The Hotel service is so poor! As a traveler also as a guest we need prompt service from thhem. Tissue, smoke ashtray were absent, rooms electric socket was damaged! Wi-Fi system not work smoothly. Oops!

Thamel main location. Staffs are very good… Only hotels room need to be renovated.

Swimming pool, specious parking, friendly, dedicated staff and specious room.

Hotel is good, staff is very cooperative and welcoming. Rooms are neat and clean. Food quality is very good. It is very near to the airpory and just take 30-35 minutes to reach there from the airport. Our next visit will be in this hotel. Thanks for your hospitality.

Hotel Vaishali is a magnificent hotel in Kathmandu. It's near to the world renowned Sri Pashupatinath Temple and the Sri Guhyeshwari. It's just 30-45 minutes drive from the airport. One can relax in the pool and book drinks while ur relaxing. The restaurant provides both veg and non veg menus, it's a continental breakfast ranging from bread to all sorts Indian breakfast. The Indians don't need to pay the bills in the Nepali Rupee and can pay in Indian Rupees itself. If a person is interested to go to Kailash Yaatra, then the hotel has its own tour organiser — "Touch Kailash". There is even Cloak Room facility if your going to the Kailash Yaatra and stayed in that hotel before the departure. There are many nightclubs around the hotel if one is interested in the night life. There are many shopping centers around the hotel. You can even exchange your foreign currency to Nepal currency (not applicable for Indians). Overall it's a good hotel and one enjoys their stay at the hotel. Thank YouBye.

But the bathroom is somehow not clean. Air conditioning system is not properly working. So the room's temperature is not comfortable. The foods are delicious, staffs are very coperative. And they are quite friendly and helpful too. Free Wifi available here. The swimming pool is too small but nice. The hotel have a big open space. I recommend this hotel who visits Kathmandu city.

Housekeeping and room service is amazing. At the centre of the tourists attraction. Food was not that great in taste but good on stomach. :-). I mean as an Indian I expected used to more of indian masala a little more of salt and little more og Colors. But I understand that you serve international crowd and make the dishes accordingly :-)

Old hotel, but Good services. Breakfast was also enjoyable and it was complimentary. A bit expensive hotel. Bed sheets are clean and white, hot water is also available. But the air condition is not cool enough. I don't know if there is generator working or not cause during my sleep I felt that it was load shedding and all appliance turned off. Anyway the placement is good in thamel. They provide Airport shuttle service also.

Hotel service, security and arrangement was good enough. Stuff service r more hlepful. Room arrangement and view site from the room was so nice. I booked a double room with breakfast and I surprised after seeing their buffet breakfast arrangement on 6.30am. There so many items and choice for everyone arranged in breakfast.

Mw taste very much. Very clean and the breakfast very rich. The Wi-Fi is not very good but it is hardly anywhere.

I'm a regular visitor of Nepal and this is my first choice to stay. I stayed many times here. I love this hotel especially rooms, the ambience, the restaurant and top of all the staff & hospitality. I feel awesome.

The hotels location is convenient for taxis and also right in the middle of Thamel. The lobby and restaurant area are lovely and the room was very comfortable. The shower and the heating control in the room was a nice I went in Feb when it was decent cold at night, so I really enjoyed turning the heating up. The bed was also comfortable and staff friendly and helpful.

Everything is nice here. Only for hot tub u just have to ask for a stopper! Else everything is up to the mark of this hotel.

Centrally located. But recently some restrictions on vehicle movement & hence has to walk down leaving the car, a hassle with luggage. Good ambience & decent rooms. Good food too.

Good location but the rooms need a facelift. Food not so good.

Some rooms have the bathroom reformed and others have it a bit deficient for a hotel like the Vaishali. The dryer did not work, you touch one that works is a lottery. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, and the breakfast service is quite flexible as we were allowed access to the buffet earlier than normal to eat something before catching our flight.

I found this place pretty good. Rooms are posh and very well maintained. Their services are upto the mark. Overall recommended.

Very good place to stay, usually out of my price range but I stayed on a group tour. Spacious, clean rooms, a bit noisy as they are replacing the bathrooms. Good breakfast, nice pool and good Wi-Fi in the rooms. Very pleasant and helpful staff, would definitely recommend. In an area surrounded by shops, bars etc but quiet as it is set back a bit.

Nice place & well decorated. Neat & tidy room. Though the room service is little bit slow. & the buffet service are closed after 10 pm.

Dirty hotel, the lift is a death trap and it's mostly occupied by cheap uncivilized people. Don't stay here if you can afford better place.

Used to be one of the good star hotels in K-Town! With bad management, the hotel is losing its value. Yesterday, one of my friends got himself locked within lift couple of times!

I am stayed here 3 days everything think are ok like staff, room, breakfast Wi-Fi all members of hotel are cooperative thanx for all.

Hotel vaishali is good however food items are not justified they are expensive. Staff is good and works hard. Hygienic conditions are good. I enjoyed my stay. Location is the best.

I stayed two times for business trip staff is cooperative and the price is also reasonable if we are demanding more than price, not justified, one should be careful about his or her valuables in spite of blaming anyone.
Everywhere you travel on the globe, you will find some taste difference and some reservation for locals, I stayed in many hotels in KTM but here I find atmosphere like india.

Great Hotel! Myself and 5 friends recently stayed at Hotel Vaishali, everything very good. Staff were friendly and nearly everyone spoke English. Rooms were clean and of a good standard. We have previously stayed at a similar hotel and by comparison Vaishali shone out. Breakfast was excellent. The only negative the showers were hot in the morning and cool in the afternoon.

OK, a renovation is missing to be better.

It is not bad place to stay. This property is located in the main tori sty hub in Kathmandu, Thamel.

We, a group of friends including couples stayed there in November 2010. Rooms were not very good but I think those were ok by the city's standards. We were surprised to see that the power sockets which were working in the night did not have power in the morning, then learnt that it was hotel's energy saving policy. Staff was good. Breakfast was relatively good. Bathrooms were bit smelly.
