Had so much fun staying at Kalldeen! Perfect location, so close to everything but far enough to experience a slice of farm life with friendly cows and alpacas on the property. The pool was absolutely amazing! And not to mention the private spa pool in the chalets Hosts Lynn and Wayne were very friendly! Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay here — such a lovely place to stay with luxury features. The bed was to die for and the spa was so relaxing! Hosts Lynn and Wayne were very friendly and helpful with plenty of recommendations for how to spend our long weekend. Definitely returning!

Loved it! Awesome room, loved the double shower and the hosts even let us feed the Alpacas. Close to top vineyards. Great experience and would recommend to all.

Fantastic hosts! I was here for a week and it wasn’t long enough! Lynn and Wayne left you to your privacy but were delighted to help when you asked. The property itself is spacious and finished immaculately throughout — really enjoyed a break away from the bustling of everyday life. My wife and I have stayed at Kalldeen 3 times… so far, and we'll go back every time we're in New Zealand. Incredible comfort in each room with exquisite attention to detail. Lynn and Wayne are fantastic hosts and they always make us feel like part of their family. We can't wait to go back.

My wife and I stayed here late March and had a fabulous stay with Lynn & Wayne who are great hosts. From the moment you arrive at Kalldeen entering through the automatic gates you know you have arrived at a seriously nice place. The surrounding orchards were full of fruit and the very feeling of back to nature you get when your are here is so peaceful. We would highly recommend this luxury accommodation for a decent break. We stayed in the Tuki Tuki suite and couldn't fault it. A visit to Mission Estate and Church Road Wineries is a must for great food and wine along with many more options. Gerard & Shirley.

Kalldeen is the most amazing place! The owners are so lovely and accommodating but also give you complete privacy. The property is incredible and extra amazing if you’re coming from overseas and want to experience New Zealand’s farm life on a mini scale. And the Chalet rooms are incredible! Really spacious and private and beautifully furnished and decorated. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

If 6 stars was an option, that's what I'd be rating this place. From arrival to check out, my partner and I received excellent service. Both hosts have extremely good interpersonal skills and are very welcoming. Upon arrival, we received a warm greeting, and we were promptly told that we had received a free room upgrade to one of their biggest suits; the room was outstanding and tastefully decorated with a chandelier and bar. The accommodation offers a tennis court, swimming pool, and nicely landscaped lawns, which are covered in a wide variety of fruit trees. Before leaving, Lynn and Wayne helped us to fill a bag full of plums and lemons from two of their many fruit trees. For anyone that is looking to relax and get away from the big smoke, I highly recommend this place!

We had the pleasure of spending two nights at Kalldeen over Labour Weekend. Lynn and Wayne are amazing hosts and their attention to detail is outstanding.
The accomodation is truly luxurious in the most beautiful Hawkes Bay setting.
Would highly recommend for romantic getaways, wedding accomodation, special events or just a well deserved treat.
