Go somewhere else. This place is dirty disgusting run down and certainly not recommended. We had executive suite on top floor. Noting executive about it. Advised them at check out and there was no reaction or response of any kind. Shocking for 400 a night.

Hotel, staff, amenities and room beautiful. Imaculately clean, attractive and chic styling. A comfortable & actually really gorgeous small boutique yet smart hotel. And wonderful staff. Ten out of 10. Merry Christmas.

Very helpful reception staff however dont hold your key card too close to your phone as this happens to disable the cards.

Not a good place at all… omg I can’t believe there are bed bugs in the hotel… very dirty and worse service ever.

Awesome apartments. All facilities available but good uphill climb if you walk downtown to eat.

Good location, staff very helpful. Bathroom a bit small. Could do with some modifications to bar and meal area. Otherwise nice place to stay. I think three star fits.

This is a hotel in need of some decent maintenance and an update and refresh. It feels run down and poorly maintained. Rooms are well laid out but too small and cramped. The bathrooms are tiny with barely enough room to move. The restaurant is also very small with no atmosphere. You would only eat here if you had to. Food is of average quality and overpriced. The bar is OK but small and expensive. The nearest other restaurants and bars are about a 15 min walk away. The gym is limited in its equipment with some missing or broken. Overall it's hard to find anything to recommend about this place other than the free Wi-Fi which works well.

Would have given 4 starts but the reception staff (or just one in particular) and the pillows and bed let the place down. good points are it is a modern hotel with great ambiance and reasonably clean, 2 bedroom apartment was a reasonable size nice furniture etc bad points are the elevator broke down while people were in it, stuck for 30 mins :O, the pillows are bloody hard as rocks! my word never had such a terrible pillow most hotels I go to are so fluffy and comfy. The bed wasn't much better either. Toilet door lock was broken which was an issue having 30 odd people in the room (hotel party) so lack of privacy in that department… most stand out bad point was the foreign receptionist needed to relax and smile more. Seemed a bit too much of a serious suzy and Nazi like and not friendly, of all staff the receptionist is the face of the hotel, usually the first face the guest sees so it is important they are approachable and friendly. not the worst place to stay but wouldn't go boasting about it to friends either.

Place was all we needed it to be. Close to the city. Not to expensive. Only there for a night had drinks at the bar but no food at the restaurant looked fine walking passed but was empty. I never eat at an empty restaurant. Room was clean. Bad shower for anyone over 6ft tall strange hotel layout really expensive parking.

The worst customer service ever. The receptionist, a short lady, whose attitude was totally unacceptable. She just looked down on me, did never smile and made no eye contact at all while I was trying to explain my request. I just wonder what customer service means to her. This experience completely ruined my wonderful stay at this hotel. Why would you hire staff who are the opposite of hospitable and welcoming? Would never ever come back unless they hire better staff.

Stayed here a couple of nights for work — the prices were bumped up because of an event in town so over $500 for two nights.
When arriving I was told there was no water in the hotel — another guest was trying to get the receptionist to understand that her hubby had a tummy bug and as the toilet wouldn't flush something needed to be done about it. They gave her two bottles of water. Nice.
Once I had checked in I was informed that room service food was available 24 hours and t…he restaurant was ready to serve me. Thats cool I thought — but having travelled a fair way & being unable to wash even my hands — I didn't really want to consider how the hygiene might be in the kitchen. To be fair, they did give me two bottles of water as well.
The room / suite was of a reasonable size but lacked a place to put my suitcase — so it ended up on the coffee table for the weekend.
With a bit of help from the team I managed to get the TV going — all it needed was new batteries in the remote.
I had all the windows open for the time I was there — as there was a wierd pervasive smell which I wasn't too keen on. The place didn't feel especially clean & the glass tabletops were kind of smudgey. The location is great, the bed was comfortable and the staff were lovely — although some of them didn't seem to speak much English — which I found less than ideal for front of house staff.

First thing I noticed was the toenail on the floor of my room, then the hair on the balcony, hard to believe but I think someone got a haircut out there and did a bad job cleaning up. Then they turn the water off between 9am to 5pm for maintenance. This of course went over time till 7:50pm. Even then, only the cold water came back on. No water means no shower, drinking water or toilet. They happily offered for me to use the toilet next door! If I was by myself I could handle it, but I have my 4 year old. This is easily the worst hotel experience I’ve had. Don’t stay here, even with water it’s an old hotel in need of a makeover and dirty. There’s other options out there so avoid this.

The room was very small, overpriced, had no cooking utensils but had hotplates, the washing machine was difficult to use and the hotel turned off the water for a whole day while we stayed. Staff were apologetic but didn't return calls. I suggest people look elsewhere for accommodation in Auckland.

Great hotel, lovely friendly staff. Our views were nice overlooking the harbour. Walking distance to sky tower and spark arena. Only negative was our milk and coffee station was not always topped up.

Welcome, we were able to leave our luggage and take a shower before checkin. The apartment was really nickel, all comfort. I recommend it.

The hotel staff do not make it easy for you. I called 3 different times to try to get a second bed or upgrade for my room. They told me to call back the next day. Then I called and they said they were going to work on it and it would cost $30 and to call back. Called back once more and they arranged it for $45 upgrade fee and I had to argue with them that they were being dishonest and making a hassle, they begrudgingly agreed on $30 as if they were doing me a favor, what? You literally made me call 3 to times and now you act like you're doing me a favor? To make matters worse I wanted to add someone to check in before me. I was told to email them the details rather than call. So I sent the email and got no response or confirmation. Then I called 8 hours later and they told me to email, so I told them I did and they finally agreed to add them to the guest list for a key, where I had to read off the name and spelling instead of them just getting it from the email they told me to send. To add more insult to injury, they couldn't find my reservation under my own name or my guest's name and insisted I call my guest to ask for the room number. What, don't you know that? After luckily running into my friend and getting the room number, I asked for a key for my reservation, they said they would be forced to deactivate my guest's key in order to produce mine. What? I'm going to bed and he's going to come late.

Room and restaurant were ok. It was just a hassle checking in without having a credit card for the bond. You also had to use the valet for your car which was a rip off at $45 then when we went to get something out of the car it was parked not far from a skip bin.

Great stay (although stayed through an airbnb reservation). Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, anytime you pass a staff member they smile or say hello. Wifi was one of the best connections i've had in a very long time, super fast! Sauna was out of order while I was there and the toilets in the gym were dirty and out of soap / paper towel. Great stay overall!

Amazing place. Great staff! Rooms are spacious with all appliances and clean. Hot tub, gym, excellent location to walk around Auckland.

Terrible. Small bathroom. Small room. Terrible tv. Smells bad. Tough beds. Ugly hotel. Everything so tiny. No relation quality with price.

This place is terrible. Doesn’t have anything fo cooking! My family stayed here, no oven trays, fry pans pots! Boosts about having a full kitchen?! For what exactly? Were given an oven tray with holes in it, smoke everywhere. Rang and got given one small fry pan, could cook anything in this kitchen. Extremely disappointed, don’t stay here. Highly do not recommend.

Have stayed here a couple of times and both times have been good. The views were really nice and the rooms were neat and tidy. Wifi wasn't great. The service was pleasant. I would stay here again.

The room has good space although bathroom is too tiny. Close to the university of Auckland. Would recommend to anyone who is going to visit the university.

Absolutely enjoyed our dinner here tonight. Compliments to your chef. My lamb was cooked perfect. And your desserts, Wow! I loved them :-D.

Disgusting unclean and unfriendly staff! For the price I paid im disgusted. Curtains in the room were filthy bed linen looked dirty, just not a very good experience! My friends also had dirty rooms too! Dont reccomend staying here at all!

It's rather apart — hotel, it has everything you need to be independent if you prefer to cook and do things in the room instead of going out to eat outside, close to downtown and located in a place without much car congestion.

You will experience the worst customer services from Quadrant Hotel. The receptionists were clueless and extremely rude (rolling eyes and just plain disrespectful). Also the "manager" had no idea of his job. Had to have raise my voices to get help. If you want poor hospitality services, go. It was terrible.

You will experience the Worst customer service. The reception is rude (all of them) as they roll their eyes in front of you instead of offering to help. People who work in the hospitality field has no intention of offering service for people who pay money to stay there. Had to get the manager and had no idea what to do. Thanks for the worst time of my life. Makes customers upset and angry instead of offering service. Do not go here and pay money wages for those rude reception people.

Poor customer service, horrible beds and sofa sleepers (ran out of rooms). Had our reservations wrong, awful rooms, and the sofa sleeper was so saggy I ended up sleeping on the floor! Not impressed at all, and I am not one to complain… will not be back. Not a good way to start out a 3-week vacation of a lifetime.

Good service. Decent rooms at a decent price. Not 5 star quality but good if you're looking for a place to stay after a night in the town.

No advertised public parking so ended up having to park on footpath and request valet service ($35! ) Upon arrival we were met with rude staff, finally got up to the room and there was marks all over the wall and a iron burn mark on the floor. Room was tiny as and 1 hot choc sachet for 2 people is ridiculous. Dinner was gross, staff were rude there too and when food arrived (pretty quickly) it was horrible, lamb shank tasted like it had been microwaved and butter chicken was… sickly sweet. Dessert arrived apple pie & choc mud cake was passable. Back to the room to watch TV and the Tv channels were all mucked up on wrong numbers and TV kept cutting in and out the whole time. Only came here coz we had a grab one voucher but will not be back, ridiculously expensive for sfa!

The room (s) were not cleaned well. The restaurant buffet breakfast was ordinary. The free Wi-Fi was a joke. The staff were happy and helpful, however, I would not stay there again.

Nice and calm hotell close to the city center! Got washing and dishingmachines in the apartments with free washer and dishing powder. Does not charge for coffee, tea and chocolate. The room was cleaned and service every day, even on weekends. And the jacuzzi was also nice and free to use! Staff was nice and helpful we even got our last breakfast in a doggy bag, when we needed to leave early for our flight.

Room was clean, but nothing flash feeling like a dorm apartment or bedsit. Bathroom was small but functional. Power points where in short supply unless moving furniture or trying to plug into the kitchen — not really the best in our electric hungry age. Staff were all very friendly and polite, which was great. Car valet service was good, although it wasn't the clearest when I was checking in how that was supposed to work as the front area was covered in taxi's. Restaurant for kitchen was very cramped and tiny, with guests needing to sit in the bar in order to get a table.

We were not offered the services provided by the Honey Moon but it does nothing.

Great customer service from beginning to end of stay. There was an issue with the booking initially from the site we used and it wasn't on their system for whatever reason. It was sorted out super quick and they upgraded our room for the inconvenience.
2 bedroom apartment was a good size! Clean throughout. Kitchen and laundry included. Only thing that my husband thought was a little small was the bathroom but the shower itself was a good size.
But the staff! Were SO polite, SO helpful and the customer service was top notch. Ayush in the bar (sorry if I've spelt that wrong). Was fantastic, polite and Made great drinks and once again… customer service was amazing.
Would definitely recommend.

Nice self contained rooms with kitchen and laundry. Staff and management very unprofessional and occasionally rude. Expensive car parking and noisy neighbours. Would be okay to stay for a couple of nights. But dealing with management as a resident in the apartments is annoying.

Room service was too expensive for the lack of quality and presentation of dishes. I had a ceasar salad and was not happy husband ordered a club sandwich and was just bland. Kitchen had some scratches on top bench, we had no TV remote, carpet needed vaccuming.

Bathroom was really small and food from the restaurant was not good at all. No extras in the room either no conditioner just shampoo? Could never get through to room service or front desk when ringing internally. Staff seemed unorganised. Will not be booking here anytime soon.

Average hotel for price (coupon from grabone), breakfast buffet was understocked food was very average too. Not used to Auckland hotel prices maybe?

Dirty room n building. Awful service since all the staff are Indians. Rude without any understanding. Building manager s a Indian guy, not racist but they are not helpful when need at all. Tv doesn't have sky, small as. I won't choose their room any more. At least me n my friends won't.

Our key in door didn't work the whole weekend! Room service was a joke with an excuse everytime we rang, worst of all the staff were so thick they couldn't answer questions or do anything out of the ordinary. Never again.

Staying in a privately owned suite which is quite nice. Limited harbour view, but a view nonetheless. Not for short stays. Would definitely stay here again.

Not bad hotel in the center of Auckland. Personnel was nice and helpful, but Valet parking was really expensive, and rooms are small.

Nice room, clean and tidy. Only let down is the lack of bedding — it was quite cold and the blanket could have been thicker or another blanket added. Overall, it was nice.

Very Noisy building and no control over discipline. This very hotel on 10 Waterloo quadrant, next to Pullmen, it has lot of noise issues. Hotel itself is occupied by lot of university students staying for long term and student rooms could be next or above Guest room, who do not care about guest living next to them are paying per day. Management doesn't care too. there is lot of ongoing issues we faced in our 3 days stay. Lot of machine vibrations noise, paid car park, dirty linen, noise noise and noise that's it! and management is no good. Looks like are are just hired unprofessional. If you call reception to check whats wrong no one turns up for like an hour. Highly disappointed! Looks like you are buying pain for yourself for couple of days.

I was met at check-in by a clearly irritable receptionist who was rude. The extortion they call parking fees was not pre-stated and when I complained, the receptionist got even ruder. The reception manager saved they day and was awesome in so many ways. The room aircon was broken, and had to be moved to a new room. The rooms are noisy and the hotel also has apartment residents living there so you often see bags of trash next to the elevator. The corridor carpet desperately needs cleaning. The little bar was nice and the bar staff really friendly and helpful. As for the breakfast, go to the Pullman next door or one of the cafes around the corner. The little room and treadmill and machine they call a gym is a bit of a joke. Check-out was just as bad. And when I asked for an invoice I got told to ask Wotif for the invoice. Hmmmm, thats never happened. I recommend not staying here.

Simple but clean and comfortable, very well equipped, a good place to stay if you don't need to stay for a long time, otherwise it's a little small.

This place is a gem, great helpful staff, very modern feel, with clean and well appointed apartment style rooms. TV reception in the room was pretty grainy, which is surprisingly common though.

Our experience wasn't the best. When we came into the room we noticed the toilet bowl had brown stains in it which wasn't appealing. We requested three times to have the brown removed but nevertheless we still had the brown toilet bowl. The room smelt like old smoke so we had to constantly had the balcony door open to be able to stand the smell in the room. Furthermore there was no air confronting so the balcony door also had to remain open to allow for a decent room temperature. It felt like we were constantly needed to contact the concierge regarding something: our keys not working; the remote not working; our bed not being made; etc. It was definitely more like a two star hotel. No way it can be a 4 star place.
