Rooms and beds are super comfortable and hambiente of luxuries. Structure plated with wood giving it a classic touch and a hambiente custom as these in your pripia house. The attention is first class.

The location was super convenient for an early morning flight out of Managua. It was very clean, had great air conditioning units, and the employees were very helpful. Definitely would visit again!

Affordable price for two people, clean and good atmosphere. High prices, but if you want to spend, that is no problem.

Excellently well placed in case of late arrival or early departure from the airport of Managua. Right in front of a street to cross. And in addition the hotel had the courtesy to send me its shuttle to make the 200 m… Good room, good breakfast.

The hotel boast a great hotel swimming pool with lunch bar. The sun is amazing along with the countless mango trees in the property. We just had to have some as it was irresistible. The beakfast is more than adequate but the prices are rather on the expensive side during lunch and dinner considering the economy of the country. The city price are a little higher but this is only in US currency. Great experience all around.

Hotel consists of wooden huts in some rows, that is getting used to, but nice décor and great restaurant.

I will always stay at last Mercedes if I have a late afternoon flight out of Managua. Since I last stayed there they have upgraded many of the rooms and the reception area. The dining area and the main pool area have been improved as well with a really fun bar at the pool area where you are able to meet locals as well as other foreigners traveling in and out of Nicaragua. We had the buffet breakfast the morning of the day of our departure and I would give it a solid 3 1/2 out of 5 stars because of the lack of selection. Being that they serve primarily Travelers I would like to see them offer some healthier choices and let the buffet run a little bit later maybe with a salad bar option. The reason I like to stay there when I have a late afternoon flight is although I check out of my room before noon, I can leave my bags with the concierge and stay and stay at poolside drinking a cocktail or maybe eating lunch,, or spending more time with friends or family and in the event in the rainy season that flights get delayed or are late and I have to stay again it makes it convenient that I've already been registered there.

This hotel is a tad overpriced for Nicaragua, but is directly across the street from the airport. It’s a great option for a very early am flight. The hotel and staff are very nice. It is a large complex so feels a bit empty — we noticed there were huge conference rooms, so it is probably used for that a lot. It is one level, the rooms are laid out in long rows behind the lobby/restaurant area. Nice pool area. The restaurant food is reasonable, decent, not memorable. Wait staff everywhere was excellent.

My wife and I spent a few hours before a flight at the restaurant here. The restaurant is modern and very well kept with great lighting and cold air conditioning. Our server was excellent, he was prompt and came around enough but not too much. He also spoke very good English which was positive because we don't speak much Spanish. The food was quite good and they actually give you free water in a glass (a big deal in Nicaragua). If you arrive in Managua long before your flight this is a solid bet.

We stayed here for the convenience of its proximity to the airport the night before an early flight. The rooms are sparse but are clean and adequate, and the breakfast was good with a varied number of foods from which to choose. The reason for only two stars, however, is because our reservation was made on the hotel website for one night/two guests for a specific rate for which we had a confirmation. However, when we arrived, we were charged an additional ~$25 US (including taxes) for having a second person in the room. Totally unfair! We reserved a room for two people initially!

This was a good location for an overnight close to the airport. There is a new lobby and restaurant which provide an amusing disconnect with the rooms, which are Hacienda style units. The room was clean and comfortable and the wake up call came through. We had been in Granada where the warmth of the local community had been everywhere. The Las Mercedes staff were polite and helpful, but a bit more stiff. There did not appear to be anywhere close to eat other than the hotel restaurant, which was ok.

Great location if you're flying in late. Also, the staff was INCREDIBLY helpful. We made a mistake in our reservation and they were very understanding. And, this was our first trip to Nicaragua, and the staff was went out of their way to assist us.

Ridiculously convenient to the airport, the Best Western Las Mercedes has been an excellent first stay on my trip to Nicaragua. The staff has been friendly and professional. My room has been nice and clean. The space is pretty, outdoorsy and full of plant life. The pool and massage service were both very well appreciated by my knotted back after packing it like a sardine in airplanes all day.

Lovely comfortable room. Stayed here our first night in Managua. Later we came back several hours before our early morning flight to hang around in their restaurant. As it was new years Eve, the bar was closed for a big party. They held our bags for us and let us linger over drinks in the restaurant. Great spot and right across from the airport. A definite plus to get your bearings when you arrive in Managua!

Best Western La Mercedes in Managua, Nicaragua was great. We stayed only one night as we were traveling to Pochomil. The staff, service — everything was just super. The location to the Airport was also a plus — literally, across the street. Highly recommended!

From the airport to the hotel just crossing the street. Excellent restaurant, swimming pools, Bars, General services all of excellent quality.

The hotel staff were attentive at check in and the process went smoothly even though I was not a Spanish speaker. The room was clean and everything worked well although the water pressure was pretty low in the shower. The rooms were configured in rows which was not good for acoustics because all of the outside noises seemed to be amplified in the room. The workers at the bar by the pool were not attentive at all. Each time my travel partner or I needed another beer or anything else, it was a challenge to get their attention. They always seemed to have something important to do that prevented them from helping the patrons. The breakfast is good although the buffet is somewhat limited in offerings. The made-to-order omelets are very good. I always stay at this hotel when I am in Nicaragua because of the proximity to the airport. It is an easy walk just across the street.

I stayed at the Best Western Las Mercedes in Managua as I arrived in Nicaragua and as I departed Nicaragua. It is immediately across from the airport, which makes it convenient. It has great amenities and is very comfortable. I have stayed there before and will stay there again.

Exceedingly convenient. I arrived in the afternoon and left early the next morning. Hassel free. Comfortable room. I would recommend this Hotel for people who need accessibility to airport.

Bring your own drinking water, face cloths, hand towels, tissues, coffee cup and coffee (unless you like instant presto). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Internet worked great.

Unusual architecture — rooms are wooden structures with a covered walkway and skylight. Reminds me of an old style motel except that cars don't park at the door. Convenience — Real reason it survives is that it across the street from the Managua Airport. Ideal for early departures and late arrivals.

Very good hotel and comfortable. Very expensive and if you get yourself to a guest, only to talk you want to charge 11 dlls. For all they want to make money.

It is a place quiet and safe.

My husband and I are very satisfied to have stayed at this hotel we stayed 4 days 3 nights and it is excellent every attention to cleanliness friendliness of all the staff and good deals ect as there are many options but we are definitely going back and recommend this hotel.

It brings Me very beautiful memories, when I recorded my television programme Zone Fitness. Loved to see my friend the great tree, Guanacaste, a beautiful tree that I trusted him peace. The service and attention very lousy, 2015 to the date.

We arrived at the airport at about 2:30 in the morning on 07/22/17 having no reservations and having been told horror stories of Managua. And to make matters even worse we did not speak Spanish. A very nice and polite young lady gave us a ride across the street (walking distance) to the Best Western we went and asked if we could possibly get a room at least for the night. The night shift manager {Leonel Espinoza) stated that there was nothing available. My wife was about to bust into tears MR. Espinoza told me after checking the computer that he could have a cleaning crew clean a room if we wanted to wait about 15 min. After about 20 min. Mr. Espinoza told us the room was ready { what a relief } he told us that we may have to switch rooms the next day though {not a problem} we went to this room and it was fantastic. The next morning we got up and went and ate this GREAT breakfast at the hotel we checked in with the day shift manager (Jorge Bantancour) he told as we could stay in the same room or move to a smaller one. We were kinda stuck in Managua for a couple of days waiting on a flight to corn island so we went back to the front desk and asked if there was anything to see Lesly Herrera told us about the volcano and other things to see. She arranged a taxi for us and we were off sightseeing. This was a great experience the staff at the Best Western REALLY made this an enjoyable experience.

This place looks like the sort of hotel that celebrities and diplomatic dignitaries would stay at. It is truly a beautiful facility. The rooms do not back up to each other, but do have 2-4 rooms connected in a row (side by side), they are then separated by cobbled walkway's. This in my opinion adds quite a bit towards increasing guests privacy and quieter individual rooms.

In front of the airport of Managua. Good customer service. Rooms in process of improvements and some noise for work. Have improved to an excellent restaurant and bar. $$ affordable prices.

The hotel looks more like a resort. There are two nice pools and a lot of well maintained green areas. Accommodation is of high quality for Nicaraguan standards. Local staff are friendly, helpful and approachable. I did not try the buffet breakfast but food from the Pergola restaurant was tasty. The reception area needs to be improved though.

A great hotel for flights to/from Managua. Great breakfast and a big clean pool. Rooms are very clean.

Very handy place if you are flying early, just next to the airport. Rooms are nothing special (decent though), but breakfast and restaurant are quite good.

So close to the airport it's an obvious choice for an overnight stay when arriving late and leaving early. Surprisingly quite in the room. Rooms somewhat small, but not so that they feel small. They are rather functional and full equipped. Loved the restaurant hours and the delicious buffet breakfast. I'd stay again on a next trip.

The hotel is very well located, the staff is very friendly and rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds, air conditioning and bathrooms, breakfast is very good.

Right across the street from the airport, this hotel is a great option for travelers. We checked out of our room and were in the airport departure line within ten minutes. The hotel itself is spacious and consists of many freestanding rooms connected by covered walkways. The staff are very attentive, and when we had an issue with our room, maintenance workers arrived within 15 minutes. The hotel grounds include two large pools, a poolside bar, a gym, a restaurant, and a gift shop. Make sure to take advantage of the breakfast buffet, which is wonderful and includes to-order omelettes.
