Review of Room Mate Aitana 4*

Stayed here for 2 nights and I was impressed! It has a modern hipster vibe but staff are so attentive and helpful. They gave us directions to the airport via train which is one sixth of the price of a taxi and took 35 mins door to door. The retaurant food is amazing and their restaurant staff are so professional, making sure everyone on the table is finished eating before serving the next course together. Their breakfast buffet is incredible — eggs made to order, pancakes, cereal (granola, museli, bran flakes etc), fruit, muffins, juice, coffee, tea, crackers, cheese, croissants, baked beans, bacon and sausage plus so much more. The room is so spacious and clean. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Walls are soundproof so it is very quiet. Location is 10 mins walk to central station and 15 mins to Dam Square. It is in a quiet area. They have tea, coffee, mugs, sugar and kettle. Staff are friendly and helpful when they walk past you in corridors and lifts which is so refreshing. Bathroom is excellent and clean. The cleaning staff really take pride in their work and they make up your room each day really efficiently. The gym facilities are really good — 2 treadmills, a cross trainer, bike, a few weights machines for legs, chest and abs, fit balls, free weights, benches and yoga mats. They also provide towels and cold drinking water. There are lots of places to relax and chat in communal areas and they offer water, apples and candy in the lobby which is a nice touch. Only minor things are they don't offer a towel reuse system, they throw out soap that has only been used once and I didn't get twin beds which I requested when I booked. Also, water sprays out of the shower at the bottom of the door and you can't plug the sink. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and it really felt like a home away from home. I would stay here again.
