My work affords me the enviable pleasure of traveling throughout Europe and regularly dining in quality restaurants in food-centric countries such as France, Italy, and Spain. And I make my home in Chicago, where one can enjoy an endless array of fine restaurants from a vast diversity of ethnic origins. So you can imagine the raised eyebrows I get when I tell people that one of the most enjoyable restaurants I've ever encountered is nestled in a forest adjacent to a small Dutch village. I have dined (and stayed) at De Lunterse Boer quite often over the past two years. The cuisine is exceptionally varied, wonderfully creative, and consistently delicious. The service staff is friendly, respectful, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable. And the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Highly, highly recommended!
