This place is exactly what I was looking for. It is a small quiet Boutique Hotel with a nice Breezy outdoor area where you can get sun or shade or just sit in a rattan chair under a ceiling fan and relax. The rooms are quiet and cool with high ceilings and calming colors there is no TV in my room anyway there's a bonus as far as I'm concerned. There is a small outdoor pool and a drinks refrigerator where you just write down your room number and they charge it to your room. The woman at the front desk who I believe is the manager was very sweet and helpful and she speaks English so that makes things easy for US Traveler's like me. All in all I'm very happy with this place and I will be staying here again next year. (dictated not read)

We enjoyed our stay at this small quaint location. Just off the beach and easy walking distance to all the town offers. Quiet with a seated breakfast and excellent service.

This is the best accommodation in SJDS outside of the Pelican Eyes Resort. That being said. San Juan del Sur is a surfing spot. The benchmark are hostels. The hotel is clean, AC works good, the included breakfast is very good. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. The floor was dirty when we checked in but was cleaned the following morning, after we asked. The pool was very nice and relatively clean. It was cleaned halfway through our stay. We were the only ones ever using it. The common areas are beautiful and well maintained. The colonial atmosphere is fantastic. There are no TVs in rooms, but the TV in the common area was always available. All in all, for $140 a night (one Queen and two bunks), I expected more in Nicaragua. But looking at the alternatives, I think we did well. I would stay here again, if it's usually not a busy hotel. I don't know if it's much busier in winter, and if it is, I'm not sure what we would do with our two extremely rambunctious boys, with no TV in the room and other people using the pool, as it's not big.

Stayed there for the 6 nights and had an amazing time! The hotel really made the stay so comfortable. Rooms were comfortable and staff was super friendly. The veranda and pool were so nice to come back to everyday. The breakfast prepared for you each morning was a great start to the day. I would highly recommend this hotel as I will be returning and trust me I am a super picky traveler!

Great place! A little hotel were you can find your self in home, just a side of is el coco hotel, the one I stayed; its the same owner and is great.

I was sick the whole time I was there, the bed and the pillows where very comfortable! Food was good and was close to many of the restaurants in town.

It is one of the best hotel in San Juan del Sur… the attention to the customer above all and the comfort for a good holiday…

This place is awesome! I love that it is small and across the street from the beach. It makes walking around to all the bars and restaurants easy. You don't always get the best service in Nicaragua, but the staff at Posada Azul are very friendly and attentive to your needs. The pool is small and quiet. The food is very good as well. Especially the breakfasts. If you are going to stay in San Juan del Sur you have to try Posada Azul. You'll love it.

I loved everything about this wonderful boutique hotel, conveniently situated near a beach, lined up with about dozen palapa restaurants. The owners and the staff are all very professional. The place radiates with hospitality, friendly and relaxing energy and atmosphere. Clean, clean, clean. The rooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable. Delicious breakfast, beginning with a large plate of fresh fruit. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to San Juan del Sur.

This is a wonderful little boutique hotel. Nothing in SJDS compares in terms of friendly staff, location, beautiful, well-maintained rooms and grounds. This is really the only place in San Juan del Sur that I would absolutely recommend to a friend. There are a few other really nice places like Pelican Eyes, Morgan's Rock, Palermo or Mango Rosa, but they are all too far from town for my liking.
