Really amazing hostel on Ometepe. The owner, Mauro and his mom Maria were just so warm and welcoming. They are hardworking people and are always there to help the customers. We extended our stay because this place was excellent. They also provided a tutu to bring us to the ferry. They clean our room when we ask. Also they have laundry services for a fee and there is a fridge outside with beer and water that are well priced. Also have a kitchen for you to use. The front entrance have hammocks and it is definitively THE place where we hang and relax with our friends. They also have a smoker area to not disturb the non smokers guests. Great gem on Ometepe and family owned. Will definitively come back to see them again. When you stay here, talk to them and ask them to tell you the hostel's story because it is quite an awesome story coming from nothing.
Great budget accommodation. Rooms are clean and decent size, shared bathroom only with 2 rooms, rooms with private bath also available. Shared kitchen and nice communal area outside to eat your meals and relax in hammocks. A few minutes outside of town so a bit quieter but still handy. Very friendly staff, you feel at home here. Highly recommended, at 20 USD for double room in high season. Thanks for the great stay!
