I took my girlfriend of 6 years to Zoetry in early December 2022 and proposed! It was an absolutely amazing experience with friendliness from the staff that you never quite feel up in America. The food and drinks were great, the location and rooms are beautiful, the amenities were a great time too. Every single worker we spoke to treated us like royalty and friends. They all knew that I had proposed and the treatment was awesome! I will remember the trip forever and a handful of the people we would see there every day forever. Thank you Zoetry!

Very helpful staff, supportive Butler, amazing accommodations. One of the quietest, nicest places we’ve visited. No loud music, food is just okay but accommodations are great. Upgrade your visit, it worth it.

Beautiful boutique-like resort. Quiet, intimate, relaxing. Enjoyed hydro-therapy at the spa multiple days. Finished with a lovely couples massage before we left. Recommend if you are looking for a quiet, low key, romantic get-away.

Very intimate. Not a lot to do like larger resorts but if you’re with that special person it’s great.

The Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita is a lovely, small, boutique hotel. The staff, service and food were impeccable. The low key, high R&R feel was perfect for recharging and reconnecting.

Amazing staff, food, drinks & atmosphere. Highly recommend the Impressions Suites due to the top notch Butlers (Omar, Fernando & Fernanda) & the private daily breakfast’s in the kitchen with Chef Eddie. The Impressions suite is HUGE & well worth the added cost. The private pool on our balcony was heated & perfect for a private afternoon siesta. Cannot say enough about the staff at The Zoetry. And ask for the waiter Gabriel at Canoa, who is also the Sommelier & does the daily wine, tequila & Mezcal tastings. Do yourself a favor & go!

My husband and I just returned from our stay at Zoëtry Paraiso. It was the best vacation experience of our lives. Everything was extraordinary, from the dining, to the atmosphere, to the staff.

Everything was going great; good food, spectacular room, good service until about halfway during our stay. We had $310 cash stolen from our room. This is very disappointing. Such a great hotel and location ruined. I worked hard to save up for years for my trip, and my entire vacation was ruined by this incident. For this reason I don't recommend this resort! I DO NOT feel safe staying here! Their solution was to reimburse for Covid tests. Not Cool!

Amazing and relaxing at the same time. Excellent service and incredible gourmet food. Suites are spacious and with inmejorable views. Nice bathroom with outdoor shower and huge bathtub. We can ask for more. Seaweed is not letting us enjoy the ocean but you have 2 nice pools, 1 is seawater with jets.

Old resort in need of a full upgrade. Limited choice of liquor and menus that does not change. We were there two weeks and even good food get boring, and then there is the bed bugs and totally unhelpful amr and air canada staff.

The service was amazing. Fernanda (butler service) and Phillipe (Kaax restaurant) were tops among many of our favorites. The resort offered us what we needed… a time to disconnect and relax. This is a very quiet resort. The food and service were great. Though the rooms could use a little updating. Please check all reviews and chat sites. Keep all documents and emails. Oh, bring mosquito repellant.

I’ve stayed at Breathless, Secrets and Dreams and my expectations for Zoetry was very high. I am so disappointed. I have had better service at all the other properties. We are platinum members and we feel like there is no effort to keep us happy. We are here celebrating an anniversary and there are no frills no extras no chocolates on our pillows … it’s the small things.

I will go back a thousands times. The food was great, the rooms were amazing and the staff was even better. It’s such an intimate resort. I loved everything about it.

Despite rainy weather, we had a fabulous week. Superb food and gracious servers.

The hotel is small and relaxing the staff members are super friendly they will go above and beyond to make your stay welcome but, the reason for my 3 stars is this, My room had spider webs in a door that connects to bathroom and bedroom together. The plunge pool in the balcony looked as if it had not been cleaned in a while so we could not use it, way too many ants and bugs. And there is a swamp right in front of the building where my suite was and it was very filthy and smelly the beach is horrible the smell of Algae was very very strong, so my belly was a little upset most of the time, and the food was not at all what you expect is like they were not even trying to put any flavor in it. The spa was great only place smelling really good got a package but, Unfortunately could not use the coupons they provide at time of arrival because they can't be combined with packages.

Stayed at the zoetry for three nights. Overall the service was excellent, and the staff was beyond friendly. Other then that thats all this hotel has going for it. Beach is filled with seaweed and is unswimable, and the smell is like rotten eggs that comes from it. You have almost zero ability to go shopping due to it being a very hard hotel to get to. The food is super fancy, a bit much if your pallet is average food. Odds are very low I will return here. However if your the kind of person that stays in your room the entire time your on vacation. This might be a good spot for you.

Excellent service, all inclusive hotel, beautiful suites with terrace and bath tub, spa and dreamy temazcal, excellent food in its 3 restaurants and exclusive and private area in Impression.

Excellent rest hotel. It has a boat service, where you can travel along the coast with a catamaran or in a boat that can go to the villagerolandi zootry of Isla Mujeres, at no cost.
The food is very rich with excellent presentation, most are cooked by some chef and everything is for all-inclusive a la carte service, some drinks have extra cost.
The hotel is small compared to other complexes, but each of the rooms are large, luxurious and comfortable. It has a spa service with some activities included, such as temazcal, hydrotherapy, saltwater pool, among others.
Overall, it is a hotel that I recommend and would return to if you wanted to rest. It is not a party hotel and in the evenings has no activities, practically from 11pm there are no more people in the lobby or pool bar.

My husband and are staying at this place. This is out third day. We are staying on the 1 bedroom Butler Suite with Plunge Pool. We have been to different other hotels and thought this would be a great choice due to the reviews. We were wrong. I have attached a picture of what your view is going to look like. The website says magnificent views, but this is what it looks like. You step outside your room to a fetid smell and this view. The smell is so bad that you cant even be outside to enjoy your pool. I understand this is not the resort's fault but a warning would have been nice. The resort pictures are a complete fake, nowhere they tell you about this, very disappointing, you will NOT be able to use the beach. The food is okay, they have different choices and is usually pretty decent. You do have to wait about 20-30 minutes for your food to be brought to you as all restaurants are a la carte, so they could do better here. Now, we paid for the butler service. This is a joke!. DO not get a butler. They add you via this WASUP app and you are supposed to text them when you need something. When booked, I was told I would be getting a phone to contact not this. Anyway you cant even get the butler to return a text message. Let's put it this way. I sent a message 2 hours ago to ask about the menu and this guy said in route, he never replied or even showed up to our room after it. Yes that is 2 hours, anytime you ask for something, you never get a text back.

The service here is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

Rooms at the new impressions area are outstanding. Service has been excellent. Food and beverage has been excellent. The only negative was that my wife had a bad experience at the spa.

Fancy place, good food and great selection of wines. Not a family oriented place though. We were there for a wedding but I prefer out family oriented resort.

Vacationed here May 2017. This was my first time at a Zoetry resort and I had a fabulous time. Unlike most 21 year olds my boyfriend and I aren't crazy partiers and it took a while to find a resort that was smaller and more laid back. This resort was perfect for us. Even though we paid a lot more than we planned, it was worth it. First off the shuttle from the airport in Cancun to the resort was great. Champagne was popped and poured for us. Cold towels were also provided, which was much apreciated. Our room met our expectations in every way; the bed was super comfy, the bathroom was gorgeous and our terrace had an amazing view. We actually spent a lot of time outside our room lounging with our feet in the plunge pool (to cold to actually sit in). Our mini fridge was stocked daily with our preferred beer and liquors which was great. A short 5 minute walk to the pool area and restaurants from our room, which was fine with us. We ate outside with wonderful views from all the restaurants. A la carte only. But had a ton of variety to choose from. Food was 4-5 star and definitely surpassed my expectations. There were never lines for restaurants and the servers were fun and joked around with us. We participated in bracelet making and cigar rolling and that was super neat. We never had to wait for lounges on the beach or by the pool. And there were very few kids (great for us). At night things got pretty quiet but the bar was still open around 12am.

Been to Zoetry 4x and AM Resorts alternate properties a couple more. My first two stays at Zoetry were excellent (Punta Cana) until the third. Bed bugs ruined my stay and the resort did nothing to satisfy or retain and after 6 requests, the GM never followed up. My 4th stay was at Zoetry Paraiso in Mexico. I arrived, wrong room was given and it took over a day to have the room situation fixed. The service people at the desk aren't empowered to do something when guests have issues. I demanded to speak to the GM and with reluctance, it finally happened day 2. The GM was helpful, as expected. We eventually got the right room. Although the service here was good, there are downsides to this resort. The food is mediocre and, although they boast a private beach experience, the beach is really not good. Even most resorts would clean and scrape sand of weeds and debris, they did not. There's no way anyone can swim. Pool is the better choice — but why go to an ocean to sit at a pool? All pool chairs are taken from early AM (they lack the quantity) by guests who leave a hat on the chair and then walk away for hours. No control here. Many guests were upset. Decor is dated and still very much covered in 80's sponge painted walls. The spa is good and the gym is too for an all-inclusive. The rooms are a great size. No complaints. I give it it a 2 overall but the service is a 3. The resort did a great job of cleaning and the grounds were very well kept.

This is our second Zoetry. They do not disappoint. We worked with Ricardo Sanchez to increase our membership in UVC. Rest, relax, enjoy!

Such potential to be a great resort, unfortunately, no one is managing the place. No beach access. No modern amenities. Great place if we paid 1/4 what they asked… Not a good value. We even spent the extra $2000 for the Butler, but he was MIA for our 5 day stay. Not a bad place, but so severely over priced, it was hard to enjoy. There was no privacy at our private pool/balcony; constant traffic from the staff all hours of the day and night. Save some money and stay elsewhere.

Been there twice. Is one of the greatest gems on the Yucatán Peninsula. This is definitely my home away from home!

Beautiful place, suites are well equipped and the views are amazing. You won't have to lift a finger. The staff over accommodating and super nice. Great place to unplug relax and be pampered.

Very nice and nice Hotel. The location and the entrance are quite hidden and somewhat cramped, but nothing that affects the experience itself.

It is a beautiful place, the rooms beautiful and comfortable, the attention unbeatable, good food and rich cocktails, a spa with all type of services, a Marina with several boats for walks and fishing a place 100% advisable.

Excellent service. Each person strives to do their best. Very good location, clean and cozy. Very rich and varied food.

Stellar resort, though not without fault. This resort includes all dining and drinking in it's price and it's pretty valuable. We had access to a variety of drinks at all times and felt free to order as much and many items at each of the three restaurants as we wanted. We developed quite a relationship with the Kaax restaurant, with it''s management recognizing one of my family member's dietary restrictions and providing a custom dinner menu just for her. This was definitely unexpected and highly appreciated. The rest of the dining was excellent and will certainly make everything back home taste like something is missing. The concierge and front desk were a little varied — — although they helped us book events, as soon as we arrived we we're unable to book any special ceremonies or boat rides as they were already booked weeks in advance. The fee they charged us for transportation to an amusement park was nearly double what the cab driver would have charged us if we booked through him — — a little shady! We only found out because even though we booked two-way transportation, they only gave us one-way and told us to find our own fare back (paid for by the resort of course). The cab driver, not knowing we intended to go through the resort, quoted us a fare of 730 pesos ($38 USD) although we paid $130 USD to the resort for transportation. It all seemed a little shady, to say the least. It's pretty clear that booking events is one of the way they seem to make a lot of money.

Don't believe their website. You only get housekeeping once a day not three. Minibar is filled once a day not twice. The housekeeper spilled my prescription drugs and mixed up my medicine. I did not realize this till I got home. It took me a week to recover from being overdosed. I could have been killed. I emailed Dante, the manager, about this and never received a response. I guess he does not care if his guests almost die because of his staffs negligence.

Very quiet Hotel for family. A bit expensive but for the amenities it offers…

Between the gentle rustling of the palm trees, the sound of the ocean rolling into the shoreline and hearing the exotic macaws say "hola" while you're enjoying breakfast al fresco, you'll have a hard time believing this place is just a 20 minute drive from Cancun. If you're looking to hideaway for a while in style, luxury and comfort, then Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita is the destination you've been looking for! Their commitment to customer service and execution of the all-inclusive dining experience is unmatched and I've never stayed at a resort that cared more for my personal comfort. It feels more like spending time at a distant relative's insanely awesome compound than staying at a resort. This is the second time that my husband and I have visited Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita (the first was our honeymoon in 2015) and it won't be the last. The customer service is exemplary at every turn. For example, Omar at La Canoa took amazing pictures for us to capture our unforgettable Chef's Table Tasting in the kitchen. Edgar and Jesus from La Canoa always greeted us by name and with a huge smile. Caesar greeted us every morning with a sincere and boisterous, "Sundquists in the house! " Manny always created specialty non-alcoholic cocktails for me (i. E. A blended coffee smoothie, a red berry "martini" and a "melon martini"), because he remembered that I don't drink alcohol. Armando led a spectacular cabernet sauvignon tasting in the Wine Cellar.

This was our 15 year anniversary. We had a great time. Everyone is nice and wait on you constantly. We hated to leave. We hope to go back in a couple of years.

One of the nicest places that I had stayed in a long time. The service was amazing, the food was great, the facilities very high end — the personal plunge pool was a highlight, but best was the view.

We returned from our Sept 26, 2017 and would highly recommend this resort to anyone. Service was awesome and the entire trip was very relaxing. Met some great people and the staff was awesome. Food was great and the poolside and room service was excellent.

The rooms and staff are amazing. The food is extremely hit or miss. Either it's 100% wonderful or absolutely terrible.

Went here last year. The staff the the Best this place has to offer (hint: do not let go of your staff) the food was mediocre "average". This place is kind of boring for kids or for a younger crowd but, in their defense this resort is good adult getaway with your partner.

Absolutely love this place. Have been coming back here for almost 10 years. Spa is amazing, staff is fantastic. Beach? Don't come here if you are looking for white sandy beach. Not here. Food? Hit or miss. We keep coming back here because of convenience (20 minutes from airport in private car), staff friendliness, spa and gorgeous ocean front suites. So why 3 stars? One word: kids. It is not kids friendly resort, there is absolutely nothing for them to do here but some people choose to bring their kids. Little kids. And they get bored… loud, jumping, screaming. Out of 10 times that we were here it happened 2-3 times. We here now and it feels like a kindergarten outing. Including a few months old baby crying by the pool. I understand that this is not adults only and it's a shame as it will make a difference for our future bookings.

This all inclusive boutique aims to please. Perfect for the couple seeking a low key pampered vacation. Nothing more to do than mellow out. If you choose to take advantage of the included extras, book upon arrival or you may find yourself on unending waiting lists. Wanting a serious chill pill come here to enjoy a tranquil setting.

Hello everyone! My husband and I stayed 4 days in zoetry resort. I really enjoyed beautiful environment and amazing natural. I did not like a beach …, very small and a lot of seaweed… I have been in many places, but this beach I did not enjoy. Room was gorgeous with ocean view and private pool (but our private pool I little bit disappointed — not heated and no filter) — no reason pay for your private pool and never use it because it was cold one! I really like the atmosphere but resort has only 3 restaurants (one of them was closed every night) and 4 days did not change the menu. Food is really good, healthy and delicious! But could be good if they change a menu at lease for breakfast. Resort is very very very very quiet! I mean I like a good and quiet atmosphere, but not more than 4-5 days. No entertainment or even quiet music at bar… at least they could have a nice romantic music at bar … or evening time for diner. Service was excellent! People extremely nice, freindly and helpful! Resort is far away from anything, if you want to go out … you have to take a car for 40-55 min. Thank you so much for everything.

The resort is amazing. This is a very quiet and peaceful place, definitely not for those who want to party. The food and amenities are fantastic. Zoetry gas the most friendly and helpful staff you will find anywhere. Highly recommend!

We had a spectacular stay. The staff all seem to love their respective jobs. The service was truly legendary. The resort was beautiful designed to compliment the already gorgeous views of the ocean. You won't find a buffet here — all the food we ordered was delicately prepared, delicious, and presented with grace. We plan to return soon.

Relaxing and quiet. Could be better at communicating prices and options but after a bit of asking, answers are forthcoming.

We spent our honeymoon here and couldn't have picked a better place to spend our dream vacation. This resort has impeccable service and their attention to detail is bar none. We will definitely be returning!

The most luxuriest hotel in Riviera Maya, nice beach, rooms, food, but if you are looking to party, this hotel is not for you.

Very friendly reception, think qye season due to some small details escape, otherwise it was luxury, excellent view and very quiet beach.

This place is amazing! The staff are attentive and the food is fabulous. The place is worth all their accreditations and more. Would have given it 5 stars but they were working around the area I was located and that was a bit disturbing while trying to sleep in. Overall, perfect for those who prefer a quiet, private setting. Only 90 oceanfront suites so expect attention!

We have been twice to Zoetry, 5 years ago and more recently earlier this year (2015). At Zoetry, the answer is always yes!. What you get from this resort is great customer service and a facility filled with people who want to ensure you have a true luxury experience. Outstanding beach side and pool side service compared to other resorts tha we have travelled to. The addition of included laundry and international calling is very helpful also. The vegetarian options that are available are also excellent compared to other resorts (though we are not vegetarians). Also wanted to thank a few notable workers during our stay: Omar, Caesar, Alfonso and Firmin were all there to make sure we had a good time. Also, Enrique, Edgar, and Victor were the best waitors we have had at any resort weve stayed thus far. What I really love about this place is that everything is ocean front, they dont overcrowed any area, they are able to accomodate your plans very well, and there are no "tiers", no reservations required, and you dont have to worry about a beach chair because they are enough to go around. All of the beach chairs/loungers are in a single line. The sand is very soft. The suite itself is very well equipped and large. We stayed on the 2nd floor both times and loved it. I'll take this time to address a few things which you dont get at zoetry, which may help your planning. The beach is quiet, no waves, and its not crystal clear blue. There are no shows.

Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita is an amazing place in general, but if you're looking for a DESTINATION WEDDING venue, it's the absolute best. We had a 75 person destination wedding at Zoetry in December 2014 and the Zoetry staff, especially Alejandra (the wedding coordinator), threw us a spectacular event in every way. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the staff is well-versed in organizing and throwing weddings, and Alejandra knows the ins and outs of all of the details, from decorations to bad weather precuations. It was truly the best event that we could have asked for — the place is pure luxery and relaxation — and guests were extremely well taken care of. For potential Zoetry brides/grooms/mothers of brides/mothers of grooms: We are from New York City and are used to an immediate/24 hour response rate via email. Alejandra often took a few days/weeks to respond to us (especially when the wedding was 6 months away) which made me nervous, but she really did have EVERYTHING under control. There are about 50 weddings at Zoetry per year, so she can't respond to all brides constantly — if I could do it over again, the only thing I would change is stressing out when I didn't hear from her — everything I sent to her was taken care of even when I didn't get a timely response. I would be happy to send pictures to anyone who is thinking of getting married in or around the Cancun area. I could not speak more highly about this resort as a wedding venue.

Went here on my honeymoon. It was absolutely amazing! Every staff member went out of their way to accommodate us and knew what we liked (drinks, where to sit on beach/pool area, etc. ) within 2 days. I would go back here in a heartbeat!
