The staff are so friendly and helpful! spacious room and had a great nights sleep.

The Penthouse suite was amazing. Plenty of space for the kids and a nice large balcony to relax for an evening glass of wine. Staff were lovely and location was handy, large Cornwall Park being a nice surprise to be so close to. Great bathroom space for a family or group as well.

Surely this was a joke… On arrival the lady at reception was really friendly 10/10 here she said she has put us into an executive suite, really don't know what was executive about it although it was clean but really shabby and dilapidated, had windows on the ceiling with no curtains making sleeping very hard, bed was a small double and hard as bricks, bathroom was so old, towels also so old and grey looking I can go on and on and charged us the executive price I might add… Certainly would not be going back thats for sure, such a shame cause as I said the service was lovely.

Dated and gross. So glad my accommodation was free because I would have asked for my money back. It was hard to get into the drive because it's on a very busy main road. All the appliances were base line models. The bed was springy and hard. The bathroom was so dirty and there was mould growing all over the shower.

The only good thing about this place is that it was right next to where we had to go and not being from Auckland it was perfect. The bad thing about this place, our room had 2 coffee sachets, dirty sanitary items in the rubbish from previous guests (so room was not fully cleaned after them using it) empty shower products dirty cutlery, plates and rust in the salt & pepper shaker, our windows wouldn't close from the inside so my mother had to go out in the pouring rain to push them close, our fridge also leeked overnight so floor was covered in water in the morning. The staff behind the counter was told of all of these problems and her response omg that is disgusting were having trouble with cleaning staff i'm sorry but yet still had the audacity to charged us full price for a paru (dirty) disgusting room! what would you do if you had this room? highly recommend to NOT STAY HERE! the fair marking on this is totally incorrect!

Absolutely disgusting. 2 coffee sachets, dirty sanitary pads in rubbish bin, dirty cups, and rusty utensils and salt and pepper shakers. But wait, the worst is yet to come. Even though the owners agreed it was disgusting, they still charged full price for the room. I am not only disappointed in the standard of the room. But also the reply of the owners knowing full well they would not stay in a place like that themselves. Poor service, poor reply, poor standards. Highly recommend you DO NOT STAY HERE.

Conveniently located and relatively quiet, though there was a fair amount of noise outside at night. Free breakfast available downstairs, with charge-backs for food across the road. I couldn't get the free Wi-Fi to work.

NO AIR CONDITIONING! Completely unacceptable in Auckland's humid, sweltering summer temperatures. If you open windows, all the mosquitoes come in because the place is too cheap to get fly screens. There was a small portable fan, which did nothing. Shower was moldy. People were swimming in the pool, before the posted hours, making heaps of noise early in the morning. Bed was VERY old, definitely not for someone who needs a supportive mattress. Reminded me of a motel from the 70s. Very disappointed. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and the location is right across from Alexandra Park racetrack.

Great location, very help full staff, loved kicking back in pool with grandson, no street noise so good nights sleep. Could do with air-conditioning though.

After being badly let down on arrival at our pre-booked accommodation in Auckland a quick Google search and phone call to Parklane had our holiday back on track! Nothing was too much trouble, we settled straight in to our conjoined rooms, loved the pool, location, and all the restaurants close by especially the Alex bar/cafe. The warm and super friendly welcome sure made up for the odd lightbulb that needed the odd tweak. Beds made daily rubbish bins emptied and even our few dishes done was very much appreciated and something not many hotels, let alone motels seem to do. If you want hosts who go the extra mile stay here!

A bit of a time warp with regard to decor and fitout, but, clean, comfortable, good location, good parking, friendly, at a price we could afford. Yes, we will stay again.

Stayed here for big boys toys and loved it. Stayed in the penthouse suite and was quite spacious. A couple of problems with the unit but these were rectified very quickly and friendly by our lovely hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff are just great. Nothing is too much trouble. Quiet and getting good sleeps. Most enjoyable.

I totally recommend Parklane Motor Lodge to EVERYONE wow what a wonderful establishment. I recently was spoilt rotten staying in the Penthouse Suite for the weekend of Miss Universe NZ. The Tuua Family that Manage the Parklane Motor Lodge went over and beyond to ensure I was well looked after and had everything possible I would need plus some! I was fortunate to become Runner-Up Miss Universe NZ and I was honestly so spoilt and treated like a celebrity. The Parklane Motor Lodge has now become My and My Families "Home away from Home". 100% recommend to all.

The sevice there was amazing staff were very pleasant and very helpful. The room I occupied was very tidy. Thank you to The staff at Park lane.

Thanks heaps for the room at late notice. On a busy night with the Adele concert and more stuff on in auckland. Only gave it a 3 because of the the paint on the light shades and the stains on the bed cover and curtains and the dust on the ceiling fan. But over all was a nice freindly place to stay. Thanks again.

If your not too fussed on looks then this place is ok. The rooms are not that modern with average furnishings and a small kitchen area. Family room has a big outdoor balconey area which I thought was great. Other than that, very average accomodation but ok.

We have just spent the last 4 days at Parklane motor lodge Greenlane, very impressed!
Rooms where tidy and clean, well stocked, service and staff super fabulous and the grounds impressive, the handy location to anything we needed was a bonus and the Managers super helpful and accommodating when we needed anything.
Many thanks for our lovely carefree stay :)

Have stayed here twice each time it has been excellent. Nothing is to much trouble and the hosts absolutely brilliant Won't hesitate to stay again cheers.

The outside was nice. We had a penthouse room it wasn't the one I booked in person 3 days earlier we were given the otherside meaning we now had no sun. Defeats the point of booking in person. It looked like it needed a good clean the bedding was tired and the curtains too, couldn't get the TV to work or the sky. And the toilet was absolutely unusable too small. But what was worst was the public service by the staff especially the heavy set female who used lame excuses and big words to cover up her unprofessional attitude. I was accused of eating a pack of peanuts which I never touched to be honest I was over this place and was happy to pay for peanuts I didnt eat I just wanted to leave. I won't be returning. Yes it's in a handy location but as far as customer service and cleanliness go they have a lot to learn. My advice would be avoid this place your money could be better spent on a nicer room with quality service.

It's a good thing this motel has a good location and ample free parking. The noise level is very low so that we had a good sleep, however the pillows were awful and the room was average. We have stayed there several times before, but this time our door was knocked on right on 10:00am and we were told it was 10 am and when were we leaving? We were almost ready to exit the room, but found this quite intrusive. The staff were not friendly at all.

Nothing. Room was shabby. Noisey from air conditioning and something else. No body wash in shower and shower was useless. Bedding left a lot to be desired and cold.

We were displeased by our stay at this motel. The shower head was moldy, the comforter on our bed had several stains, the building was difficult to navigate — we still never found where the pool was located. The hotel is located by the Alexandra Park which is very far from downtown. We were told by hotel staff that to walk in the area is "not a safe place to walk. " It was very hot and humid during our stay and so we sweat throughout the day and throughout the night making it very uncomfortable. The bed was also pretty hard. There is a kitchenette to make coffee and tea as well as many goodies for purchase. The advertisement for this motel was inaccurate noting that guests received free Wi-Fi. You only get 2 hours of free Wi-Fi per room. The older couple operating the front desk were very nice and helpful.
