Skeleton Beach Backpackers Hotel

Awesome place to stay! You can camp or stay in a dorm. Nice and friendly staff. Best prices around. The beds and communs spaces were super clean. Hot water to shower. Big kitchen with a huge fridge. Tv spot. Breakfast included!

This is cheap accommodation with friendly staff. And we can see many kind of activities in the books and you can reserve those activities. If you want, you can laundry also. And there is brinks so you can drink some local beer. Near skeleton, there is good restaurant. It is about only 5 minutes. You can see big sports center in front of skeleton, there is a one restaurant in there. And if you want to use grocery store you have to go out to city. It is about 5 ~10 minutes on the car. There are many taxi so you can negotiate before take car and go easily. And nice beach is in front of skeleton so you can walk along the beach. Then it is so nice. There is path along the beach so you can walk easily. If you walk in the after noon you can see nice sun down. And when you walk in the night you can see nice stars. And there is a kitchen inside you can use with fridge, gas range and some kitchen utensils. And shower room with toilet is so clean. I stayed dormitory room, I slept well. And it is good to shower and use toilet. And Wi-Fi is also good to use. I recommend this backpackers.

Quiet good room. But a little small bed. A little far from maintown. But not bad.

You can park your car inside the complex for free and a huge breakfast is always included. Definitely recommended!

This places is next to the sea, its very quite here, you are on own, private, safety for you and your property like cars and every things.

Close to the beach. Great service and well maintained restrooms. However the place was completely overcrowded and a rowdy and vulgar group kept us from sleeping for the duration of the 5 day stay.

Very cool experience here. Lovely community. Their pricing suits backpacker but also anyone looking for a quick over night stay. You get more value for your money and the ocean is within 3mins walking distance. Highly recommend this accommodation.

We slept in a 4-bed dorms, the beds are comfy and clean, as well as the bathrooms and kitchen. Self-serving Breakfast is served in the nice little garden from 7 to10 and it is very nice. The location is perfect, 100 meters walking distance from the beach and 20min easy walkfrom the city center. The staff is very helpful and friendly and makes you feel at home. You can pay cash or card. Wifi works perfect!

Really nice backpackers, good value, comfortable room (cheaper than other backpackers in town). Well equipped self catering kitchen and social atmosphere. Staff were friendly and can help organise excursions. Wi-Fi worked!

A cheap option for accommodation, but it's about a 20-30min walk from the city center. The price in 6/17 was 170NAD for a dorm, including breakfast which is a good deal in my opinion. Unfortunately not all the dorms have an ensuite bathroom, which is partly why I'm giving 3 stars and not four. The service is good.

Greatly enchanted with the creative and cozy Skeleton Beach Backpackers place in Swakopmund. We got our own room with a big bed and private bathroom, nicely decorated with African themes but with the European sense of quality :)

Very basic, comfortable room. No fans in the room so we were reliant on a breeze through the window at night. We were in a room next to the laundry room and we're woken up early (before 7am) by loud staff chatter and noise from the washing machines. Wi-Fi very much up and down or non-existent. Very casual and laid back place for those wanting cheap accommodation during their travels.

Worst place to stay very unfriendly people who work there breakfast is not great and the bathrooms are disgusting. The towels are dirty and we had the problem of the light not being replaced for 4 days.

The breakfast was bad, it's noisy at night, and the staff are extremely unfriendly. The only good thing was the room was clean. When we arrived, we had to wait for another guest to let us in because nobody answered our calls. Once they did, and we found the lady working there, she was very angry with us and told us to wait. When we asked for a receipt for our payment, she was extremely put out and told us no. After we insisted she said maybe tomorrow. It makes your vacation less enjoyable when you dread returning to the place you're staying. I don't recommend it unless you're a super carefree party person.
