Christina's House Hotel

Some local guys led us to the wrong place pretending it was Christina's. Be warned! Best to call when you arrive in town and meet at an easy to find place! Extreme friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, great style and a bargain with breakfast included. Will definitely come back. Just be aware that this place is a little tricky to find.

Super relaxed atmosphere with great decor.

We just loved our 6-day stay in Asilah at Christina's house. The house is centrally located (5-minute walk to the most beautiful medina we've seen so far in Morocco) but just far enough removed from the town that we were able to relax. There is a large terrace upstairs with very comfortable furniture and both sunny and shady areas — and I confess we spent a few afternoons there doing nothing but reading and relaxing. The rooms themselves are spacious with good beds and pillows too. The windows let in lots of light, not always true in Moroccan homes. The bathrooms are exterior to the rooms but very private and all bath necessities are provided (shampoo, conditioner, bath gel). Our room was on the second floor and there was a nice lounge area right outside our room too. You really feel at home. We enjoyed a big breakfast every morning (so big that we usually skipped lunch) and it's served all the way till 11:00 in case you want to sleep in. Christina was not around but Sally took great care of us and was always available when we had questions or requests. She also had daily suggestions regarding food places or interesting activities. Sally is really the best, a kind and caring person who likes her job and it shows. We can't wait to return to Asilah and Christina's house!

1. If you are looking for a hotel in Asilah, this is the last place you want to check, believe me. I've been there for 2 days; the lady welcomed us in a very very cold way, after that she gave us the room we did not reserve adding that the room she gave us is the best room in the hotel. When we saw the room we thought immediately of a prison room, it gave us depression, we could not stay there for like 2 hours straight. The decorations in the room don't serve any purpose. Don't believe the pictures you see on their website. They are absolutely false. When we asked about the pictures the lady (Saly) said " oh really? I'm sorry I did not know… " Is she serious? You have a hotel and you don't update your pictures? We are not small children. Don't fall for this, people. There is not always hot water. My girlfriend washed her body with cold water. In their website they mention that there is hot water 24/7 but, in reality… Heh. We were shocked about the service I wish we could give them — 5. 2. Another thing (problem) is that Saly did not know that I can understand Spanish, when I asked her about restaurants that deliver food in the hotel she showed me some and told her male spanish friend that I look poor, I won't afford to eat in fancy restaurants and started laughing. Is this how clients are treated? 3. The geographic location of the hotel is very very bad. There is always small children crying and their mothers shouting at them.

Great guest service, a great space to forget about everything and relax :-) … I'm having the best journey … Thanks to all the staff special thanks go to Sally and Suzana … We will back soon.
