Nice hot tub experience our tub was very private, nice facilities for changing/showering after happy staff ☺️ will be coming back.

Hot Tubs we visited today to have a hot tub it started out lovely very clean and maintained hot tub then the sky got darker and it opened up with thunderstorm and Hail it was spectacular sitting watching the lightning then the thunder very clean changing room and shower will be back to stay next time highly recommend.

This is a local hidden gem!

Excellent, cosy, warm. Great for get togethers. Comfy beds, quiet, tidy, clean venue.

This place is great I would be back in a flash a great place for family gathering.

A wellness centre no TV no en-suite Ana out of town overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We are the only ones here so it’s ok. Great fire!

Have been twice in the last month. Both times the property was fully rented for a family event and then for a small wedding. Most of the attendees were able to be accommodated at the venue. Worked well. Plenty of food prep area and grass area for a marque.

Love it can't wait to go back!

Everything available — very nice facilities. Great for a family occasion.

An area away from the town centre. Total of 8 rooms with double bed or twin rooms. Shared toilets and showers. Open and big kitchen with tables and chairs. Huge outdoor area.

Rude staff, filthy rooms. Would never go back.

Absolutely fantastic! Tranquil place right on the beach. The bathrooms are huge, bright, clean and big. Rooms all have a door out to a private back area. Huge kitchen and lovely comfortable shared living room. Make sure to bring what you need from town though as it’s a short drive back if you need anything. Gloria was so pleasant and so was Bonny the lovely Labradoodle. Definitely recommend and would stay there again.

An up-market backpacker hostel only a 5-minute drive from Oamaru Pros: • Very friendly reception • Inexpensive • Plenty of parking • Automatic lights in bathroom areas • Well-kept with lovely spacious décor in communal area • Toasty warm room Cons: • Communal living area right outside bedroom door; we could hear people talking at night • Duvet was hot; no mid-thickness blanket (to be fair, I never asked reception if a thinner one was available) • Hot tubs were available, but expensive as they are emptied and cleaned between use.

I loved this lodge with all my heart. The owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful and the rooms are small but sufficiently comfortable. There is a large common area with a fully functional kitchen which is useful for preparing meals on site as there aren't many dining options around the lodge. Wi-Fi included with the rental and spa/hot tub available for booking. The bathrooms are communal to the lodge. Great place to wake up a bit early to catch a beautiful sunrise!

Great common room with ample table and kitchen space! Individual rooms had clean beds and heaters. One of the outlets in my room was non-functional, which meant we could either eat or charge things. Men's bathroom was clean, but only had 2 showers (one of which was handicap accessible) and limited space around the sinks. Provided robes and towels were nice, but the robes were a bit uncomfortably short for a 6'2" guy. Overall, a great place to spend the night, with a very quick drive into town.

This is a home-like hostel in Omaru. The place is clean and tidy. You will definitely enjoy and love it if you stay here!

Exquisite lodge with decent room (slightly small…), big common showers, a fabulous kitchen and common area and a stunning property. Owner and dog were super pleasant.

The house is big with big living room and kitchen.

Fantastic place, relaxing, comfortable, and very well maintained. Awesome atmosphere. Couldn't hope for better. My wife and I have visited every year since 2010. Highly recommend.

I love this place for relaxing, taking in the surrounding beauty and roar of the ocean while soaking in a hot tub is purely blissful.
And to top it off a massage by a qualified therapist!
She did the best massage I have had in a long time! Really getting into my sore muscles.

Another one of my favourite NZ hostel. This intimite hostel only has private rooms which all come together in a common area. There's a spacious kitchen and living room. And the best thing? The amazing view. Here you just want to sit back and watch that view all day. Seriously. And share meals with other guests. Everything is clean and the owner is very helpful. I love this hostel and I can't wait to come back again for another stay.
