Although room was clean and serviced it had a smell of old socks. On trying to use the shower at bedtime, there was only one partly used body wash available and that only just made it for one person at a stretch. Ended up using my own soap to finish off the shower. On checkout, the receptionist was supposed to be there at 8.00am and at 8.05 the 4 people waiting to book out all left without paying over the counter. I was billed later in the day because they had taken my credit card details. They do not have Sky and the movies they claim are free are nearly impossible to find in the movie library. Most movies you have to pay for. Altogether a not so good stay. Will not stay there again.

The service was friendly and the room was clean with adequate kitchen and laundry facilities in the room. It was also quiet but within a reasonable distance to both a store and the eateries. The room was overly warm and the bed was too soft and I didn't get on with the pillows at all. After a long day all I wanted was a good night's rest and I found that hard to achieve.

Tidy, clean, modern, and well equipped. Not waterfront but handy to everything. Quiet and nicely presented. Good sized room. Will book again.

Stayed the weekend and think it's great. Price is good. Room is very clean and tidy. They provide everything in the room. Even cooking facilities and a washer dryer. Plus. AC! :D.

The room was so nice with a dishwasher, a stove top, a washing machine and a dryer in the room AND washing powder, dishwasher liquid and washing up liquid! The bathroom was clean and modern with great water pressure and hot water the beds were comfy and clean and a great night sleep. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone staying in Taupo.

I just love this hotel so much, very comfy very clean, they have kitchen and laundry in the room. Just feel like home. Reasonable price.

Clean, basic apartments that includes everything you need. Was a great place to stop by and do some laundry and things while exploring Taupo.

Comfortable bed, clean, nice sized bathroom. Couple things which would have been great — Sky TV, Free Wi-Fi (which had to be paid for! ) These are regular offerings at Motels these days, so I'm not entirely sure why they weren't at Quest Taupo. Rest OK.

This was home for the last 10 weeks and was satisfied with the clean rooms and very nice people at reception. There was no Sky cable and spa (as what some of the booking sites offered) so those are two things they can work on.

Very tidy, ALL the features you want + an oversized bathroom, Bluetooth radio supplied Full cooking amenities.

Nice room but has a bad smell, my friend and I stayed here for two nights after staying at another Quest hotel in Rotorua which was amazing but we found this paticular location a little lacking in comparison. Be warned that if you've stayed at other Quest hotels that this one charges for Wi-Fi, and almost all its movies. The hotel had a hot tub and pool right beside the parking lot and the room was very nice and clean but like I've stated before it has a very unpleasant odor; like fish. As others have stated before the hotel is very centrally located and is walking distance to most things needed in the town.

All you could possibly want and more! Brand new place with all mod cons would have liked to have stayed longer! A short walk to the Lakeside and all amenities.

Booked late afternoon, great communication once confirmed room available. Room was warm, clean. Great access to the pools hose needed to de-ice the car.

We bought the grabone deal worth 165$. Must say we were impressed with the rooms. it has everything one needs during their stay. Rooms are well furnished with a tv, a full kitchennet with vessels gas range, microwave, fridge, dishwasher. the bathroom has a washer and dryer for one to use. Was definitely a good stay. we are coming back.

Loved it very quite and rooms clean. Hosts very pleasant and welcoming would recommend to anyone staying in Taupo.

Had and excellent stay. Shanmu and Hema are fantastic. Room was lovely and clean and I enjoyed having the laundry facilities available inside the room. I will definitely stay again when I am in Taupo.
