I really enjoyed my weekend, the hospitality was top class and room service super and very friendly staff swimming pool very clean… Surely I will be back soon.

I came to Midgard to have a peaceful relaxing weekend but got a noisy sleepless night. I complained numerous times but the load music just continued till morning hours. Very disappointed as I never experienced this with all my travels. Usually hotels and lodges require no loud music at certain times so other guests won't be disturbed, clearly this rule should be implemented at your establishment.

This is worth mentioning, I got the best massage ever here. There is a therapist by the name Relebohile. I recommend this place if you need peace of mind topped with top notch spar experience.

Beautiful greenery and luscious gardens, pretty flowers, wildlife, sparkling pool, great running and cycling trails, scrumptious meals and friendliest staff… all just an hour away from home.

Midgard is absolutely breathtaking, one of my favorite lodges to visit in namibia. The prices are reasonable. And the activities are affordable. The rooms are well kept, and its a nice quick weekend getaway.

It is a nice place to visit, you can actually live extensively there. There is a lot of activities to do, both indoors and outdoors. The atmosphere is lovable and a very peacefully quite place. The place offer activities for both age groups and there a great sports facilities too. You can go bowling, play tennis, swim in two great swimming pools, hike, and game viewing. Let me not forget that there is a small museum too.

Interesting experience. Very small lunch menu, actually only 3 choices. Beer very cold though. Road from Okahandja dangerously bad. Not to be driven with small cars. Lots of animals on road. Staff very helpful and friendly. Facilities clean and well taken care of.

Water, water and even more water. Paradise for kids and adults. Food is great as well.

An Oasis tucked away in the great outdoors celebrating nature at its best. GM a real host and the new chef seems to be stamping his mark on the cuisine. Attention to detail has left the gardens in a beautiful majestic setting. Great sun sets. What a pleasure.

Thank you to all at Midgard for the most efficient and helpful service surrounding our New Year’s Eve wedding! Our guests were welcomed with kind smiles and everything asked for was done. We are humbled by the help of wedding co-ordinator Kustaa and fellow staff for making the weekend and day of so special! Our guests who had children enjoyed being able to observe the kids play whilst they sat by the pool and in the shade sipping on a nice cold beverage. The family friendly f…actor of the lodge is trully appreciated. To the chef and kitchen staff, thank you for the amazing food! We could not have asked for a better menu We would recommend Midgard to all who need a venue for a function or just a quick break from their working lives. The garden and landscaping is well maintained and the overall bosveld scenery is breathtaking! We hope to visit their again soon. Definitely my favourite place to visit in central Namibia.

Child friendly, very modern. Rooms are spacious. Enjoyed the sundowner drive, the views were amazing. The staff are super friendly. The hotel grows their own vegatables and fruit… loved my visit to the gardens a must see.

I have not experience such good service at any other establishment. All the staff, ALL the staff was very friendly and allowed our curious 4 year old to explore the grounds freely. I would highly recommend this to any family that wants a great getaway close to Windhoek. Thank you Midgard!

Was a bit disappointed after driving 60 km just to find out they were closed for day visitors because of a function. Would've been nice to see some sort of notification on their Social media or website.

Very peaceful escape. Stunning rooms. Beautiful horse stables. The restaurant is great, and the pool area has an amazing view over the valley. Hiking trails with breathtaking scenery. Gym & Steam Room Facility. Definitely one of my top destinations in Namibia.

This is still by far one of the best accommodation and conference establishments in Namibia. It is the best getaway venue around. The staff are always very friendly; the atmosphere is very relaxing; the amenities are of high quality. This is an oasis of hospitality, in close proximity to nature and abundant wildlife, while offering relaxed, flexible conference facilities and 5-star quality accommodation.

We visited the place and see it as an option for an even and it's was absolutely excellent. We revived top class Service we viewed the grounds. The staff are simply amazing, kind helpful always with a smile. Thank you.

Beutifull. Relaxing… Really feels like home to me there are many like trees from England, 70's cars from Germany and more is still coming from me to share…

We drove all the way for a birthday lunch but the food was a huge disappointment. Definitely not worth the drive or the price! Will not recommend it or not go again.

Spent my Christmas in 2015 here and didnt regret a thing. So many activities and excellent service from the waiters and guides. PS free Wi-Fi around the whole venue and horses roaming all around, guided by someone of course. Off road road might be needed to get there.

We had a wonderful weekend away from Windhoek and stayed for 2 nights at Midgard. The surrounding is beautiful — great environment but unfortunately the buildings lack maintenance. Broken tiles in the bathroom close to the pool, other bathroom closed. We didn't receive any information about the history of the building and the farm; we actually were wondering which of the buildings is the original farm house. There is no indication of it. We also didn't receive any information about the activities at the lodge as well as other valuable information. Service in general is not very good. One hardly gets service at the pool. Drinks were not cold;; one could not order something small for lunch for the kids; We couldn't get clean cutlery or glasses at the breakfast buffet and once the breakfast buffet was finished, it was not filled up — even if it was before 9am. I hope Midgard can improve its service in future because it is such a beautiful place and it would be sad if it deteriorates.

Warm and friendly reception. Excellent service. Good food at their restaurant. Had a fun filled weekend with the family there.

Very nice lodge with excellent surroundings, staff and food, but to earn your extra star you will have to repair or replace the Children's play area…
