This place was absolutely amazing. Probably the best customer service I have ever seen. The food was fantastic! They really live to spoil you here. The one downside was there was a lot of seaweed on the ocean. Normally at this time of year it's gone but they had a longer season this year. Even with this one thing I still give it 5 stars. Love love love this place!

Purchased the Diamond Club package, and their was both Diamond about it. Poor customer service from the Diamond Club rep Alehandra. She had a “ I don’t care, ” additive from our first encounter to our last. So why still 3 stars. Because our room was at least Diamond worthy. 2 jetted tubes one indoor and one in the balcony. Room 1402 was breathtaking with the ocean front view. They stated we had butlers as well, but never say them. Food and service was great. Small portions and Americanised, but still tasteful. If you want clear ocean waters, this place is not for you. Filled with sea weed. But it’s like it’s own private place. Has it’s pro and cons. Will I go back, not sure. Part of me yes because of the room, part of me not for the service.

Fantastic resort. Great staff and service and an unbelievable facility. The Hideaway guests have access to the whole resort and it is great. The best thing is the privacy. If you want to visit the crowds of Cancun but live in the laptop of luxury away from the crowds then this is for you.

Went there for our honeymoon, and we had $100 stolen out of my wallet. I forgot it in the room for 20 min and ran up to get it from the beach and the money was gone. It was the only time I left it in the room the whole trip. We filed an investigation, the hotel said they would give us the money back and never refunded the money back to us. We also got horrible food poisoning from the Japanese restaurant. We were still sick for about a week after our trip after a full night of throwing up. The beach was filled with seaweed when we went, but that was out of their hands because of the tide. Overall, I probably would have gone somewhere else.

Had a great time at the Hideaway at Royalton Riviera Cancun. The food was amazing. (Shoutout to Enrico! ) We initially did not like the view from our Junior Suite room as we were looking at a forest but it eventually grew on us. We were on our mini-moon, we'd rather see the beach or at least the pools. They wanted a couple hundred dollars extra for any other rooms.

The resort is absolutely breathtaking. The food was delicious! The customer service was on point. This was my first time at an all-inclusive resort and I must say that I'm addicted to them now. I just returned two weeks ago and I'm already planning my next trip to Hideaway at Royalton. I can't stop thinking about it. Love, love, love!

Best resort I've ever been to, but when I didn't buy the Travel Smart Package — Diamond Club, service went way down hill. Paid double what I should of for service that others paid half what I did to get. Beautiful, don't get me wrong… but you have to be diamond club to get a table for dinner, or you need to buy a bottle of wine to make a reso. Trust me. Buy the wine.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing staff. This place is massive. The only down side is if you are looking to go off resort and explore it is away from everything. But if you are looking for a relaxing vacation with incredible food and great entertainment then this is the place.

Overall a great resort in a great area of Mx just south of Cancun. Great service and good food. If you are in the Diamond area the best at the bar is Lino, Fernando, and Henry behind the bar on the beach. Talk to Linda if you want to buy a timeshare. Her service is exceptional. Also. Laura in the timeshare office is my favorite person on this resort. Just a genuine good person.

Rooms were spacious, food was good, service was second to none. The location is beautiful, only a short journey from Cancun. I cannot credit the staff enough, they were lovely.

We are staying at Royalton Hideaway. It is part of Royalton complex. Left north side is for families with children. Center — mixed families and diamond club members, right south is adults only section. We are staying in adults only section. I am a very picky person, so to get good reviews from me is somewhat difficult. Nevertheless, food is very good. Probably the best I've tried in resorts. Service is very good. Drinks are ok. This is our fourth day and the weather is not cooperating. 73degrees high and windy. The company is trying very hard to entertain. Various shows through out the day and at night. The room is good. It is on side of the building facing service road, so it is noisy at times. It has partial view of ocean. There is a new hotel construction right in front of our balcony.

This is one of the best all inclusive places I have ever been to. The customer service is mindblowing. Drinks will be delivered to you anywhere on the resort. All of their alcohol is premium too! We stayed in the adults only side which was actually pretty great. Everyone was happy and friendly. The food is the best I've had yet. They have a wonderful seafood spot, tapenyaki place, great steakhouse and the every day buffet is far better than anywhere. The beach was clean and nice. The pools and layout of the resort is pretty unique too. Anything Royalton has my vote.

We loved our stay at the Royalton Hideaway Cancun! It was a surprise gift from our son and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there. Food was sublime; portion sizes were perfect, and all food was very fresh! Kudos to the chefs! Service was outstanding; everyone was very polite and friendly. I can't say enough!

Great Hotel!
All is beautiful! Only downside there is a lot of algae on the beach and in the sea even if it works hard to pick them up.

What a treat. So well designed. Fun in every corner. Never felt lost or overwhelmed by the size. Fun crowd. Never loud. So many choices… Shout out to Daniel from Zumba. The rooms are spectacular. Christian served us at Zen and left us speechless with his attention to detail. ❤

Amazing resort! I can't wait to go back. The rooms are gorgeous, the service amazing and the spa was divine! I recommend everyone to stay at royalton resort.

The stay here has been absolutely amazing. The staff truly are amazing so friendly and go over and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. They food is to die for have never ate so well while away, so hat off to the chefs here at the resort. The scenery is breat taking! Only bad experience I can say is the one bartender I observed getting upset at a guest for not wanting drinks he did not order but was willing to take and the bartender tossed them away in the sink. The other would be everytime I've tried to order Baileys I'm told there is non, this is a shame as it's my drink of choice and have never had an issue getting. Other them this place is paradise and I highly recommend it!

The resort is very nice and very well laid out. The adults only section is only a small section of the larger resort with only one restaurant in the adults only section. The rooms are excellent very clean, and the butler staff is great. The beaches do not have the clearest water and the sand is full of seaweed but they do the best they can to keep them clean. The food was great at all the restaurants. It is a great resorts for families and couples.

The food was amazing. Every restaurant was fantastic. Rooms were Spacious & clean. Employees were helpful & polite. This is a very big resort. Pools & swim up bars at the Hideaway were my favorite places. Very disappointed in the beach & ocean being so nasty. Checkin was not smooth. Our key would not work & it took 3 trips back to the Service desk for the Hideaway, that was pretty far away pulling our luggage back and forth.

Well so far I am on day one here. Booked a ocean view room and was put on the side of the building with shrubs and pavement to look at. Manger wasn't very friendly to us. Dinner wasn't good and when I got back to the room we ordered room service just to see if it was better it wasn't. I came to get in bed the top blanket had snot on it and we had to have a new blanket brought in. When I fell asleep I awoke to a burning sensation on my arm and I had been bitten 5 separate times by a mosquito. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better experience. We are suppose to get the room we booked after 3pm. Hopefully the rest of the trip will be better. Most employees have been friendly.

Outstanding place to stay for an all inclusive. There are so many choices to eat at and our favorite was Armadillo. The manager Gabriel was such a sweet heart and a very hard worker. This place was our favorite because of all the different selections and all the flavors in the dishes. Every single employee here was so very nice and willing to help you out with any need you have. I could go on and on with this resorts. I feel they deserve 6 stars. Ross who works at Nexus tours was very helpful and friendly as well. Please book your next stay here. You will not be disappointed.

We had an amazing stay at this resort. We had a oceanfront suite with a rooftop hot tub and large seating area. Amazing value for this type of room. Beach, drinks, and food were all really good as well. Nightly entertainment was typical of a large resort, but certainly entertaining enough — especially the Mexican Michael Jackson impersonator!
