Great experience and nice views✊🏾

We spent a night in one of their suites so it was perfect. Great experience, delicious food for good prices and it was a lot. Due to corona restrictions could not use the facilities but for sure we will next time. For now we enjoyed the room. Nice and friendly staff.

Very nice hotel, surrounded by amazing green scenery, courteous and friendly staff, great buffet choices served in a well organized restaurant area. We stayed in a spacious room with a small terrace overlooking the bank of a small river and trees. Would have loved to receive slippers and bathrobes too — but things can always be improved — and the fact that you have free access to sauna (both wet&dry), indoor pool and gym is a big bonus.

Great experience, but not all of the faucets in the ladies room worked and some of the vegetables in the salad bar were dried out, so not perfect. The food was great though and I enjoyed it a lot.

Good hotel, nice rooms. Good breakfast and good kitchen. And I am not easily pleased.

Food was good. People were nice. They made a small mistake we did not really care about but still gave us free drinks to compensate.

Get a map to go to your room, it's a maze! Beds are too soft, cold decoration in room… Did not click for this hotel. The 2 stars are for the fantastic breakfast buffet.

Één van de fijnste van der Valk hotels tot nu toe in Nederland. De locatie is wat afgelegen, maar dat wisten we van te voren. We hebben voor het eerst onze hond meegenomen en dat ging hier prima. De achterdeur, het buitenzitje en de tuin zijn erg fijn. Alles is erg goed rolstoeltoegankelijk ook! Het enige minpunt is dat het bad niet schoon was, dit heb ik aangegeven en zou schoongemaakt worden, maar is niet gedaan. Toen ik met het uitchecken aangaf dat het alsnog niet gedaan was en ik het zelf gedaan heb, werd me verteld dat het jammer was en ik het opnieuw had moeten aangeven.

Rooms are large and well equipped, great choice of food, I especially enjoyed breakfast. The restaurant can get busy in the evenings but there is always space to dine. Location is pretty good with Alkmaar close by and Amsterdam only a short drive.

Everything perfect except temperature in the room a little limit and soundproofing non existent.

This hotel is very close to a highway. There is swimming polo, sauna and fitness room. Breakfasts are cery good and tasty. There is also a restaurant and bar.

Nice place, but be beware that they put a block on your card for the room rate and an extra amount when you arrive.

Good food, nothing fancy. The personnel are very attentive. Great place to have a diner with a big family. They are used to kids running around.

Live dining gedaan. Het is een variatie van alle bestaande all you can eat eetschuren, niet de beste maar ook niet de slechtste. Goede variatie van gerechten. Veel vis maar de sushi viel tegen, kleine keus en weinig smaak. Veel vlees, van draadjes vlees tot carpaccio, biefstukjes, lam, kalf, kip, Chinese gerechtjes, soep, groenten, snackbar eten en veel toetjes. Het grootste nadeel hier is dat je niet zelf je drinken kan pakken/halen en het duurt best lang voor je kan bestellen en het uiteindelijk krijgt.

Breakfast very good, dinner a la carte surprisingly cheap, great salad bar, food great, great location, clean and nice rooms! But had a room with a long walk. Overall we were very satisfied.

Had a lunch on Sunday. Good food and fast service. However paying took a long time.

Always happy. Including. Especially the ' wellness ' area has been renovated in class. Great location for cycling tours (Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Beach…). Like all v. D. F. Right on the highway, but real class. You get almost nothing with it.

Super clean hotel, high level of comfort, very good breakfast and dinner, but unfortunately very long ways from the entrance to the room.

Location is on point but the exterior looks a bit bland. Stayed for lunch which took longer than needed. Service was adequate but nothing special.

Really Chicks Hotel and a super breakfast buffet. Rich and varied.
A star deduction, because on the balcony there were hair-tufted rum and one in the bathtub.

Good service, lively atmosphere, average food. This is a big enterprise with lots of visitors, so groups should make a reservation. Suited for little kids as well as grandma/grandpa.

Very nice Hotel, all most of the staff were very friendly. I do not like to say but, The men waiters in the lounge /bar were on the rude side. They did make us English speaking people feel welcome. We felt like they did not want to serve our table.

We absolutely loved staying in this hotel. It's safe to say it was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. The spa and pool area is clean and the kids had a great time in the pool. The breakfast is very good with lots of choice. The rooms are huge and very clean. The staff are very friendly and took the time to converse in Dutch with my children as well as speak English to me. Free parking and free Wi-Fi.

Kerstbrunch gedaan. Allemaal heerlijke gerechten, warm en koud, in overvloed. Ook dranken (koffie, thee en sappen) zaten bij de prijs in. Kortom, een fantastische 3 uur beleeft!

Fantastic Hotel and crew.

A great Hotel with friendly staff. The room was clean and so cozy, that I no longer wanted to get out. Also, the highway does not interfere.
