With this new managment, I felt like home, staff very friendly and helpfull. Always available for anything and always with a smile. A perfect place to stay and also a perfect service. I recommend to go! A place to return again!

Significant improvements expected to find a pleasant and a comfortable stay.

Stayed there in January and it was a terrible experience. Dirty is an understatement. Bed sheets were not changed from the clients before us. Toilets all dirty and disgusting. There is dust all over the place. Don’t be fooled by the pictures, they are probably 10 years old and from then nobody ever took care of the place.

Two of us checked into this delightful Riad for a week. When we arrived we met the manager, we paid tourist tax (many countries request this and it was advertised prior too) the manager explained clearly everything about the accommodation; meal times the areas to enjoy etc.
He also very kindly provided us not one but 2 maps! One that depicts the riad and smaller streets and a map of the Medina, on both clearly pointed out the property and main sites then also told us recommended times to visit the square. VERY HELPFUL AND SAVES US ALOT OF TIME :) we were grateful to say the least.
We were shown our room and explained its features then left in peace to settle.
All staff at the property were so helpful and kind! On two occasions we told Aziz (the lovely man working nights) that we would be gone before 07.00 or 08.00 on different days for excursions so he made sure we still got breakfast! Before the actual time of 8-12. This was so kind and saved us from starving half the day! On the second occasion he even ran out to get bread! A big thank you (merci) to AZIZ!
We had most breakfasts on the lovely terrace and also had shisha on 2 nights :)
Our room was a great size! Bed comfortable, extra furniture like tables and traditional seat, the bathroom fine and shower hot :)
The Location is great! In the Medina, right near a great hamam spa, short walk from the square but AWAY FROM alot of the city noise so you get a good nights rest!

Albeit this was my first experience with a riad… and I think I've been ruined. This is a French family run riad near the bab doukala — great location, 10 mins walk to the main square and steps away from the nouvelle ville. We were warmly welcomed by the staff that gave us a map and quizzed us on the "what if's" like if a route was closed or a main gate was closed. The family was very personallable (sp) even the two highschool aged children.
We were there during a rainy week, but were provided with excellent advice on places to check out, directions etc. One cold and rainy night they even ordered the best pizza I've had probably ever so we didn't have to go out (and I can eat pizza).
Mornings the l'hôtesse prepared a wonderfully basic spread where ever in the riad, she also cleaned our room spectacularly — while very shy, she always had a warm smile.
The actual riad had a cooling pool (to which we didn't need), scalding hot showers for those that need such a thing (like me), hot coffee pot in the morning, and the possibility of running a wine tab till we left. Had some of our essential clothing washed by a local that they arranged. Style of the riad was Art Deco, modern, and with euro and Moroccan influences throughout this was definitely more than just a guest house but a home.
You don't get a key to this place but there is ALWAYS someone on shift to answer the door — regardless of the hour.
