El Fenn is simply magical. From the moment you walk through the door, you are in another world. Luxury and comfort combine with a relaxed and informal atmosphere you can totally relax and enjoy your time. The staff are wonderful and the rooms and public areas are full of incredible art and lots of places to hide away and relax. Amazing.

I went to the terrasse a little bit before sunset the place was super nice with an amazing view, the stuff on commend lovely and friendly checking on you and the smile doesn’t leave there faces. Spent around 1h enjoying multiple backgrounds for pictures, they enjoyed letting me take my ease and feel comfortable. Thank you. Highly recommend 💝

It was unprofessional service, the prices were beyond the limits, in addition to this, people weren't allowed to take photos which is something disappointing. In brief, as a Moroccan client, I won't recommend this place at all.

I felt at home here. The property is so beautiful and the attention to detail is amazing. The staff helped me on numerous occasions, remembered my name and made me feel like I belonged.

The people are super nice, the service is excellent. The riad is beautiful, rooms are comfortable, plush and designed well, all are different, the rooftop aerie is super comfortable, cozy, and a great spot to have drinks and a meal and look out over enchanting Marrakech.

Great location. Uncomfortable bed, very mediocre food. Hammam and massage in their “spa” is a bad joke.
Overpriced and very disappointing.

I went to this place yesterday, and I was so disappointed by the service quality of the staff, first of all :
— Once I went there they told me don't take pictures, it's forbidden, and unfortunately the reason I went there because I was so amazed by the place cause people was sharing beautiful pictures in this place in social media, but they didn't let me take pictures at all.
— Second thing I went there in 6 : 30pm and one of those persons who is working there he said at 7 pm you should go cause we close our doors I said okay but it's not mentioned in the website or any other social media sites of your place, he said "we don't share this kind of information".
— Last but not least, It's not available to pay in cash, they make you pay by visa or master card, and it's an obligation. Even they can't let you choose between cash or card, and the way they told us wasn't respectful at all.
Actually I'm used to visit allot of places in Marrakesh, but it's the first time I feel disrespected and discriminated.

Of all the hotels I've visited in the world, El Fenn is the most enchanting. Everyone treats me like I'm special. What matters to me seems to matter to the warm and professional staff very much. There are more than a dozen inviting spots in the riad that have lured me to relax. Reserve room 19 if available and eat here.

It was amazing the whole atmosphere was wonderful and perfect for a quiet get away the foyer was fantastic and colourful the tortoises were a great surprise and has a great location hidden near the square in the old city. Food was brilliant however not as Moroccan as we would have liked the pool was perfect in a jungle like wonderland and shaded for the over powering at times sun XX would largely reccomend.

Beautiful surrounding. Food was just OK and the service was absolutely terrible. 3 course set menu and added 7.5% obligatory service charge. We had to ask for alcohol in a cocktail as it was meant to be gin but just tasted like water and cucumber. Basic small portions very disappointed about the the price and poor service. Do not recommend at all. We were not happy to pay service charge after this experience and they made us pay this.

Great place for a drink. We would have eaten dinner here if they had an a al cartel menu. A fixed price menu (reasonable price) is available, but we didn't want that much food and didn't care for the mains. (

Authenticity, charm, calm, vintage chic Deco. For those who want to unplug and change their scenery. The service is personalized and charming. The rooms have a unique Deco with marled objects. Close to the Center. Quality cuisine, simple wine menu but tasteful and excellent cocktail… difficult to find better.

Personalized friendly service. Superb location. We loved El Fenn.

Had a very nice set menu here (3 course 450MDH P/P) and some drinks on the terrace beforehand (60MDH for a beer or glass of house wine). Staff friendly. Service a little slow, but no slower than anywhere else in Morocco (just their style). A lovely setting for either dinner and drinks or just one of the two. Great sunset views too if you're into that.

We went there for a drink, we called the establishment before who told us to come at 5pm to enjoy the terrace.
5pm, we are told in a rather nonchalant and exasperating way that the terrace is privatized all evening, that one can not access it and that in any case it opens only at 5.30 pm.
Then we were asked to manage ourselves this misunderstanding with the person we had on the phone and convince him to welcome us (Ah yes finally it is not privatized at all this terrace)! Conclusion:
1 — liar, not professional, and dishonest staff
2 — dismal reception and cruel lack of communication between the various services
3 — no excuse or even a sorry smile
To believe that they are interested only by bloggers and instagrammers that they invite with fiercely to advertise!
The place looks beautiful certainly but I will never come back! Riads like that there's a shovel in Morocco!
The FENN (which means perfectly sublime) is not Fenn at all in my experience;)
A good hearing.

Food was not great and service was worse. Expensive and not worth the money. Disappointed because it was recommended by several people and has gotten good reviews. They wouldn’t let us eat outside or on the roof terrace as they had promised over the phone when I made the reservation. The grounds are beautiful for sure but definitely bummed it didn’t live up to the hype.

Dream Hotel in the ideal location in Marrakech. Wonderful service, delicous food, decoration, hammam and a great shop. We hope to return again soon.

El Fenn is a beautiful Riad with incredible, friendly service. Their attention to detail is just perfect. I enjoyed every minute of my time there and can't way to go back.

This is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I have ever enjoyed. From the moment you enter the Riad you feel transported from the bustle of the Medina into a welcoming, tranquil and somewhat magical environment. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful with restaurant reservations, private tours, transportation and even a cooking class with their head chef. The food at the hotel is the best we had in Marrakech (we are foodies! ) and the rooftop view is sublime. We visited "other" high end resorts while there and felt we had made the right decision to book El Fenn and that it suited our style perfectly. It's luxury is expressed on a more artistic, personal and sophisticated level and is less commercial and ostentatious. I actually missed our room for many days after leaving our 6 night stay. The place has a unique quality that I believe attracts like minded guests. We bumped into people we knew from far away and befriended others during our visit. I cannot wait to return…

Great Riad owned by sister Richard Brunson, friendly staff and a wonderful terrace with pool and with breakfast sofas. Very cozy place and do not say that noisy bough next door. Large cozy rooms with huge bathroom and stylish design. I recommend to book in advance the upper floors.

Simply stunning. If you can’t stay or dine here at least go for a drink on the roof to get out of the chaos below before getting lost in the souks again. There are a number of places to relax including the courtyard and the attention to detail is truly amazing. There is also a ground floor shop and bar that non-residents can visit. We visited in November this year which was perfect, having travelled through Marrakech in the middle of the summer when it was simply too hot to function I’d say El Fen is prefect for escaping the autumn blues of Europe. In peak season it is not easy to get the suite you want as it’s so popular but they informed me that they have other locations around morocco and now in Scotland. If they are anything like this hotel then they are well worth the visit.

Dinning on the terrace with pools with set lunch menu at 250mad per person. The food is pretty yummy and portion is perfect, love their aubergine salad. But the salmon like omelette cake with cheese is the only thing we dont like. Great service! Only cards accepted, no cash.

Definitely not the best riad we have seen. If you want to come visit, you need an appointment for a "tour" (tour of what exactly? ) otherwise staff are pretty arrogant.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at El Fenn. Full of beautiful art and cool decor, El Fenn successfully straddles a thin line between being authentic and trendy. We booked two days in the "Little Sister" and really appreciated our oasis in the medina. The roof top patio and pool are worth a day visit alone. Also, staff are very helpful and friendly. We especially liked Mahmoud!

Everything was perfection — we didn't want to leave! El Fenn is an oasis in the middle of the medina and one of the most romantic places I have ever stayed. The service is outstanding, the restaurant has the most delicious food, the hamman was a highlight, the art on the walls is engaging, the huge bed is impossible leave, the leather floors soft underfoot, the view from the roof terrace is the best show in town… I could go on and on. I cannot recommend this place highly enough — nothing else compares.

Mazes of hallways, rooms, courtyards filled with chirping birds, roofdeck — — many chairs and couches tucked away in private corners to relax on.

Our stay in El Fenn was a wonderful experience. My partner and I were welcomed at the Airport by a driver from El Fenn and were driven to the hotel in the Medina. The hotel entrance is in a small ally. The gate door opened and we stepped into the magical historic hotel that consists of three connected riads. Each of these open air court yards have a different look and feel, filled with colours, plants, trees, works of art, seats and sofas and beautiful lamps. All decorated in a mixture of Moroccan, Mediterranean and contemporary styles. Our accommodation was an apartment in the front of the hotel. Our spacious apartment, that is situated on the front of the hotel and is spread over three levels, is decorated in a similar stylish way. On top of our apartment is a private roof terrace with sun beds, Bedouin tent and with views over the roof tops of medina of Marrakech and has its own small mini pool/water feature. Breakfast is served on the communal roof terrace, or better roof top gardens, with many sun beds, Bedouin tents for shadow and above all, a majestic view of the main mosque of Marrakech. Breakfast itself was complete and consisted of a mixture of international and local dishes. Walking around in El Fenn itself is already a treat as all rooms and courtyards have their own style and feeling. A hotel filled with great and unique photo opportunities. The Riad EL Fenn is beautiful, the rooftop terrace has stunning views with the Atlas in the background and the roofs of the Medinah. I recommend the breakfast on the terrace, very very nice.
