Great hotel and great restaurant. I love this place. Excellent service. There are brunches. It's very convenient. To meet with relatives, friends. The kitchen is wonderful. I've been a regular for 17 years.

Only decent hotel in Venray as this is a very town with many residential and warehouses are here. There is McDonald's across the street and about 5 to 8 mins driving to Central area with more food options.

It is a adequate business hotel. The bathtub is too high! RISKY!

Decent rooms, nice staff. Ask for a room with sauna! Highway (s) are right next to the hotel. City center is approachable for walking.

Great place and very friendly staff. They do not have double beds, only singles, so not ideal if you are a larger build.

Staff in the restaurant is excellent and food is very decent. The rooms are nice and tidy. The mattresses however are a bit too soft and perhaps need to be replaced.

Travelled here for business and had a comfortable stay. It’s a no frills hotel but the restaurant has a good selection of dishes with large portions.

I visited "Zaal 7" for a company Christmas party. This venue is spacious, modern and versatile. Staff was nice and alert. Food was OK, but I'm not sure if the hotel itself was responsible for the catering.

It is actually a cosy and modern hotel. Breakfast offer is sufficient but certain dishes taste unusual (e. G. Resti). Restaurant and rooms are very modern equipped. Bathrooms on the other hand would have to be renovated. There were places where there was mold in the joints. Cleaning the bath also has to be desired. Lime, water stains, mildew, dust.

Hotel Asteria is a modern hotel in Venray, NL. Easily accessible by car, but not so much by public transport, it is in a nice but mostly industrial area. The service while here as an overnight guest on business was very good. They seem to be able to dispense with the admin burden — checking in was 2 minutes without any paperwork at all. The room is comfortable, though I was in a 2xsingle room which meant a narrow bed. However, the room was very well furnished and comfortable to do a little bit of work in. It was also very quiet and both nights rest were undisturbed by sound or light. Stunt is excellent, with a nice view outside and excellent food at a very decent price. They have the usual selection of spirits, wine and beer. All in all a very comfortable stay or being on quite a small bad I will definitely come here again, although if I was here right on leisure I don't know what there would be to do nearby.

This is NOT a 4star hotel. Location next the highway is very convenient, it has a nice outdoor area facing west allowing the afternoon sun to reach the terrace. Staff is kin and helpful. There is a restaurant with multilevel layout and they serve a decent breakfast. But once you leave the ground floor things change. Hallways are grey and dull, looks more like a hallway in a basement, a few ceiling lights and no decorations combined with the green plate with the room number and the dirty carpets makes the place very depressing g. The room was decent size and seemed clean, but again very ordinary. There was a desk, but no chair, there was a toilet but no cover, there was windows, but they couldn’t open. And despite the location next to a multifunction room facility for parties etc there was no iron in the room.

Located at the edge of the woods and the exit of the highway this hotel is mainly used by business people for meetings, the rooms are very spacious and they offer a good menu.

Had appointment to discuss options for weddingparty. Asteria offers more than reasonable pricing, and their largest party room is beyond beautiful. We tasted the food and it was also very good. Feeling confident that this will be the perfect location for us!

Great hotel, spent barely any time there but the time I did spend was good. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms relatively large and the bathroom excellent. The free stuff smelled very nice.

Where should I start, firstly the hotel staff offers the guests a warm welcoming, the service they provide is second to none.
The food is excellent, during my stay here, which has been six months, (yes 6 months) And still counting. The food has exceeded all expectations.
The room are spacious, some with built in saunas, are excellent, extremely clean. The staff are extremely friendly and above all helpful. Peter Griffiths.

Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating; always eager to please. Drinks prices were similar to in the town centre, with a decent selection, and open till around 2. I have a beautiful fillet steak in pepper sauce in the restaurant. It was around €26 but I felt it was well worth it. It was a little far from anything else aside from a McDonald's but a 30 minute walk or a 10 minute drive to the town centre wasn't too bad. The only problem I encountered was my room door was a little faulty and didn't lock of you didn't pull it hard. I come back once to find my room open, but after alerting reception it never happened again.

I'm a traveler who's stayed in virtually every brand of hotel in many cities, so my review is based on comparisons to those hotels. If you're looking for a "place to stay", this hotel is just fine, but expect some quirks. We stayed for 5 nights. Pluses: — near open roads, freeway access, near cozy town. — Staff is very friendly and accommodating — Breakfast is great (good choices, all fresh tasting) — enough parking close to hotel entrance — rooms are reasonably spacious (similar to USA smaller hotel rooms) — Overall clean appearance — Internet download speed pretty good! Upload speed very very slow (not usable for business like video conferencing) Negatives: — 2 of the nights the room never got cleaned (a bag of towels got dropped in front of the door) — Explicit request was made for a "quiet" room, but instead got a room directly above their ball-room, keeping us awake 2 nights of our stay. During the day we had construction noises. The hotel did end up comping 1/2 of one night to make up for this. — All their beds are tiny "single beds". For folks who are used to Queen/King beds, beware. Hotel will say 2 beds can be moved together, but this doesn't form a "big bed". You're stuck with a big seam in the middle. — Shower was leaky. After a 10 minute shower, most of the bathroom floor turned into a flood. — Carpet is quite dirty/spotty (I never dared to walk without socks/shoes on) Similar to some 3 star Best Western for room quality.
