Reviews of Three Rivers Lodge 3*
We stayed here for one night in early September 2018. Our room was large and faced the main highway, but was elevated enough to give us a good view of the Lake Tekapo area. Our bed was comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by finding USB charging ports built into the wall sockets near the bed. I was also pleased that our hosts had Skye satellite programming which allowed for a wide variety of viewing options. Most of the B'n'B places we have stayed in NZ use a free streaming service called Freeview, which has a VERY small selection of mostly unappealing channels… No CNN, and mostly local NZ content. Our breakfast was fine and our hosts were most gracious, friendly and pleasant.
Large room with beautiful large windows to view the lake and the sky. Great heating and bathroom include a large bath that we enjoyed soaking in. The owners provided a standard English “full cooked” breakfast which was sufficient for what we needed — more driving and scenery. Great chats with a super friendly couple.
