It was a beautiful stay, not only the hotel is beautiful, warm, pleasant hambiente, but also the service, the attention by the owner with his wife was excellent, they are such nice, respectful, friendly people, it is a super relaxing place the view is beautiful. Super recommended.

The view is spetacular, we can see Conception very well. The owners make sure you will pass a beautiful stay. The food is really good. The staff is very friendly.

Amazing place to spend your time in ometepe island. Great pool and stuning sunset. Staff is really nice and helpful. Food there is so good. Room was big and clean. It's a bit far from everything if you don't have car or motorbike, but it doesn't really matter. I would definitely recommend this place!

This was a nice little gem. Such a beautuful view and nice little pool.

Second time coming with my husband, and this time with my daughter, son in law and granddaughter also. We all love this place now, especially the breathtaking view. The stuff extremely helpful and sweet, and the owner a jewel! The only thing you've got to be careful is to make sure they understand what you're asking for (food wise), as I got two different times dishes that I didn't ask for, and twice a totally different smoothies. Be prepared to wait for the food, since it takes way longer then it should, but it seems that this is a common thing all over Nica. Other than that, the place truly deserves 5 stars.

Such a beautiful place. I loved it. Also, the guy who works in the restaurant/front desk was awesome. Super friendly and English was very good. Food was also very tasty. You can book your trips right at the front desk as well which makes things very easy. Also, met the owner who was a very nice guy as well.

Amazing accommodation and the view from the pool is out of this world as it faces the sunset over the lake with the plain view of Conception. It gets better with the good chefs in the kitchen and the sounds of nature. It is a long drive to get here but worth it.

This is a beautiful resort. Nice view, pool, rooms. The service was terrible. They had a young staff that sat on their cell phones and couldn’t care less about customers. It became frustrating to say the least. If properly managed this would be an amazing place to stay, but I would not go back after the way we were treated by staff. They literally ignored us unless we approached them.

4 days of nature and good food, high level of service and super friendly staff.

Gorgeous. It’s a hike to this side of the island and the roads get unpaved in a hurry and it’s still worth it in my opinion. The staff was very nice and Horacio in particular gave us great guidance on what to do. Wife and I rented a motorcycle through the hotel on our 2nd day and had an absolute blast and none of the hassle that you read about regarding others rental experiences.

Hotel is beautiful, everything you can dream about for an exotic island place. The drive in however was very hard, long and slow on a very Rocky road. Very hard to do in a regular family car.

It was nothing short of amazing. La Omaja is an oasis outside a small rural town that is populated by the sweetest most welcoming people. The pool is next to the bar and the views from the pool (and the units) are breathtaking. The food at the restaurant was outstanding and the attentive friendly staff made the experience even better. The hotel will coordinate guided hikes to the nearby volcanoes and a ton of other worthwhile adventures. I will never forget the challenge of hiking up Volcan Maderas followed up by soaking in the pool drinking mojitos and admiring Volcan Conception. Muchas gracias, La Omaja!

This is not a good experience for those who make a fast visit. The only good thing is the view, it has an amazing landscape, but it doesn't worth.

Awesome spot on the Island. Best customer service we experienced in Nica so far. Great view and the infinite pool where you can unwind after a morning treck is def' a must. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Ometepe. ️

The beauty of this property is unmatched. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my girlfriend the weekend of the 18th in August. Iv done my fair share of travels and have always made sure to do my due diligence when looking up a new location. For those looking for information on how to get there waze will do the job, I rented a compact 2wd car from Managua, took the ferry into Moyogalpa and drove all the way to the hotel about a 45-50 min drive. This could be done in much shorter time with a 4wd vehicle. The hotel is located about 3 miles away from the main road. You have to be extremely careful driving there if you have a 2wd vehicle. The rocks are big, jagged and the road has dips and extremely uneven terrain with a couple of uphills and downhills. Iv done my fair share of off-roading back home in my Jeep but even with experience it was a good test of skill not to damage the rental or get stuck. Once there I was greeted by the staff who remembered my name out entire stay. We didn't eat there but did have a couple of drinks. The pool was clean and always empty. The rooms where huge spacious and of good construction. The water pressure in our room (room 1) was faint but it's expected in places like these. Room service was efficient but did not change the towels which would have been nice. There was a safe in the room which was food to have. This is a perfect get away for couples hands down. The distance between bungalows is perfect.

The staff is amazing! Love the secluded feel and the infinity pool for sure! We didn't have a bug net so we spend our nights praying to not get bit by ants or other critters, but overall we loved our stay and views. Thank you staff at Hotel La Omaja!

All should know Q The hotel is far very bad road, suggested for couples who want to be alone is not recommended to the family, very scarce menu, rooms without duvets, swimming pool Q do not see with the web. I don't recommend it to anyone looking for fun. The restaurant and bar close at 9 pm and as Qda in La Nada you have q Qdar in the room.
