Fantastic laid back atmosphere. Really nice people working in here, always helpful, always smiling, very hard to leave this place. I think one of the cutest rooftops with a shared kitchen. You never feel alone here! Strongly recommended!

I had an amazing experience at The Green Village. The staff is so friendly, its rare to see a team that supportive and nice to each other and the customers! Everyone was treated with big respect and the place had a lot of postive energy! I would definitely recommend! The management is also very competent and great, very helpful and professional. Thank you for making my stay unbelievable.

We’ve traveled to 25 countries and this is our favorite hotel we’ve ever been to. I’d recommend for mature teens — adults, because it’s not a generic big hotel, and has steep stairs (made from jungle wood). Perfect for people looking for a unique experience, either new travelers or experienced — perfect hotel in my opinion! It has all the luxuries of a great hotel but also the friendly home atmosphere of a hostel, with people hanging out and having fun all the time. The owners and staff are SO friendly and helpful, I think they speak 5 languages between the group. Amazing eco hotel with everything designed from recycled jungle wood. Vegetarian restaurant, great drinks, Netflix on the projector playing over the pool wall. Everyone ends up making friends and chilling on the giant bean bags and tree tables in the open air lounge, or on the rooftop. Great music playing at night, but the sound proofing is great so the rooms are quiet. It feels like a (more fun) home away from home. My teenagers and I love it and are already planning to come back for longer! They even have a guitar and skateboard in the lobby, which my teens loved, as well a tree in the lobby. Does it get any cooler than that?
It’s minutes from the main Ave 5 and beach, but it’s so much fun just hanging out here also!

A beautifull quiet hostel! The stuff here is amazing they're so nice and caring. So far I extended my stay and I have a really good experience here. I highly recommend :)

The hotel is super clean, the decor is pleasant and fun!
The rooms are huge and organized great nothing is missing.
Theres netflix in every room what made our staying even better.
We have stayed in the hotel more than 4 days and it׳s absolutely the best boutique hotel that you’ll find in this area, also the location is perfect!

Excelente trato del personal, las habitaciones son muy cómodas y la temática ecológica me gustó mucho en un ambiente muy tranquilo adecuado para descansar. Una estadía muy agradable a dos cuadras de la quita avenida.

Israeli run hostel /hotel. Walls leak during rain. Obtained permits under suspicious circumstances. Would not recommend.

I would of given it 5 stars but its abit too noisy. Theres a nearby hotel with a roof top club that pumps out music really loud. But apart from that it's perfect. Really big clean rooms. So close to the shops. The breakfast is pretty good too.

Such a cute place! I brought my computer, worked, ate a delicious Niçoise salad, cooled off in the pool and then had dinner with my son (creamy yummy salmon pasta) and we watched the Minions movie while it rained! Staff was so nice and accommodating. Great vibe here — All the staff smiles and says hi. Really quite a gem of a place.

Hotel in excellent location, no need to car or spend in taxis. Easy to move around. Super safe and personalized attention especially from the brothers Jean Paul and Francois. I recommend it!

Me and my wife and are beautiful little daughter came to a 10-day vacation. We arrived to another hotel because we did not know abut this charming hotel, but we received a recommendation for the restaurant in the Green village hotel and went to check it out (That's how we discovered this hotel). We met the lovely chef Leah and we were exposed to Israeli dishes in a Moroccan style, we simply fell in love. From that moment we arrived every morning for breakfast, lunch and dinner and did not care that we had already paid for breakfast at the hotel we were staying at. The receptionist guy at the hotel called Jean Paul was so nice and very cool and showed us the rooms at the hotel, we love't. This Boutique hotel are Highly recommend. Thank you again Leah and Jean Paul it's feel that you love what you do. 5

Great hostel only $18, new beds,, modern designs, kitchen, AC you can't ask for anything else for that price. A+

This place is wry clean, great walking distance to the beach and from 5 avenue where everything is at. The food is fantastic. The staff is amazing if you ever come to playa Del Carmen you should always think of this place first.

They have a good atmosphere that make you feel like home, the staff was very friendly and they know well the place where the food advisable to try and of the room not to mention very cute and comfortable my next visit to playa del Carmen without a doubt, I go back to host here. Continue as well going to be the best hotel without doubt a hug to all the staff lots of luck to the friend RANCH.

First Hostel/Hotel experience and I'm amaze the place it's easy to find, really clean and beautiful decor, the staff it's friendly and knowledgeable of the area, rooms are nice and spacious and bed and pillow really comfortable. All around amazing worth every penny actually found it too cheap consider how amazing this place is.

Absolutely wonderful! We stayed here with our three kids and everyone was very kind and accomodating… I mean, EXCEPTIONALLY kind! Our children continued to talk about it after we left. The hotel is very clean, very chic, and very cool! The attention to detail in lighting, flooring, natural wood carved spiral staircase and shelving in rooms and other parts of the hotel was exquisite. On our last day, my husband lost our rental car key in the ocean. : (He ran back to the hotel and they all worked frantically to help us find the local agency (we had rented from airport). If that wasn't enough, one of the guys working there went with my husband on bike (yes, they loaned us a bike! ) in search for the rental agency. An hour later they came back and helped us load all our stuff into new rental car. Again, so impressed!
