A very nice place run by a woman with a big heart! Go there you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I, along with another couple spent a week at Riad Al-Bushra in March. It’s an outstanding property, beautifully restored to a very high standard by Gary and Steve, the owners. Booking direct through the website, everything was very organised, starting with the transfer, the driver waiting patiently in the airport terminal for us as we came through. A short 15 minute drive into the city, Gary was waiting for us at the end of the street with another chap with his trolly for the bags. This is where you’re given a brief introduction to the street rules as Gary showed us the route to the Riad. Keep on the right and don’t look the moped riders in the eye. They will avoid you unless you show them them that you are going to get out of their way. Then you’ll meet all the other users of the narrow streets of Marrakesh. Donkey and cart, motorbikes, cyclist and pedestrians all fighting for the same bit of street. It gets narrower as you get into the real souks as the tiny shops encroach with their wares onto the narrow walkway. You soon get used to it and after a day or two, nothing really surprises you. The location of the Riad is superb for visiting many of the essential tourist spots in Marrakesh. Just a 2-3 minute walk to reach the souks and onwards to most places by foot. The big square is only about 10 minutes away and onwards from there to some spectacular gardens and historic buildings.

We just loved the riad. Every single detail is perfect and well-thought of. We could not be happier with our choice!

We loved our stay at Riad Al Amine. First of all, Karen, Hassan, and their staff are wonderful. They are kind, generous, good advice, have good plans for tours, excursions, car rental… they're welcome to their home where there are only 5 rooms, which is warmer than in some other riads where we don't take care of ourselves, our well-being. The riad is very well located, quiet area, close to shops, 600m from the place jema el fna… The breakfast is hearty and you can even eat there at lunchtime and in the evening by booking in the morning. The rooms are very typical, colorful, decorated… there's soap, shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer in the bathroom, the towels and the sheets feel good and are soft. The wonderful terrace on the upper floor offers a beautiful view. We have already tested other Riad and this one is really the best. You can also book with carine for 15 euros, the taxi that will take you from the airport to the entrance of the medina where we will pick you up to take you to the Riad. I truly recommend it! I just loved this place, it felt like home! Steve and Gary are such great hosts with great humour and genuine hospitality. The perfect base to explore Marrakech the souks, the main square and sightseeing hotspots are only short walks away.

Beautiful place, superb attention to detail, felt thoroughly spoilt.

Serene, calm and relaxing atmosphere. A pool for dipping and a terrace for breakfasting and soaking up the sun. Yards from the bustle of the Medina souks but you wouldn't know it! Knowledgeable and attentive hosts who look after you.

Had an amazing time in Marrakech and staying here defiantly contributed to that! The day trip to Atlas mountain and having a home cooked meal with Hassan's family was a highlight. I would recommend the cooking experience the Riad has to offer as you get to head out with the staff to buy the ingredients and then help make a morrocan meal afterwards. It was one of the best meals I had during my stay there! Thanks again Carine, Daniel, Hassan and Latifa for making this a memorable trip! I hope to visit again!

Faultless — a little gem hidden away in the medina. The whole place has been lovingly restored with impeccable taste. Beautiful little touches to the decor everywhere in the riad. The rooms are all unique, quirky little touches help retain the Moroccan essence, but brought right up to date. Little touches like robes, slippers & towels for sunbathing on the terrace absolutely make it.
The breakfast is a sumptuous treat & sets you up for the day.
Gary is a wonderful host, recommending places to visit/see/eat at. Attentive but not interfering with your time — he has a wicked sense of humour. This place was recommended by family & I was came as a birthday treat from sister & brother in law. Loved the entire experience — can't wait to come back.

Set in the heart of the old Medina and a stones throw from the souks and market Riad Al-Bushra is a perfect hideaway. Ask the owners — Gary and Steve — about airport transfer (could save you lots of time and money). The rooms are individual and unique in decor — this is a place to be enjoyed. Breakfast is served on rooftop terrace with stunning views over the city and even the Atlas Mountains.

A true architectural gem & a heaven in the orderly chaos of the dusty, dazzling, and diverse Medina of Marrakech. Add a great host, the one and only Gary, and one cannot ask for more. Would highly recommend this amazing place to experience Marrakech.

Had an amazing time at the Riad Al Bushra,, Gary made us all feel so welcome. Great location in walking distance from the square but still very peaceful so you can chill out. Breakfast was fabulous with fresh fruit, croissants and coffee everyday. Definitely a place to stay we will be back x.
