This is the budget option for those going to the nearby theme park. We were there during the hottest week of the year… No air conditioning… And no electric fans… SO SWEATY. The place needs a renovation. But it is well placed for the town, restaurants, supermarket etc. There's a bakery across the road which opens early, fresh bread is excellent.

Chosen on booking for the proximity to the playground of Efteling. Tucked away in a neighborhood of little houses and gardens was a pleasant discovery. The girls at the reception are nice and you have the opportunity to buy the ticket to the park with a discount of 2 euros and skipping the row. The rooms are cosy and in a modern style, very colourful. Good location Hot drinks always available and large lounge for children. 5 stars + + +

My family and I loved the staff at Hotel De Kroon. We were greeted with friendly smiles and greetings every time we walked in the doors. They went above and beyond to personalise our visit. A personalized note awaited us in our room at check in and our breakfast table had our family name. The breakfast was excellent and was kept stocked. Our children especially enjoyed the play area set aside for them in the dining area. It also has a great location of being near various walking distance restaurants and a 5-8 min walk to Efteling. I highly, highly recommend a stay here.

Very very good hotel. Plenty of free parking spaces. Really friendly staff. There was even full-day free coffee shop and cake. The room was quite large and clean, as was the bathroom and the shower. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was really delicious and plentiful. The efteling could easily be reached on foot in just under 10 minutes (this saves you €10 parking fee) All in all a top value for money.

Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a nice breakfast buffet there's also free speciality coffee and tea available all the time. Room was small but perfectly fine for the purpose. The Efteling was just a 5 minute walk away. Nice family hotel!

Really good location and great staff.

Lovely, family friendly hotel. Very clean with wonderfully friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. A child's playroom to entertain the little ones is provided. Free tea and coffee all day long. Fresh continental breakfast is included in the price. The beds are very comfortable. You can open the windows. Close to a super market, restaurants and the Efteling theme park. Wonderful staff make you feel at home! The hotel is extending and we will definitely stay again.

Lovely place, only 5 minutes walk from efteling Park. A great hotel for families, couples and groups. Nice breakfast and free caffe. The Wi-Fi is free and strong in any part of the hotel.

Small and cozy Hotel with Super friendly staff (English speaking). We had a small room. For to Stay sufficient. Alt Furnished with a safety Deposit box and ceiling fan. The small bathroom/toilet was modern, chic and clean. (There is also a large family room with a terrace. ) Wi-Fi, Parking and coffee and tea 24h-free. It has a simple Bar with reasonable prices and there was a good 3* Breakfast. The Eftelin leisure Park is within easy reach by foot. Supermarket and bakery are around the corner. Restaurants 5-10 minutes walk away.

Good service and the tenant is a great person. But pricy for location and really the room is too small. Breakfast looks like it came direct from lidl…

Very comfortable and cozy hotel, excellent location, very well equipment, comfortable and clean room, excellent Wi-Fi, very good breakfast. There is the place, where adult visitors have opportunity to have a rest, watch TV, have cup of tea or coffee, served for guests free of charge in the Lobby; and guests can watch the special place, where children can play. There is Very friendly and attentive personal. They help visitors to arrange the more interesting holidays. Thanks to them, they helped me to make evening excursion and to see the interesting Church in Kaatsheuve, and offer interesting activities for children near. I will recommend my friends Hotel de Kroon Kaatsheuvel, as a hotel excellent for families with children and just single travelers. I will return there with a pleasure.

Very nice hotel conducted by a family as far as I have understood, very clean and calm. The structure is a bit old but is something typical and it's not ruining the experience in there. A lot family friendly.

It was a heart welcome, the rooms are friendly, the Breakfast was delicious. The road to the Efteling is not far. The beer in the evening was delicious we will come back. The photo was the view from the balcony, the traffic noise was in the night, no Problem.

A nice smallish hotel with standard rooms at a good price. Clean and very friendly staff who always like to be with tips to assist, if questions come up. Worth it especially the combination packages for "Efteling". (Summer 2012).
