Reviews of Botel 3*
Very nice place to stay, friendly and helpful staff.
The breakfast is amazing and the rooms while compact (it is a boat) are cute and bed is so comfortable.
Despite the limited space in the rooms, especially the bathrooms are very cramped, a great place for a short break in Amsterdam. Everything was clean, the staff very nice and friendly. The breakfast is sufficiently good. If the ferry has made its last trip to the main station shortly before midnight, it is also nice and quiet until morning. We are very happy to come back. 😊
Stayed for 3 nights… and I have to say… great there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean. Bathroom a bit tiny, but it's enough.
Superb location, ease of free shuttles to Central Station and nearby public parking.
The staff is helpful, smiling and welcoming.
Unusual place, with excellent value for money and a hearty and complete breakfast.
Location is great. With the ferry where is also free you can get everywhere. However, 😃 rooms are not so clean.
Its lovely. The room is so clean and comfortable. I love the way the bar area is set out and all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is optional for an extra price and I am going to sample it this morning. There is a free ferry that transports you to within easy reach of Amsterdam's main attractions and this all adds to the experience.
I thoroughly recommend staying here.
Warm welcome. It's clean nothing to say.
Hello, <
We went to Botel 3 nights, this hotel is not top at all! A mini bathroom, the toilet is almost in the shower! There is barely 1.5 square meters in this shower.
There is no hair dryer, no fridge, nothing at all. <
We can have a hair dryer, a kettle etc but giving each time a deposit of 10 euros before!
Besides what they did not tell us what to ask for us to come change our towels and clean our room because we are in Covid period!
The women of works that we meet in this hotel do not even know how to say hello!
I do not recommend this hotel because really rooms without any comfort! <
The ferry to cross is great, there is one every quarter of an hour or half an hour but you have to be back before midnight because after you have to take a taxi or walk more than two hours to return to the hotel! <
Now everyone his way of thinking! <
We are really not difficult people but there is really abuse! <
We left on June 23, 2021 and there were no animations!
Beautiful and quiet good rooms and romance.
Super location and friendly staff. From botel you can easily get to the train station and the city centre with the shipyard.
For little money a good hostel (y) absolutely friendly staff and well connected by ferry to the train station.
by me 5 out of 5 stars.
The only place I stop when visiting. Fantastic location, different, clean, chilled & never forgotten. I’m old enough to remember it’s old location & before the letter rooms.
Botel’s bad customer service has gotten worse. It did not seem possible. Customer Service is completely non-responsive. Normal tasks like arranging an early check-in are completely beyond their capacity. They are no longer a bargain. I truly hoped things had improved in the two years since I was last here. Lesson learned—never again.
Great location, pleasent atmopshere.
Great location, comfy great breakfast and free ferry crossings.
Great location and friendly staff.
Lovely place to stay first night we took the wrong ferry the people in Amsterdam are friendly told us where to go and as soon as we walked into the hotel the staff made us feel welcome. Room is a decent size for 2 people and clean, great view out our window and ideal when we wanted to get the ferry back and too we could see it through are window. Would stay again.
Very cozy clean, the council and I hope to go back.
… easy access from train station… quiet and cheap place.
Helpful staff, clean rooms and a great terrace at the back.
Nice an cheap very helpful staff.
Comfortable enough but the bar staff are great and it is a lovely location on the water and very accessible to town centre very easy! Would definitely come back.
Lovely botel and lovely friendly staff. First time staying here and just came home yesterday, definitely would stay again. If going Amsterdam you should definitely stay on this for the experience.
Amazing service and location. Love from India.
Great place to stay. Ferry over and back added to experience ❤️
Very good location, nice breakfast, room very clean. Friendly staff.
only one thing… can you please leave a drinking water for your guests.
I've stayed here 5 times, they've really started to update the place. Rooms just need a fridge. Good location, friendly staff.
Very cool place to stay for a good price. The free ferry service to central station itself was a great experience So u can enjoy a cruise every time u want to go to the city and come back. Plus there's a couple of restaurants near. We will definitely come back <3
Just got back from 2 night stay in the Botel, rooms clean, although no tea or coffee provided very basic, excellent scenery, free ferries every 15 mins, breakfast adequate & hot, good bar & staff friendly, what more do you want, would go again.
Lovely place to stay and not too expensive. The staff was very friendly we were able to check in before check-in time and we left our luggage in the storage room while we went to explore the city until the room was ready. The room was very nice and cosy and the bed comfy. Breakfast was good too. Our room was river facing and though the ferry was going by so often it did not disturb us at all. It's definitely a lovely place and something different to add to the Amsterdam experience. I would highly recommend.
Cheap and cheerful. Cabins on the small side but I had a cabin to myself. Cleaners working 7 days a week. Breakfast was alright. Bed was comfortable. Staff very helpful. For a weekend in Amsterdam I would definitely stay again.
I'm glad I tried it out, just for the sake of the experience — but unlikely I'll go back in the summer. The room was extremely hot. The only way to deal with it was to leave the door open to allow cross-ventilation from the window. Of cos, I couldn't leave the door open all night! But good view of the water from my window and the staff were really nice.
Stayed with a friend for a few days. Great location for getting into Amsterdam via the free ferry. Staff were all really friendly, spotlessly clean and good breakfast. Bathrooms small but expected on this age of boat and fine for what we needed. Cabin beds were comfy and will definitely stay again :)
The Botel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was let down by the noisy plumbing and poor soundproofing which stopped us from having a decent night's sleep. The rooms were small and basic but this was to be expected. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of it and the views across the river were great while we ate. Easy access to the Ferry which runs regularly too! A fun and very affordable experience but not for those who want comfort and perfection!
Very pleasant place, polite staff, clean rooms and great views from the windows. Had a great 2 nights stay here and would recommend it to anyone staying over in Amsterdam. It is very easy to find the Ferry from the Central Station, keep left, and if I'm sure, the Ferry is 24 hours. Food is good, coffee is good and serenity of the Jetti is off the charts. Went to promote my Tabs & Ganj novels, but instead promoted Evermore instead. But all good in the end.
Lovely and clean, really friendly staff. Great location. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I asked for a family room. We had 2 bunk beds in a tiny room, it was boiling hot, and I'm disabled and really struggled getting in and out of the bed. Shame really. Was good value for money, but wished I'd have had 2 twin rooms instead.
A botel like many (hotel on a boat), a bit expensive the we (rates are on a net rise), otherwise we found a clean room but a little small, especially the shower room. Small flat, during our stay it was very beautiful, and, when we returned the night falling, the warmth was very important in the room, noted that there is no TV program in French. Side breakfast, nothing to say, it was perfect. Reception and different service depending on the contact person. Presence of a bar and games. The good point is the accessibility by the ferry (free) from the central station at regular frequencies (including the night, attention, the hours are different for weekdays, Friday and Saturday, the shuttle runs to 02h45, The starting point is located behind the station, the landing is 150 meters from the hotel.
Were there for 2 Days. Breakfast is adequate, Eggs, Toast, Bacon, Sausages. Had 1 dirty Towel hanging and also had to pull off 1 Star. Clearly the Rooms are very small but it is enough. The worst were the Beds, 5cm Mattress and above the Back there was a Board in the Bed, such Backs had been In pain. The View was very nice. By ferry you Were fast in the City over.
Close to the center. Noisy. On the ground floor… But the convenient location.
A bit noisy depending on the location of the rooms and Toilelles a little Aixigu.
Car got broken into… Don’t drive/park your car near the Botel! Friends and I drove from Germany and parked at the pier where the Botel is docked. There was a lot of broken glass in the car park, and we prepared for the worst: took all the valuables out and put some things in the trunk. Sure enough found the next morning someone had broken out our rear window and tried to access the trunk. There were multiple cars that had got broken into that night and it looked like all of them were from countries other than the Netherlands. The Botel staff were really friendly and very helpful. It’s not the nicest place in the world but a unique experience and would recommend. Just find a more secure place to park. There is also a free ferry that goes to/from the central train station every half hour or so, which is very convenient!
We asked for a double bed and got a room with two single beds. No discount, no apology or ability to change. The rooms are cheap for a reason. Don't expect much. Breakfast is a total sh! tfight, just skip it. On the plus side it's only 15 mins from Central via free ferry and they have free hardcore porn on the tiny in room TV.
On the other side of the red light, but with free ferries. Nice quiet place. With good breakfast.
I loved it! Easy to come and go with free ferry. Room and clean towels every day. Room with TV and hot shower. It is small but for hiking and returning rendered it is cozy. Reception 24 hrs and bar with good music. I recommend taking breakfast. They have a bit of everything and after seeing the prices of the center is highly recommended. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area is safe and the views are different. I would return without hesitation.
The amenities of a boat hotel but a lot of cleanliness and good deal. And the great location put Q the free boats that leave you in the center pass each half Hoya and during the 24h of the day. So you're on a boat and in 20m you're in the middle. Fully recommended if you want economy and good location.
Great option for a stay in Amsterdam, the Botel was spotlessly clean and perfect location. The ferry from the back of Central Station is every 30 minutes and more importantly free. Staff at hotel could not be more helpful. For those with a marine interest there is a 1940s submarine parked next to the Botel (unfortunately you can't visit it though)
A hotel in a former ship. Moored not in the center, on the pier, around only the restaurant and nothing else was noticed. Big plus near the free ferry station to the Central railway station, cruised every 15-30 minutes, in the road min 10-15, so there were no problems, but fans only walk hardly like it. The hotel itself is inside tight. The room was very small, the breakfast was good. The bath is even smaller, with plums having problems. On bail you can take a hairdryer and a kettle. Breakfast is not super, but quite. The internet worked fine. There is a small pub, worked in the evening. Well, I guess. If it is very late to return, then either a taxi, or some complicated scheme with the change of the ferry and Basik, I do not remember exactly.
The shower is not very comfortable. The room is small. If you need a room to sleep in it, it'll come off.
No one has very cool welcome but not very clean room.
We loved this place, great alternative to a hotel. Easy to get to, free ferry half hourly from Central Station. Room was clean and warm. Double glazing was excellent. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was replenished regularly.
The place I really liked, even though the room was small I found the value for money was very good. More economical than any hotel in the centre (without breakfast) and the Botel includes breakfast, you only have to cross the ferry from the central station, so the distance is not very long either. It was perfect for what we needed, it was just going to sleep, bathe and have breakfast for a walk all day. The bathroom is quite small, but as I said, it was enough for what we needed. All very friendly, in fact the friendliest was the caretaker who is in the evening!
Pretty cheap accommodation. But the positive is already listening. The rooms are really small, the drawers are dirty and the sockets are far away from the bed. In front of the entrance lungerten quite dubious figures around during our stay. The city is reachable in about 20min by ferry (5min Walk, 15min ferry). Parking nearby costs about 7, €50 a day.
What do I expect?
You are right here if: — you want to stay centrally in Amsterdam without having to transfer huge sums of money to hotel chains.
— you do not have high demands on the comfort of your room and use it primarily as a sleeping place — you are young and can also live with sounds or music from the next room without ringing the doorman directly in a German manner — you'll get along with a breakfast St that does not cause any air jumps, but is saturated as a sleeping place super suitable to explore from a central "base" from Amsterdam. Not for people who want to spend en mass time in the room.
You can spend the night, cleanly and carefully.
American is there.
It's nice and cozy, sleeping on the water was a great experience for us. View is great and the bed is good. The bathroom is extremely small and you can hear a bit of noise from the bus-boats passing by. The hotel's look and feel is a bit dated. Breakfast was ok. Location is great, you get to Amsterdam central in 15 mins by free bus-boat.
Not beautiful because it is made from a ship but certainly characteristic.
Great location, and free access to Centraal Station (10 minutes by ferry). The breakfast was very good, although the selection was limited, especially for vegetarians. Cleanliness at a high level. Very relevant in winter-strong heating. A star deduction because of the unfriendliness of the staff.
Recommended. The room was very nice, the bathroom was clean and the breakfast was very good. The location All very rich and they are always putting things together. The Cook speaks Spanish.
The hotel is in good condition and the deal is good. It is not noticeable that this in a boat of 6 days that I was only notice a small movement of the boat here I leave two fotitos, the one of the hotel and the one of the views from the room that we touched to us.
Greetings.
(German review below)
Stayed in Amsterdam for three days on the Botel, check in and the room service was quick and easy, as well as fastidious, the beds were okay even if a bit cramped. The price, for Amsterdam, is okay, while it would be a rip off in most other cities.
Unfortunately that's where it stops being good. The breakfast is very nice. Honestly. No selection to speak of, the bread was horrible, two toasters for upwards of 100 people, the coffee line, for the single coffee machine, what immense. The layout of the "dining room" was cramped and full. The breakfast was very nice.
The bathroom and beds were tiny, forget staying in the hotel for long, the TV worked but only on one channel, every other channel was dead or dying. The Wi-Fi was suprisingly alright though.
You can also hear. Everything. From. Everywhere. There was a lot of… fornication… going on.
If you're alone and you want to stay one or two nights, the Botel can be recommended. If you're not alone, stay away.
So the horrible looking sign on top of the ship… what's up with that? It looks so tacky and 70s…
We stayed three days in Amsterdam at the Botel, the check in and the housekeeping service was quick and easy, as well as accommodating. The price was very good for Amsterdam. In most other cities it would of course be overpriced.
But then it also stops. The "breakfast" is an absolute joke.
The transportation is very convenient, to the Central railway station 10 minutes by boat, the heating is very hot very fast, the room general level. Cost effective.
An interesting experience sleeping in a boat room. Comfortable, clean and warm. Breakfast was basic and costly.
Good value for money, some negative point (low bedding, we have tour of Sens, insulation BOF, awakened in the morning by the noise of carts in the hallway) good breakfast but lack of fruit, nice view, ferry close and free to go until Central Station, attention last return to 2:45. Otherwise there is a bus + ferry but we didn't not found the schedules.
The staff were friendly and labsdb Certe small but clean.
Friendly and clean you can recommend well who does not expect sophisticated rooms and you want to stay cheap in Amsterdam.
Not a bad location if you want to be just outside the centre, ferries are pretty regular and they are free so that always helps. Good check-in desk staff, Room was good, bed was fantastic, not to soft so you feel stuck but not to solid that it hurts to move. Toilet was a bit acquired with the sink handing half over the toilet. Breakfast was nice regularly restock until closing time. Would definitely book again.
The room looks pretty clean, the quiet area allows you to get some good sleep! Obviously you will have to adapt to the perennial rocking and being forced to take a ferry from the Central station (completely free the shuttle is located following the signposted Ferris in the Central Station the timetables are from Monday to Thursday from 07.00 to 00.00 Every half hour, in the Week and extends to 02. Breakfast plentiful but not very varied.
Very nice comfortable and very friendly people.
The Beda is already awfully cramped, but it goes. Very clean, very friendly staff. Exception: Bartender of the hotel bar in the late shift. Very inattentive, prefers to play around on his cell phone, than to einzuschänken the guests something to drink. Responds only after massive call. The man is unable.
This place is brilliant for those not wanting to fork out and spend loads on accommodation. The breakfast is simple. Beans, sausage, bacon, boiled egg and toast. Get there by 8 if you don't want to be in a scrum. Reception always helpful. The rooms are small but have all you need with their own heating that works very quickly! The Pollux over the road is a hidden jem for evening meal. Will I stay again? Most definitely.
Got back yesterday from staying 3 nights at the botel and the only thing I will say that the breakfast isn't great at all if they put some fresh fruit on and maybe some croissants it wouldn't be to bad but that's the only thing. Other than that I would definitely stay again.
Nothing they have not already said… arregladito, Cosy… it shows a little the go and see. Small bath… although above valued with the 3 stars. To sleep enough!
For the price paid not bad, I recommend to couples young or single, and to those who do not want to be late at night as you have to take the ferry, midnight all to sleep (or taxi).
A little small and average bedding but otherwise overall its been.
We had a great stay at Botel. It's close to the free ferry crossing into the city. Could do with more of a selection at breakfast but the food tasted great. Definitely recommend a visit. Great value for money.
Good location of the hotel, by boat you can very quickly get to the city center, with it completely free. The room is small but the bed is quite comfortable. There's a safe. Heating can be adjusted on the radiator under itself. Great view from the window where the ducks float and a couple of swans.
Of the drawbacks, some leaky panels on the ceiling and a very small shower are matched to the toilet.
Points in favor of the quiet, the hot water, for those who love sweet breakfast there is really little, cleanliness so so.
Cheap. Pleasant and atypical setting (on a boat). Friendly staff.
Very nice, however, if the lady from the reception just shortly before the closing date, then you get false information from her. We asked for a room because we were told it was all full. Shortly afterwards we saw how the woman quickly went to the ferry. I had a hunch the woman just wanted to get rid of us. That is why we are back again and have once again asked the identical question about a room. What a miracle now even so many rooms were free that we could choose. Apart from that, however, a very nice hotel.
Perfect location, 5 minutes from the center by free Ferry, no noise. Double room in perfect condition and overlooking the city across the river. Very good service, special mention to Alex.
Cloyingly sweet antiseptic saturates the botel, redolent of an autopsy room plus tulips. Breakfast is… ummm… a rip off. No kettle or tea in room. Decor is reminiscent of A Clockwork Orange. Better to stay on the south side of the canal. Be prepared to have your oxygen infused with heavy dose of weed from neighboring rooms, and to hear everything. Everything. Fun to feed seagulls from the window. They were very hungry but may have had munchies.
Book this without breakfast! No choice, rubber-like bread, katastophaler cheese and that in Holland! Rooms are OK, however it costs everything extra e. G. A hair dryer, safe is too small, only the location to the center is ideal with the ferry service. The view over the river is great!
It is ok. Only to get there you have to take a ferry. And in winter it weighs and much with snow. No smoking area.
That's great! Buy bus ticket to go from Central station without knowing Qie there was a free ferry almost 24 hours!
Breakfast is not very varied but eara well.
If you do not specify in the reservation, they put you in room with two beds, the bathroom very small, very clean, and the breakfast acceptable, to 20 mentros of the ferry free.
The Amstel Botel I can recommend again and again. The rooms have a very small bathroom, but the charm of this hotel is just great and clean it was the last two times too! From the hotel you can take a free 10 minute ferry to Central station, which is very convenient. The breakfast is okay, which annoys me but is that for cold drinks plastic cups are used. The same applies to toothbrush cups. However, this hotel is perfect for a city break! We like to come back:)
Rooms need updating, bathrooms are small. Asked the friendly staff about booking one of the letter rooms but by the looks of it they are no longer used. No hairdryer in the room but with a 10 euro deposit you can get one from the front desk. Nice little bar, breakfast is very poor. Great location for getting into town.
The price is good. The rooms are very small and old looking inside. The employees at the Botel were very nice. When I first showed up at the Botel I was disappointed with the room size and the interior. You can be in the bathroom and use the sink, shower and toilet at the same time. Not really a suggestion. It has a good location across the bay. I did enjoy sitting on the deck with my feet up and a cold Heineken. Watching the sun go down from a ship in Amsterdam was very nice. The best part was the fact that I traveled everywhere so the room size didn't matter. You do get breakfast included every morning. The selections for food are small but, you can eat as much as you like. If you are looking for just a place to lay down at night and then start out on the town again it was a good location.
Price and quality right. It is a very good option at a good price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice.
My friend and I just stayed at the Botel, Monday 9 October, as part of our 60th birthday celebrations and when we booked we were a bit worried that we would be the "Grannies"but there were all ages on the boat. The room was great with a river view and a lovely breeze coming in, beds are good too, as others have said the showers are a bit small but the pressure is great and the water is hot. It is also super quiet during the night even with the window open. Breakfast was yummy and covered all the bases. The free ferries are wonderful. All in all a fantastic place to stay.
Very quiet location and yet centrally! You get to the center with a ferry for free and return again… The ride does not last very long either… I can only recommend it!
For the price I guess it was okay. Taking the ferries into town isn't that bad really. Kinda cool. Getting used to moving as you sleep is weird. The beds suck (had a room with two twins). They seem like they took then from an old Soviet hospital. The bathroom was quite gross. Very tiny, no fan for steam. Really hard to feel clean coming out of there.
Location was easy to find; off the beaten path of Amsterdam but you get a quieter experience which was extremely welcome. This is a no frills but clean hotel experience; all the staff we interacted with we're helpful and nice. Breakfast was included and it was hot and plentiful! Showers were small but had good pressure but the soap is an "all in one soap" instead of the separate bar soap and shampoo like at other hotels. Highly recommend as it's pretty unique!
Rooms are small but good enough for 2 people, the front desk people were friendly, only thing I didn't like about the place was the way their staff behaved when we were about to check out! Their check out time is 11AM, we about to leave and it was 11 15 AM and one of the staff members knocked on the door and was very rude in asking us to vacate, I totally understand that it was 15mins beyond check out time but we are human beings n taking 10 to 15 mins extra happens at times, I guess they could be more polite with their guests.
It's good to spend the night — no more. The rooms are small, musty smell, average breakfast, but good appreciating.
Located in a quiet area, next to the free ferries connecting the centre of Amsterdam. Room a bit rudimentary (normal on a boat) and very friendly team.
We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are not too small. The bathroom could be bigger. Everything clean and tidy. Breakfast is quite fine. With the ferry one is jerk Zuck in the city at the central station. All in all we are satisfied and would book it again.
This is a reasonably nice budget hotel. It's well priced with easy access by boat to central station. Rooms a bit run down but overall a fine place to lay your head after a long day sightseeing.
Quite disappointing experience. A room not really like in the photos (very sketchy, cracks and holes in the ceiling,. ) And very poorly soundproof!
However, the staff are welcoming and listening.
I am very disappointed with this hotel I got fired for smoking a cigarette in the window and in addition it ask me €150 fine.
This hotel captures a vibe that cannot be created, the staff are absolutely fantastic, the breakfast is decent and location is great. Me and my girlfriend used to really enjoy stopping for a coffee at the shop opposite the dock and catching our morning boat into central. It gave us chance to plan and chat about the day ahead while the returning boat allowed us to peacefully reflect on the everything we have experienced. The beds are very comfy and while the rooms may seem dated they are more than adequate. I would highly recommend this boat to everybody. It's quirky, it's got character and it's great value for money.
We've stayed on the Botel for a week. No frills, no fuss. Friendly staff. Clean rooms with a little boat sized bathroom (slightly dodgy shower). No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but if you leave a 20E deposit you can borrow a kettle from reception. Fantastic view across to central station especially at night.
Easy access to the centre by a free ferry.
Life pictures of the window. Hotel accessible by ferry (free) minutes from the central station. The rooms are clean with bathroom and private toilet.
I love this hotel. It's casual and relaxed. Good breakfast included in the price. Great staff. It's half way through renovations, which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars!
Close to the city centre, tourist groups from all over, room with a view of the water, free shuttle to the Centraal station. I highly recommend (good value for money)
I really enjoyed myself. The staff is friendly and helpful and the Botel is close enough to the center. Pass a ferry (free) every 15-30 minutes, depending on the time slot. It is not recommended for someone who prefers the nightlife since the last ferry direct to the hotel leaves at 11pm. 45
The facilities are low level, yet quite clean. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is also kept simple, but all there is to be done. A mix of English and continental breakfast. Due to the free ferry you are quick and easy in the city. As the Botel is of course a boat, it is also something unusual. Parking costs 11 Euro per day. If you want to stay in Amsterdam and want to be in the city quickly, nothing can go wrong here.
Hotel on an old medium sized ship. Small rooms, with a not great view on the sea but clean and functional. Great and plentiful breakfast included in the price. Easily reachable from the station by ferry in the direction of NDSM.
Hotel from an old ship, the rooms and bathrooms are very small, however it is well clean and the included breakfast is plentiful and continental type. Reaching it is very simple, there is a ferry that from the central Station takes you to the dock where it is moored and is free, unfortunately if you are unlucky you will have to wait for more than 20 min to which you add about 15 min of crossing. Don't come back several times in the hotel during the day.
Staff not very pleasant, the morning buffet is plentiful and great, you can find a European and English breakfast. Rooms nothing that, but they offer a beautiful view.
The city of Amsterdam also offers a "shuttle" service with a ferry that takes you directly in front of the station which is 5 minutes walk from the center.
The Amstel Botel is a hotel made from a ferry, knowing this I did not expect giant rooms, the room I received, unlike my expectations, is beautiful big.
Only one Shucko socket (on the other is the TV). The bathroom is quite small and when you are sitting on the toilet so it touches your shoulder quietly on the sink. The shower is small and proceeded "dissecting" the bathroom (already small in itself) the showerhead is not on and I have to hold it with my hand while I wash, Edd is connected to the wall through a tube that looks like the garden. The toilet paper is in an unthinkable place (under the sink, under the toilet and to the right of it) the bed is large and comfy double.
Free Wi-Fi and no password.
To reach the Amstel Botel you have to take a ferry, the first on the left, with the inscription "N. D. S. M. Werf" The crossing lasts about 10min but the waiting of the ferry 30 min.
I haven't had breakfast yet.
Not a bad review (the bathroom I did not like) with only a few little tweaking becomes a 3 star Mr.
(+) Everything very clean, staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast quite complete. Well connected free of charge both in night bus and boat. There is free Wi-Fi.
(-) Breakfast lacks only have fruit. The rooms are tiny and the same bathroom but is what is expected in a boat. There is no hair dryer in the bathroom.
Lovely stay for a week, staff helpfull, room clean with a very nice sea view, recomend it, I will do it again in near future.

Decent room, simple but fine for what you need it for. Bar prices very reasonable. Breakfast decent, just what you need to start the day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again.
