This was a wonderful and modern hotel! Check-in was great. The room was excellent. There was tea and coffee in the room, excellent shower and wonderful views. The beds were very comfortable. The bar has a snooker table and table football! The hotel is situated 10 minutes easy walk to the station and the centre of Amersfoort. I would certainly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure. Thank you!

It is a very good hotel in city center of Amersfoort. Just 15 minutes walk from train and bus station. I really like the location because it is near to restaurant, cinema, gym and old part of the town which there are so many place to hangout with your family, colleagues, and friends. The room is big enough for me and the bathroom also clean and modern. They also serve laundry. This is my 2nd visit and would live to stay again in this hotel on my next visit.

Hotel is okay but parking is totally overpriced.

Very nice hotel, easy to reach. Rooms very nice, if it should be something better. Culy cabinet in the room, breakfast not used. Multi-storey car park not necessary, free seats in the immediate vicinity. Check-in in German was not possible (? ), never experienced in the Netherlands. About 35 min drive to Amsterdam.
Book if the price is right.

A good comfortable tourist and business friendly hotel within walking distance of Amersfoort Centraal. Pros: — Department stores like Albert Heijn and Dirk are a stone's throw away, so grocery shopping is easy — Wi-Fi is good -Staff is very responsive. Had to drop an email for refund of security deposit but they responded immediately Cons: — Carry your own bedroom slippers, they charge 50 cents per pair of slippers — If you are vegetarian, there are limited breakfast options, particularly if you don't eat eggs. Orange juice, fruits, breads and croissants are standard though — Carry soap and shampoo, as the quality of soap in the dispensers isn't great. — No dental kit or shaving kit provided.

We were there just for one night and it wasn't in our plans. Our train stopped in Amersfoort and couldn't continue because of a storm so we had to stay there. The room was super nice and had a big and beautiful bathroom. The stuff were really helpful: they were always checking information about whether there was going to be trains the next day or not and tried to help you with that.

The hotel was excellent! The staff is very accomodating, very helpful. I enjoyed my stay in the spacious and very clean rooms. I definitely recommend it.

Overall, the hotel made a very good impression. The staff were always friendly, adrett and groomed. The premises were chic, modern and clean. I was in a Privileged Room that left few wishes unfulfilled, multimedia facility, Wi-Fi, super-great bathroom, great views from the 10th floor, all pretty new and topmodern. The location of the hotel is great, our conference location was almost across the street and the old town 15 minutes away on foot. Minus points for paid parking (or is that normal? ) and the safe in the room was just too small for my 15, 6 "notebook.

Very good hotel, friendly staff and beautiful rooms. In the same building is also a Burger King, Aldi, gym, etc. :)
2 minutes from the hotel is a media market and other shops such as KFC and shopping opportunities can be reached within walking distance in just under 10 minutes.

Superb bathrooms and nice location. Breakfast leaves something missing and the lack of umbrellas to borrow should not be happening at a four star hotel.

Less than 1km walking distance from Amersfoort Train Station. Nice and clean rooms. Definitely a must stay hotel.

Nice hotel with nice rooms. Staff are helpful but not to friendly. Rooms are good but double beds have single sheets on the for some strange reason. Breakfast was OK but wasn't well stocked.

We stayed the night after our wedding with a group of 30 people. The hotel reached out to us 2 weeks in advance to address our request for having breakfast as a group, and arranged a separate area where we could do this. Thumbs up for this service! The room itself is quite spacious, and both the furniture and bathroom are very modern. Breakfast was the well-known breakfast of fresh orange juice, pancakes, croissants and a wide variety of toppings. There is plenty of parking space underneath the hotel, and they offer a good rate of €5 per day. All-in-all we had a great stay, and would definitely recommend.

Location is near the center, about 10 minutes walking. The rooms are spacious. The beds are too hard for my liking. Showers are big. Overall, very nice.

Hotel is ok. Breakfast: every slice of cheese, every slice of sausage is wrapped up in plastic under the pretence "fresh for you". This results in a lot of waste and is contrary to the environmental friendliness the hotel wants to have.

All in all a very pleasant stay with new large rooms.

It had the facilities you would expect from a hotel for the price paid but nothing extra. A decent bed, shower, hairdryer, nice view and a bible for the religious. I'd go back if I needed a hotel and it was convenient, but not go out of my way for it.

Good value, I stayed in a huge room complete with spa bath, however food choices and service poor as often seems to be the case with Mercure properties.
