of bread, butter and jam or bread with salami and cheese. Plus you can have yogurt and cereal. There's nothing else.
The laundry service is inefficient and took three weeks.
The Internet connection works but quite slowly. In some hours of the day it goes really very very slow.
The prices of the hotel are still very high.
I Wouldn't recommend it. It is Probably best to look for another hotel in the nearby town of Gjovik, 15 minutes by car from Raufoss.
The rooms could be cleaner and more soundproff, yet the price wasn't that steep compared to hotels closer to Gjøvik. The place sort of feels like a hybrid between a camping place and a hotel, although the breakfast area felt a bit more cosy as opposed to the more formal feeling of other hotels. The location is great for those interested in swimming at the water park which is a 100 meters away. Good for families with children. Also the hotel is not that far away from Gjøvik, just a 15 minute drive.
