Crown Plaza is a modern bizz hotel in the centre of Auckland. If you booked a club room you have access to club lounge on 28th floor. Morning breakfast and evening cocktails with a stunning view.
Rooms are spacious. Beds are very comfortable.

Had our company awards night here. Venue was cozy, comfortable and clean. Catering was yummy and delicious. Good quality food.

Really clean, wonderful place to stay. Got room service and then after an hour I got a call to see how I rated the meal and was it all ok?! The sleep spray they leave in the room on the bed is magical!

Absolutely loved it! Amazing room! Amazing view! Awesome staff! We were so well taken care of. Our breakfast was so so awesome, a huge variety! Within walking distance of many awesome eaterys and sites. A great bonus, the Sky tower is right there. Would stay here again and again. Highly recommended.

Nice and comfortable place to stay. The hotel is located in the centre of the city close to Auckland sky tower. Convenience store is at a walkable distance from the hotel. The breakfast spread is also very good. Maybe the hotel is very popular, that was why the hotel was very crowded. But still since the restaurant was a huge one, anybody who walks in could find place to sit.

We made an awesome choice for our stay in Auckland. The Crown Plaza was wonderful. The location was great. The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful.

Beautiful place to stay for holiday. Close to everything. Staff were so friendly and accommodating especially the manager. Their breakfast was so delicious and the chef will cook something if you have severe aĺlergies. Well done guys and thumbs up to everyone there.

Let me start by saying the location is fantastic, and the staff are friendly and helpful. My stay was overall pleasant and good. One small thing I can't get past though. There was a brown smear on the toilet button in my room, and well there's really only one reasonable assumption as to what it may have been. I cleaned it off myself rather than bother housekeeping with it, but wven for such an easily overlooked thing I can't help but think that they really should have noticed it. I mean, I certainly did right away. I'm willing to consider it a one-off oversight, but still, it made an unfavorable impression on me. That REALLY should have been caught when they were cleaning the room after the last guest (or however many it may have been there for). Putting that aside as much as I'm able to, the hotel was fine otherwise.

This has been a fantastic hotel experience. The staff have done a fantastic job of looking after our team as we stayed at the hotel for several days for meetings. The function rooms were fantastic. The hotel beds were absolutely incredible and soft offering a great night sleep. There were so many pillows to choose from! The best part about our whole experience was the buffet breakfast. Overall, I can't wait to return to stay here again.

Best hotel my family has ever stayed at and will definitely stay there again when in Auckland. Buffet breakfast is the best thing ever. Not over exaggerating. Has a fresh juice press and such a great variety of yummy foods. The only thing was the omelette station guy on the morning of Saturday April 14 was RUDE as heck so I just went with scrambled eggs and they were yummy. Enjoyed great cocktails in the lounge by really polite and lovely bar staff. The beds were dreamy after sleeping in an RV all week and they supplied us with a cot for the baby with was very helpful and the overall room and bathroom were luxurious. Lastly they were so helpful with organizing a shuttle to the airport the next morning saved us a lot of money and hassle. Thanks Crowne Plaza :)

Expensive and old. This place is tired and needs an upgrade to legitimately claim to be a premium hotel. The rooms especially have old decor. I was with a group staying there in warm weather and the air conditioning was unable to drop room temperatures to a comfortable level. This should be your last chance place to book if desperate as there are a number of newer, nicer and cheaper places quite close. Unfortunately Auckland can be difficult to find rooms so book early!

Nice place. Didn't stay there, went to a seminar there. They have a public car park and if you spend $10 or more at any shop in the atrium on Elliott you get a discount on your parking which just so happens to be $10. Like any paid car park the longer your parked the more it's going to cost, all day parking is $34. They have a food hall. Try the Thai. We also had lunch in the restaurant which was like a buffet and quite nice. There's other shops as well, hairdresser, a cool knick knack shop. We also got tea, coffee, iced water, savories and cakes for morning and afternoon tea which would have been paid by the organizers of the seminar. I imagine the rooms would be flash because the rest of it is quite classy.

Room was clean with two comfortable queen beds. Air conditioning worked well even during a heat wave in Auckland. On site restaurant was solid but very pricey.

The rooms are very nice, modern, and clean. It's a quick walk to the harbor, a corner store, and the train station. No pool on site and the restaurant is rather expensive.

The Crowne Plaza is an excellent hotel. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. But… everything has a but. Bathrooms have shower curtain instead of screen, which is unthinkable and unhygienic. It is not advised that movies on TV, have extra cost to check Out. And they automatically charge on the card that one informs for the guarantee, the expenses of stay without asking if one wants to pay in cash. It has No pool but a gym and sauna. Are things to improve.

Good location with spacious and clean rooms. Good service from the staff. Located above a shopping arcade with food and stores. Less than 100 m to Sky Tower. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Within walking distance of the harbor, university, and numerous parks. Highly recommended.

Nice Clean Rooms. Pretty good service. One of the best hotels in town. Nice cozy bars and restaurant inside. In the middle of the city. Sky tower is right next door and market is on 1st floor. There is a huge foodcourt available too under the hotel.

Staff are helpful and knowledgeable, area is clean, though the reception is next to the commercial & restaurant area so can be quite busy at times. Lots of conferences and events are held here, unfortunately their catering is just average compared to their competitor across the street. Their entrance is often packed with parked & waiting cars often are blocking the entrance to the carpark — and none of the hotel staff told those cars off.

Room is large and very clean, has awesome view. Sheets are amazing which makes a big difference. Staff are the most friendly I've ever encountered at a hotel. Would be more than happy to stay again.

Clean and quiet hotel with large comfortable rooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. I love the location, you can walk to the harbour in about 10 minutes and be among a huge selection of eating and drinking establishments.

A very pleasant stay. The room eas comfortable and clean, the location was excellent with heaps of nice eateries nearby. The staff were amazing and kind. Our only issues were our room being a little noisy at it was next to the elevator shaft and being charged a fee to have our room service tray retrieved. Otherwise we were very happy. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived every single staff member was amazing. The room was perfect. Service was spot on. Couldn't ask for better. Would recommend to anyone.

Stayed here for 3 nights and was very pleased to start our new Zealand trip here. We arrived at 8 am and they were able to get us into a room right away, a huge bonus for our jet lagged family with 3 kids. We loved being so central to everything and walked to the sky center, sky tower, maritime museum, art museum and more with ease. It was a block away from the skybus drop-off, which helped as well.

The dinner I was served was inedible. The much admires NZ lamb was tough and gristly. I had to survive on just the kumara and kale as I couldn't even cut the meat. No apology was given; no alternative meal offered. Very, very poor, Crowne Plaza.

Well the hotel was really nice but staff at front counter were not. They have a policy where you have to pay the $100 when you book in and they put this on your credit card in case you drink from the fridge in your room or any of the other things that they put in your room. They then refund this $100 when you book out. Well I booked out this morning and surprise surprise I still have not had a credit of $100 showing on my credit card. They are quick enough to take it from you but not to reimburse you. This is a stupid policy for a one night accommodation, why put this through on your credit card only to refund it (supposedly) the next day, what a waste of time. I will wait.
Until tomorrow and if it is not in my account I will be getting in touch with them that is for sure.

Lovely hotel, lovely location and lovely staff. From check-in to breakfast to checkout, all the staff members were helpful and pleasant to deal with. There was a waiter at breakfast whose name I forgot, but he was very good with my children as he was engaging in conversation and doing magic tricks for them! Moe the porter was very nice too. After helping with the luggage (5 suitcases) he didn't expect a tip, so when I gave him one, he was extremely grateful. Nice to know that the staff at Crowne Plaza aren't only helpful for tips. Top class service.

Very nice main room with new TV good bed. Nice views from the rooms, very friendly staff. Fast Wi-Fi. Breakfast very good and recommended. Bathroom would need an update though. Still 5 stars in my opinion!

Even though I have not personally stayed there myself, I booked accomodation for my 67 year old mother and 14 year old son and the messages and the conversations I have had with them both while they have been staying there have been wonderful.
Your staff is welcoming and extremely helpful.
The room they were given on the 19th floor is exquisite and more then they expected.
For my sons first ever international holiday, the four days they will be spending with the Crowne Plaza has definitely been a highlight.

I'm Platinum IHG so I stay in CP's all the time. This one I'm not yet convinced about, even after my 4th visit. No upgrade offered (no not being a snob — they are supposed to do this on my status), not even really acknowledged as a Platinum member. Room ok, but not what I had requested. Room servicing — sorry but you need to take away the dirty glass I used last night, throw away the newspaper on the floor next to the bin, properly clean the room, put away the ironing board that I left up when I left this morning. Small things make big differences. The room is very good otherwise, and the staff are excellent, I'm just disappointed about a few things that other CP's do very well — check ADL, MEL, BKK. Great hotels usually deliver customer satisfaction at a high level across the board.

I loved the stays I've had at the Crowne. The staff are always professional and friendly, the rooms are tidy, clean, and have everything you need to be comfortable, and the food is great! 5/5, would most definitely stay again.

Very expensive for lonque offer. You do not have free Wi-Fi! Only half an hour. The bathroom is. Mediocre. Good breakfast and the staff quite well. The view of the room I got was horrible.

Great staff and hotel. This is my preferred place to stay whenever I'm travelling to Auckland.

One of female staff or manager was very rude, asked for a small favor and her attitude was very unwilling.

B nice hotel. The window can see the Sky Tower! Breakfast, 35, New York currency, per person, slightly expensive. But close to lots of food.

Had things stolen from my room. Even after hotel staff identified that the cleaner had been in room over the time things went missing they were unwilling to address the issue. They said I probably misplaced the items. I didnt. Horrible experience. Cost me a lot.

Well situated. Short walk to the harbour precinct and sky tower. Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient parking in the adjacent public parkade. $24/day or $10/day on PH. Get your ticket validated at the front desk. Well equipped gym. Room was clean but curtains and carpets need a redo. Bathroom was old and tacky — shower curtain in bath! Overall well priced.

You'll find really great service here and the location is close to the art galleries, banks, cafes, shopping and the wharf. The room itself wasn't as modern as some of the good hotels in Melbourne (Park Hyatt, Intercontinental and Crown) and the room furniture seems somewhat old and worn. Getting a free upgrade to a club room (including free breakfast and drinks/canapes in the club lounge) was a nice treat.

Great location in downtown Auckland. Great breakfast. Biggest selection for breakfast buffet I've ever seen. Amazing views underneath the needle.

Just got back to Aust after a final night in N Z at Crowne Plaza Auckland, stayed there last year and loved it, had another fabulous stay this time. Offered a special rate as a Priority Club member and chose a Queen Room on 28th floor. Only down side was the noise from staff in room next door preparing for breakfast in the club lounge. Staff very efficient and helpful. I was able to manage the sound system and the T V easily, not usually my forte! Loved the furniture the bed was fantastic, and there was the biggest shower I have ever seen and a huge bath what a plus.
