Recently stay for 3 nights in our caravan, nice camp good facility's. All to be ruined by one of your full time residents who happens to drive a rubbish truck! Appears to take great pleasure in starting it up at 5am and turning all the flashing lights on then going into his caravan to finish his breakfast or some thing! before slowly very slowly leaving he camp. Ruins any positives we have of the camp.

Keep driving… This place is poorly run and expensive. The kitchen has basically nothing provided. E. G. One spatula and a couple of lidless pots. No cutlery or knives. The tea towels stank like they hadn't been washed in weeks. Signs demanding users wash their dishes were plainly in view, but no dish cloths or scrubbies. Internet costs $5 per day (many places it's free now! ). It's easy to find nicer places than this… (like the place we are at today! :) )

A road is adjacent so a little noise. But the bedding is comfortable.

Awesome cabins at really reasonable prices per night. Very clean and loads of facilities. A amazing outdoor seating arrangement under cover with BBQ facilities. Will definitely visit again!

Worth a stop before you drive over to the waitomo caves, from here about 16 km away. The pitches are with electricity and water. You can dispose of your garbage and old water here without any problems. If you want, you can fry your steak in the communal kitchen or use the free BBQ. There are several single wc/shower cabins. These are, so to speak, 2in1 compact. But really clean! If you need you can steel your body for 5€ in gym 24/7… astonishingly, the devices are relatively young and from the company Matrix/Technogym… very noteworthy! You also have several options on the premises to sit on the sweet picnic places.

Am impressed. Unit has air conditioning and one of the best showers I have ever had!. Camp is spread over Huge area. Great atmosphere too. So pleased owners are not jamming everyone in. Way cool.

Stayed in the basic cabin. Was pretty much what we needed as was well suited. Amenities were okay, but a bit basic. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking your own kitchen wear and mess kit as there is nothing here. Otherwise an okay place to stay a couple of nights.

Unpleasant to stay. Manager was not nice. Very expensive. Not wearth the money.

A lovely little camp ground. Helpful pleasant staff. Cabins clean with good hot water.

Great stop for our road trip. They were really accommodating — we arrived close to midnight and didn't book til 7pm. Cozy little cabin was just right — nice warm heater.

Great little town, clean and nice cabin style rooms, and best of all a very helpful and friendly man at reception.

Otorohanga Holiday Park is well served with excellent facilities, there are more than 2 level spaces for caravans without blood, Park, running to their heads, while you sleep, if you to the sounds of several freight trains per night on the Eastern sleep manage page or the murmur or many wagons on the North-West. The dirty toilets and shower areas are only available once per day and furhtermore cleaned only after many backpackers have on the task to the walls to urinate (assuming it was not the cleaners themselves). Our expirience was only through the experience that we had the encounter with the other people in the designated Smoking area is improved. My wife and our children came from Bavaria to expect at least minimal hospitality, but we only hostility received. I'm going to prefer, on the road, as this place again… make reviews of Lonely Planet is never easy, but since this gully was easy enough. Good day, the hear. Good luck for you who cant.

Stayed a few weeks ago, was a great price, the people were very nice and they had a fantastic gym. Loved our stay, and will be back again. keep up the great work.
