We had a newer unit and were very impressed with it. Clean and well presented with a lovely spa bath, and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location-within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants and cafes, and small shopping centre.

Stayed here for one night. Checked in late and left relatively early (so didn't get to meet the hosts). Suite was clean, tidy and well appointed. Received a good night's sleep. Room Includes complimentary Wi-Fi and Sky Television.

Nice litter place, little expensive but so handy to a supermarket and the beach.

Cute little cottages with enough space for a large family. A little dated and lacked kitchen utensils and equipment to cook with. Friendly staff who made our stay comfortable.

Advertised as quiet, and it certainly is, very pleasant after a hard days work. Hopefully they will have a vacancy the next time I'm working in the Kapiti area.

Host went out of his way accommodating us. The room was large tidy comfortable and shower was fantastic with high pressure. Family really enjoyed large TV and sky for viewing pleasure.

If you're in Paraparaumu you definitely have to stay here, room was excellent, staff were more than willing to go the extra mile to help us out with anything we needed. 5 stars.

This is the best motel in Paraparaumu by far. The room was excellent, the staff are lovely, there's plenty of parking and the price won't be beat. If you need a motel in Paraparaumu and you don't stay here you're missing out.

The room was nice and clean. Carparking was a little bit difficult. There is a bit of a walk to the beach, so not sure if Ocean Motel would be appropriate.

I just stayed here for one night on a business trip. The host was very friendly. The room was nice and warm and the bed comfy. Actually one of my favourite things was the Wi-Fi. None of that useless slow and expensive zenbu Wi-Fi. But pretty decent internet so hardly had to leave my to and could still work away sitting on my bed. Good stuff! And very reasonable price.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ocean Motels. I found the hosts Mel and Thomas very helpful and accommodating. They found a room for me even though I had given them very short notice. As a paraplegic I found them very understanding to my needs and went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable. I deeply appreciate their support and the help given. I will definitely stay there again soon.

Lovely, quiet, extremely clean motel which is very handy to Paraparaumu Beach, shops and restaurants. We have stayed here twice and each time it's been great. The manager is very accommodating and always asks if there's anything else we need (we have 3 little ones) but everything is so well-catered and set up that staying here is a breeze! Kids love the trampoline in the playground too. Our bed was really comfy which was a plus after a big day of driving! Thanks Ocean Motel for a lovely stay.

Nice motel with good sized, clean rooms. Quiet and sheltered and close to the beach. Good wee playground and picnic area too. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
