Amazing place and host was very nice.
Beautiful Riad… no doubt about that. Very quiet therefor quite scary Service could improve. Not very welcoming. Booked for 2 nights as had an early flight next day. Breakfast was included which was very simple. Bread and butter and pancake looking something which was very hard. The last night we asked for 2 coffees… was given 2 tiny little black coffee shots. When we were about to leave for the airport at 4.30am was asked to pay for the 2 coffees (if thats what it was) 40 Dhirams… so just ober £3. My problem is that I paid for 2 nights with breakfast yet only had breakfast one morning. I understand 4.30 am was a bit early for breakfast but atleast they could have not charged us for that bitter black coffee shot. Or offered us a drink before we left. No water, no telephone, no TV in room. Wifi was terrible. What if their was an emergency an we couldnt get out of the room… how would we contact reception? No prices of drinks or anything if we wanted to order. We did not want to eat at the hotel as they said lunch was €10 and dinner €15. We prefered to get our own food so we had a choice what we wanted to eat. Communication was very difficult. A guy who I believe is the manager walks around in a vest and talks like a zombie with no expression on his face. He tried to organise a taxi for us to take us to the medina and back and said will charge us around 450 dhirams (over £35) yet we walked to the nearest village and got a taxi for 10 dhirams per person (80p).
