Having had a long term stay in Theater Hotel, I would recommend anyone to stay there. It was a true home from home for me. Kind and caring staff, lovely rooms central to Venlo, which has an abundance of places to eat and a really nice atmosphere. Will miss everyone there, and hope to return some day.

Nice, clean and basic hotel with a minimalistic touch to the interior. I enjoyed the the stay, very quiet, it is primarily a theater with some rooms. Nice location. A special note, the bartender in the miniature bar was super service minded and a great guy!

Really nice hotel that is attached to the Theater building. Nice detail of a complimentary prosecco glass. Breakfast included and REALLY good, in a high floor from the Theater building. Only down part is that they charge 25 Euros per night for a crib.

Extremely nice rooms, clean and have everything you would want from a hotel in that price range (bath stuff, towels, hair dryer, and so on). The toilet and the shower are a little weird. The shower is open to the room and the toilet… somebody sitting on the bed could watch you taking a dump :D The staff, at least those who I have met, are friendly and kind. I kind of a sugar crisis at night and they sent somebody to my room at night with a couple snickers. Lovely. (my bad, I should have had less drinks and checked my sugar level repeatedly). But the breakfast was standing out the most in my opinion. Everything was so fresh and well prepared, such a wide range too. The staff there was extremely nice and quick to respond.

Would have been 5 star but aircon in room incredibly poor and fridge not working.

Fantastic experience! Spotless room, super friendly staff. I was shocked that they made us lunch bags when we had to leave before breakfast. Lobby not open after 11 pm though so be mindful of you need something late. A real person gave the wake up calls. How cool.

Great place in Centrum, many pubs, shops around the hotel. Rooms :comfortable beds, big bathroom. In my room there was big tape with Dutch singer. Not looked good. Finally I spend good time there. Service kind and informed.

One in advance, I have seen and experienced many hotels in the world, but I have never experienced such a great new hotel as the theatre hotel in Venlo. Extremely friendly staff, from the service staff to the manager of the house… Only from the most sympathetic and the finest. The rooms, a dream. The beds are phenomenally cozy and thanks to the still new mattresses perfect for relaxing sleep. The hotel opened exactly two weeks ago and is on its way to becoming my favorite hotel. The rooms are very spacious, almost extensive to call. The bathroom with the most modern sanitary frills available. And although the house is in the middle, and I mean really in the middle of Venlo, the rooms are muddy and quiet. The breakfast buffet offers everything you need for an extensive cosy breakfast up to a very friendly service, which is happy to help with all matters. Even the cleaning staff is very friendly and helpful. As an example of the helpfulness of the employees comes this: with my partner the cigarettes had run out and we were on the desperate search where you could still get cigarettes in the city late at night. The bartender of the hotel got this with him, left his counter, took us by the hand and went with us to a night-time cafe, where there were still cigarettes to buy in the evening. Where else can such behaviour be found today?

The Theaterhotel is a beautiful, modern and centrally located hotel in lovely Venlo. The rooms are decorated beautifully, with a coffee machine, rain shower, flat screen TV and under-bed lighting, everything you need. Apart from a fantastic location in the centre of Venlo, near to the town centre and the tourist attractions, the staff are friendly and professional, the restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious. There is a lovely bar area to relax, and you are close to all local amenities. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel for a friend's wedding and would definitely return, and recommend to our friends!
