Great place. Grate staff. Great location.

Stayed in one of the rooms on the top floor, facing away from the street. It was quiet and had air conditioning, so if either of those are important that’s a good floor to request. It was nice having the kitchen in the room and there’s a grocery store within a 5 minute walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great — quieter neighborhood with some shops and restaurants nearby. Quick walk to get to the tram stop. About 20 min walk to Centraal station. I really enjoyed staying here!

Nice room with a kitchenette and a few stores nearby to stock up. Good location that is a quick walk to Amsterdam-Centrum.

Awesome, big, tidy rooms! A bus stop really close aswell as a nice, medium sized grocery store. Staff were > really.

Good apartments, we had third floor room with roof windows, just great! No breakfast, slow elevator. Bot otherwise great place to stay! Will return.

Clean house tidy. 20 min walk from the center. Quiet area. Kind staff.

All the staff we interacted with were really friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and well-informed about the area. The apartment was clean and had all the equipment we needed. We were in one of the multi-level ones and our children were entranced by it, although it was hair-raising when our 2-year-old tried ascending the stairs which weren't exactly toddler-safe. We would definitely stay here next time we're in Amsterdam.

Very cosy and well decorated room, good surpise : two bathrooms. Very well equiped room… Dangerous stair for children. On the other hand, air conditioning would have been appreciated. I know it is seldom that hot in Ámsterdam but… There were fans though. The street noise was disturbing as er were obliged to shut the Windows.

Everything is great. It was very important for us that there is a 24 hour reception. All comments were eliminated. The duplex room is comfortable. The hotel is located near the house where Peter lived first. Bus stop near the hotel, and a tram in three minutes walk.

Fantastic boutique apartments, I was surprised how nice this place is. The staff are really helpful, I would highly recommend this place, we took our little boys with us and they loved the room.

Cosy, new, well-designed apartments in an historical building. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful, with a wealth of local knowledge. The Yays Oostenburgergracht is well served by public transport, so anywhere around the city is within reach in under 30min. It's difficult to find anything of this quality so close to central Amsterdam at such a reasonable price.

Good appartment for family of 5. Nice quiet area. About an half an hour walk from the station and centre. Supermarket nearby. Close to Plantage area which is really nice for kids. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very nice appartment. It was clean and well occupied. The stuff were very helpfull The location is great.

We think this a great place to stay. Bus stop virtually at front door and supermarket and shops nearby. Cafes and restaurants very close by.
Being an apartment allows us to do our own meals if we want. It also means rooms not serviced but fresh towels are available on request and a guest laundry is also available for free.
Our room is spacious and modern and very comfortable. 10 out of 10.

A lovely property in the quieter eastern area. Our mezzanine apartment overlooked a canal, giving us lovely views from both kitchen and bedroom areas. Central Amsterdam is easily accessible by bus and the very friendly reception staff were always ready with advice and hints. There are good facilities within walking distance of the property with the New Theatre café next door, two supermarkets and even a bar within a windmill. I would have no hesitation in recommending Yays Oostenburgergracht and would definitely return!

Very friendly and helpful staff and nice comfy room. Local area and the book full of tips for it was nice and useful. Discovered great restaurants in the area.

Overall the "apartment" hotel was very nice. Some may think the location too remote, but I loved the quiet neighborhood feel and bus and tram stops were convenient enough. We also walked to/from several locations, including the city center. You can rent bikes there too. Room was nice and decent quality, with a couple big, but fairly easily correctable issues. (If you can, make sure you see your room first and especially test for closet smells and stair safety. ) Don't count on laundry. They have 2 washers and 2 dryers and it might work in a pinch. They're the european type and take forever, and at least one employee was using it to wash comforters. Other than that guy (night shift) and that issue, the employees were very nice and helpful. I will first look elsewhere on my next trip, but I will also definitely consider this Yays again.

Nice room. Very nice staff. Quite a walk from the city centre but it's all flat, easy walking. Nearby shops. Only real concern is room layout — narrow stairs, low ceiling and uneven floor means quite an adventurous trip to the loo if you have to go in the middle of the night. Not for older people.

Excellent, gorgeous, very modern and clean accommodations. We chose because we were traveling with children and the apartment/bed setup was PERFECT. Street noise is a bit loud with windows open; not an issue in March but might be during summer. Kitchen functional but could be stocked with some very basic things like salt and pepper. Staff super friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely everything has been thought of in these apartments! There was nothing missing. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the kids loved the big TV. The information provided was excellent and the books about the area and the Dutch cookbook left in the apartment were nice touches. The staff members were very friendly and really helpful. The location was very convenient, less than ten minutes by bus to the central station (Amsterdam centre) with a service that runs every ten minutes.

I did not find it correct to charge the accommodation a month in advance of my arrival at the hotel. According to booking they spoke my language, and to stay that's not existio. A single person speaks spanish only hours of the morning (with very good predisposicion).

Duplex is pretty cool & economical. Equipped with all that is required for a long stay such as kitchen, dish washer, refrigerator, TC etc. Super Market is just 2 minutes walk. Staff is good and helpful. Overall a good stay, only thing is Dam Square and other happening places are about 15-20 minutes walk.

Awesome apartment style living with loft sleeping areas and full kitchen! Absolutely loved the space and the location to transportation! The unit I stayed in had a walk in shower (no bathtub) and plenty of towels etc. Only cons for this property is the sound! My unit was on ground level and noise from the apartment above was very annoying. Sound proofing of the units could work wonders for this place, many of the noises from hallways etc could be heard. This is a 4☆☆☆☆ star temporary residence/hotel which is perfect for your travels in Amsterdam! Staff is very knowledgeable and so friendly! Can't go wrong staying here! Incredible value!

Great boutique apartments with good location! 10th and 14th trams, 22nd bus are in walking distance!
You feel like home at Yays! Concierge staff are very friendly and helpful. And everything's there — fully furnished apartment with cozy bedroom, kitchen stuff, microwave oven, refrigerator. Totally recommended!

Excelente servicio, departamentos muy cómodos, y muy buena ubicación.

The experience was positive. The rooms were fully equipped and the location is perfect. Out of the chaotic city, yet only 15 minutes from the centre. Service was good, always helpful and present.

New hotel. Not the center, but tram stop is 40 metres, so no problem. The price is low. There is a full kitchen with all utensils.
