We were here for the North Sea Jazz festival, but to be honest this hotel is nowhere near to the festival. It'll take you either a 30 minute bike ride or €25 cab to get there. Also the surroundings are very boring, since it's in the middle of a business district — albeit green, but going out for a drink is out of the question. Other than that the hotel is clean, rooms are spacious. They have a bar and even a night bar where you can get drinks in the middle of the night to take up to your room. Rooms are quite. Our room had asmall hallway with an inner door that shut out the sound from the corridor. Personel is friendly. There was a woman a the check-in that tried to explain something to an English speaking guest at the counter, but I have to be honest I did not get a thing she was saying, neither did the guest. But that could've been incident (or it was just very hard to explain).

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this modern hotel with a spectacular view! The room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was so clean. The hotel wasn’t too far from the center but far enough for less traffic and noise. The continental breakfast was excellent with a large variety of foods from sweets to salty. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who’s traveling to Rotterdam.

Stayed here on 2 occasions for business. Really felt welcomed. Comfy beds. Breakfast is very nice too. Wifi is okay, can slow down sometimes but better than what I expected from hotels.

This hotel is very modern. The rooms are wonderful and they have air conditioning and heat. Very central location and only about 15minutes away from the middle of town via public transit. Also as a treat visit the hook of holland, 20 minute trip by car but worth it for sea shell collectors, found so many star fish as well.

Nice place and friendly staff. I would improve the restaurant staff and waiting time to get the food. The bar service excellent and very fast, ouver all experience was great and I did not find any reasons not to go back.

With 4 Stars advertised but only 3 Stars in real. Too long a wait At the Front desk. 2 Female employees deal with 1 Guest and we wait and wait. Bath unfortunately not as clean as to be expected with 4 Stars. Floor Spotty. Restaurant was top. Very delicious eaten.

Staff nice but not French speaking. Modern room but not great luxury. The cleaning is done every day. And every day small coffee and tea pods.

Booked this hotel for a wedding stay in Rotterdam and made a mistake as was supposed to stay at the Schiedam Novotel. Accepted my mistake but upon arrival, I mentioned to the receptionist Martina about the manager advising me about complimentary breakfast and she did not have any clue about it. So we checked in and left the hotel after 15 minutes to attend the wedding reception and realise that we are at the wrong hotel. So spoke with the reception team and they advised me they will call back and let me know what they can do. But arriving at 2 am, the night staff advise me that the manager will look upon the incident and will take action. Also the Sofa bed was not made for the 3 adults which we booked for. Upon arriving at the reception in the morning, spoke with the worst non-chalant supervisor who for an instant acted like a Mule. Not listening to anything and just shaking her head as she had spoken to the receptionist Martina who gave her a debrief without even hearing the customers experience. Would not recommend this hotel, Hospitality = 0, they do not value their customers experience or listen to their feedback. Surely mistake was mine but hotel could have suggested breakfast as Schiedam did and apologise but that was not the case. If the Relations manager reads my experience, they should advise the reception team and make the customers experience better.

Not very suitable for a tourist like me, if for people traveling for business. Good professionals, very attentive and efficient.

Very nice hotel. Were on the 12th floor (as far as I can remember) and had a nice view, as in the hotel room was a very large window. The parking lot was free and there was always a space free (with barrier). Really recommend.

Friendly and courteous staff. A small effort on the housekeeping of the bathroom would be welcome.

The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, the view from our room was absolutely superb. There is all the necessary and even a courtesy tray with tea, coffee.
Small —: Staff do not speak French, and there is no tourist information available (no leaflet, etc… The city plan can however be requested at the reception)

Stayed here for one night in the clean executive room. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable and the mini bar was stocked with soft drinks, wine and water. The view was great from the 15th floor. We had a drink at the bar and the staffs were friendly. The receptionists were very helpful to provide tips on nearby places to visit which included the Kralingse Bos lake about 20 minutes away by foot. There is also a Spar supermarket in the Erasmus University next to the hotel. We had a very nice stay in this hotel.

Good accommodation for the low price. Tidy room, good Wifi reception, bath was filled quickly. The staff was available whenever we needed them. The sliding door to our bathroom was very hard to slide open, but we just left it open.

The room smells. The shower is whitewashed and rusty, and remains on the floor. All in all not an imposition but also no 4 * and below expectations.

Were in October at the Novotel, the first time we liked it very much. Staff very friendly, room very nice, great view. The breakfast was fabulous. Novotel is for me the first address on the next visit to Rotterdam.

I was back after a period of a few months I was not in Rotterdam and it was like coming back home. All the people who works there recalled my name and expressed to be happy to see me again. This warmth you do not meet in all Hotels. I am a frequent traveler and stay or repeat the same hotels many times but this "Novotel" staff is personalized to their clients and that makes you feel familiar and most important of all very well come and at home.

We felt very comfortable. Class location of the hotel. Great beds. Good breakfast. Free parking and W-LAN.

We stayed in Novotel Brainpark for 6 days in September 2017. It is just 5 minutes walk to RSM Erasmus University. We would rate the hotel very high on cleanliness. Higher floors present a good view of Erasmus University and surrounding areas. The hotel staff, particularly at the reception, on all days, without exception, was very warm, welcoming and helpful. We had just one meal (dinner) at the restaurant. The food was quite good and service was excellent. Check in and check out @speed of light. Overall, a very good experience.

Nice view. Good bed an very friendly personnel. Only the bath room did not smell very nice. But because could close the door between the bedroom and the bath room, this did not bother us too much.

The stay of the entire family lasted a week at your hotel was extremely pleasant in every respect: the comfort of the room and the bathroom, their adequate size in addition to the functionality. There is a bathrobe and slippers in the room as well as a bottle of water. The mattress was comfortable and guaranteed a restorative sleep. Air conditioning proved very efficient even on hot days. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast has always been cared for in the details, it varies both in the dessert and in the salty.

Convenient for those as we travel by car, want to rest in tranquility in a neighborhood immersed in the green and has no difficulty in taking a walk of about 500 Mt in the park to take the Metro that in 10 minutes door in the center. There are no restaurants near the hotel, the interior one is not very cheap.

Positive experience. Room well sized breakfast very good free parking. Pity that the check-in was not advised of the free parking so, having parked in the street I took a fine.

Our overall experience was excellent right from the moment we arrived at reception. We were warmly welcomed and were advised on the sights in the city and recommended routes for our cycling plans. We had been given a free upgrade which was pleasant although the mini-bar wasn't fully replenished for the second night's stay. Bar and restaurant staff were excellent also and the food was very good. The hotel itself was well situated. We would recommend this hotel.

We stayed two nights at the Novotel in Rotterdam. We received a very warm and helpful welcome from Joelle on reception when we first arrived. We were very luck to have a free upgrade which was a lovely surprise; we had a good size room with breath taking views (17th floor) We ate both evenings in the hotel and found the staff extremely helpful and friendly, in particular Dionne. The menu was a little limited but the food was very nice. Breakfast was amazing with a huge choice. The bar too was a lovely place to sit and have a pre-dinner drink and I would like to say thank you to the lovely bar man who made us great gin and tonics (30/7 sorry didn't get his name! ). The hotel is light an airy, it is in a good location for the centre and had a free car park. We cycled from the hotel on both days that we were there and as expected for Holland, good cycle paths from the moment you leave the hotel. We would definitely stay again; a lovely start to our week's holiday! Thank you.

I only stayed one night in the hotel, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a big room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was more then enough choice and once again very friendly staff!

Although far from the city center, we were able to go to the center of ROTTERDAM by the subway which is not very far. The breakfasts are of very good quality. The bed is comfortable. Only downside, air conditioning or VMC which is noisy.

The stay was great. It is recommended to. Very nice view and the beds are very comfortabel. All rooms are modern furnished and very clean. There is also a small fridge and a safety Deposit box is nowhere to be found. The Breakfast is highly recommended. From the kitchen you can make a fresh omelette or yourself waffles. Coffee and cocoa is very tasty. The environment is great. The journey with the car in the city is only a few minutes away. Parking is not always to be found.

The room was good, we were already 8:30 in the room, Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, we have forgotten a huge nursing pillow in the room. Despite repeated Calls and Demands the pillow remained untraceable.

It has been very satisfying to sleep in the hotel. The bed is perfect for a good night's rest. The employees are very friendly and eager to help. The restoration, both breakfast and restaurant, very good.

I liked, that during very hot weather outside (around +30), rooms were well conditioned (not over conditioned). Rooms are clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast included great variety of choices and tasted great. Also location was perfect for me, since I needed to be at Rotterdam Business School.

I have been using this Hotel for several years now, every time I am in the Rotterdam area. The staff are always friendly and helpful and make me feel welcome. The restaurant & bar are both good and the breakfast buffet is superb. If you are in a hurry you can get an express breakfast, which is also very good. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The Hotel is environmentally conscious and you can re-use towels or even chose to not have your room cleaned each time. The latter even provides you with a small credit to be used in the bar or restaurant. Services such as dry-cleaning are provided and not too expensive. Printing your boarding card before your flight, no problem and free of charge. Truly recommend this hotel to anybody who does´t have the need to be in the center of town with their accommodation.

Stayed here for a night but I had a pleasant stay. Got iron in my room just what I need to fix my party dress. Complementary drink in a room. The breakfast was delicious any kind of shorts and the service also excellent. Will definitely come back again.

I stayed for two nights with my family.
I personally enjoyed the stay:-Comfortable room and equipped with everything you need (from the hairdryer to the refrigerator to the Ethernet sockets).
-Very fast internet connection via Wi-Fi.
-Very convenient for the free parking available to customers.
-The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
The cleanliness of the room was enough (let's say that uncomfortable places are not cleaned too often).
In my opinion it is a "scicchettoso" hotel, but without the heaviness of excesses.

Friendly staff and rooms are spacious. Restaurant is OK, had a burger and the meet was not well done and almost rear Tender did not asked how we wanted. But good service at all. Not far from city center.

A spontaneous trip led us to this hotel. Pretty much a walk in booking and got an excellent rate, breakfast were't included but still a great price. The hotel itself had excellent facilities and was very comfortable and modern.

I have seen quite some hotels, but Novotel Paris and Rotterdam were sticking out. The location of the Novotel Rotterdam is the only thing that may prevent it form dominating the rooms market in Rotterdam. It is 2 km form city centre. Other than that, for a family of four it is a third of the price, and offers more than most hotels. Novotel's concept is as inventive and bang for the buck as an Ikea kitchen. We loved it. I will be looking for Novotels wherever I go next.
