Lovely location in nature, fabulous walks in the woods and along the beach. Had a great weekend with a big group for a birthday party — the owners /management were so friendly and accommodating. Zero complaints there. But. The walls of the lodge are paper thin so you hear absolutely everything going on in the lodge, outside, upstairs, next door, in the hall… Also the doors are made of glass which meant the motion-sensor light on the hall shone into our room everytime anyone walked past throughout the night. Had some unpleasantness with some other guests making a fire and playing loud music right outside our window at 3am too. Plus the mattress I had was curved like a hammock… So didn't get much sleep. Still, really liked the place and had a wonderful weekend anyway.
We had the most brilliant time at Folkhegeskoalle. It was my 50th birthday party and people were coming from all over Europe. Amarins and her team were amazing. They looked after us so well. The place is perfect, an idyllic setting in the middle of the woods but in walking distance of the beach, they have a fantastic communal area with a big log fire, and the food is sublime! I could go on but I fear that I would run out of superlatives. An enormous thank you to Team Folkshegeskoalle for making this party one of the best weekends of my life EVER.

Very friendly reception and spacious grounds. We had rented a bunk bed room for 3 people and received a full room with 7 beds. They said they always provide groups their own room in the summer. The toilet and washing area was good, but shower was a bit old and dirty and could use renovation. At breakfast they provide wide choice of food and hou even got bags to make your own lunch packs for they day. Very affordable and friendly near by the beach.
