➜ On and in this hotel, almost everything is top! There's not much to complain about. Exception: In this unusually hot summer, we were not able to stay in our room for more than a few minutes during the day. Due to the lack of air conditioning, it was hotter than outside the door.
Otherwise everything is great: breakfast, friendliness, location, facilities, ambience. First-rate!

We spent a very nice long weekend at Hotel de Waal. The welcome was warm and familiar. We felt immediately comfortable and welcome. The room was big enough for 2 people and the bathroom had a large shower. Everything was very clean and tastefully decorated.
The breakfast was prepared after prior order, in the morning lovingly in an open wooden box, which was then placed on a small order table next to his breakfast place. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Extra requests are gladly addressed here. We would like to come back and thank Maarten for the nice time! Best regards… Norbert and Jenny.
