One of the finest place with great hospitality and great food and I assure you'll never miss home when you're here.

We stayed at the Nirvana Home before and after our trek in November and we highly recommend it. Warm, good food, comfortable rooms and toilet/shower facilities, and great views of Namche are all here. Tshering and his family were so hospitable and friendly, we really enjoyed meeting them and staying at the lodge. If we ever manage to return to Namche, we will definitely stay at the Nirvana Home again. Overall, the best lodge we stayed in over a 24 day trek!

Fantastic place to stay. The views are beautiful of the surrounding mountains and most importantly it is located on the west side of the valley. Which means it receives the morning warmth of the sun. With luck you will have the great pleasure of meeting Mr Kancha Sherpa one the members of Sir Edmund Hillary & Tenzing Sherpa Everest Climbing team in 1953 who lives there. A true gentleman and amazing to hear his stories about the Everest climb. The hotel is top class and beautifully set out in local timber finish inside with great food. You will find a lovely smiling family run business that we enjoy so such and fully recommend to you.

Nirvana Home… what a cosy and welcoming place!
I spent 5 nights there: two for the acclimatization to high altitude and three more nights on the return journey after a two weeks EBC & Gokyo trek.
This is the perfect place to stay with a warm common room, clean and confortable bedrooms, good and cheap meals, excellent atmosphere with an amazing family staff!
They can also give you some importants tips for the trek… 100% success, especially when you do it by yourself, without any guide. Priceless!
If you go there, I definitely recommend it, you will feel like home, enjoying one of the best landscapes on earth! You can believe me! PS: Thank you again for the lucky scarf! See you then!
