The property is old and needs to be renovated. Staff is friendly and helpful! Breakfast was average. Honestly the reviews are misleading. Wouldn't stay here again unless it's renovated.

The hotel is very nice has very good location even though some things lack a little maintenance the pool is great but the water a little dirty in the bathrooms the shower is a tub key and there is no tub in the spa the hot tubs do not work.

Gym and spa without air conditioning and the dispenser for drinking water, it only gave hot water, which for a 5-star hotel in the tropical area at 40 degrees plus humidity at 80%, is totally unacceptable.

Service very good. Really nice looking Hotel, and the breakfast delicious and fresh and with a variety of fresh appetizers and fruits every morning.

I loved this hotel the best I visit in years, we went 8 days with my girlfriend and we were delighted. The friendliness of the staff is excellent, the peace that has the place is unique ideal for relaxing, the hotel service is wonderful all we need was resolved from 10 points. The rooms are beautiful and that we bought a simple one. It's inside a condo that's amazing. We have no more words to thank and I recommend it without hesitation. Breakfast is also excellent, plus it has parking and free Wi-Fi. That not everyone gives.

All very well, little removed from the center to walk from the hotel to everything there is in Playa del Carmen, taxis charge 90 MXN minimum even in front of the entrance of Playacar, as you have to walk a lot later, is quiet clean, and is not familiar, kids get bored and it's more to sleep and go out to know, breakfast included but not very variable, restaurant until 3pm no more time, for a good price in OTAS/offers if it is worth a lot but not for normal rate price. It has a view of the golf course that's a Plus!

This hotel is not worth 5 stars not possible to dine and restaurants far away. However the breakfast is plentiful. No bar service after 15:00.

Where you can make a nice breakfast or family dinner with a magnificent pool of crystalline waters the architecture of the hotel is very original made with local building elements especially the lobby of the hotel whose roof is palm fronds. And adorned with beautiful paintings in oil. Very central location you can walk or eat a taxi. To the area. Main of the. Beach.

Even though this hotel pretends to be a 5 star — it is way far fetched. The rooms are great, but service is really poor. Showers don't work, hottub is cold, pool is small and dirty, no dining/bar options, front desk is lousy and it is in the middle of nowhere (I can go on forever). No form of transportation provided to the downtown and back and it is way off. Feels like this hotel where the old and lazy people come to die. ( ( (

It's a 3 star hotel, the beds very comfortable, the breakfast quite varied, no restaurant but you can bring your food and drinks without any problem. It has a pretty nice spa. For the price it is very well.

Room good but the refrigerator downstairs did not cool down. They didn't change it! We had a short in the kitchen they definitely solved the other day. The kitchen oven stopped working and they couldn't fix it!

Very nice, quiet hotel with good breakfast and very nice staff. If you want to spend a relaxing holiday, here is the perfect place. The only negative thing was that the cupboards have a musty smell and the bathrooms are a bit of a need for renovation.

Definitely not a five star hotel. Maintenance is needed in the rooms and their rooms on some tourist sites appear all with tub installed but this is not true, only some have it. The service is nice and friendly. And the spa is very good.

Queit hotel. No beach access orpool service. Rooms without windows so be careful when booking.

The service was really good! The rooms were okay. It's a five-starred hotel, but the interior is kind of old and the rooms is in need of an upgrade. Though they we're really big! The breakfast was OK, nothing extraordinary. The Wi-Fi was fast and worked as it should. I'm satisfied, but not blown away.

Very secluded and extremely quiet hotel in the Playacar. Not recommended for cultural travellers who are going to Coba, Tulum, Chichen Itza, Ek Balam in the morning and are only there to sleep in the evening. The hotel is simply too expensive or The price-performance is not right. There are more reasonable accommodations in Playa del Carmen. The hotel does not have much to offer for a full-day stay. The pool bar is not occupied and there are no evening programs. It's just quiet.
Surroundings: Playacar: The closed area of the better earners. A private plot joins the next one. A golf course extends from one end to the next. Very safe, because you only get into the area via checkpoints. Everywhere green and super cared. No parking on the streets – everyone has their own carport.
The hotel and the room: very secluded. At the end of a road. Without a car I recommend the hotel to anyone. After the second day, nobody wants to walk 20-25 minutes to the city centre. Unfortunately, you don't get around because you also want to eat something. A small supermarket is available 5 minutes away. He's got the bare necessities.
The reception is huge and is not overlooked. A pity that the atmosphere could not be transferred to the rooms. These are spacious but poorly arranged. Our room was under the reception so you had the feeling to stay in the basement even though you were on the ground floor.

This is a nice Hotel but when we went there was some flooding in the lobby due to the major rainstorms. It has a nice free breakfast which is great. The pool is a bit small.

It is a quiet place with ample parking. It is a very safe and private place, surrounded by golf courses part of the whole resort. One of the best locations in Playa del Carmen.

A great place for the service, the rooms and the breakfast. The only downside is that it moves a little bit but little of the center but nothing that a walk can not solve.

This resort spa and hotel is gorgeous and would absolutely recommend this place to my family and friends. Great get away, peaceful, good people, great food, spectacular waters. Very romantic city.

This hotel is located in a private neiborhood. Breakfast is really good and has many different options. Rooms are clean, however they did not clean our room one of the days we stayed there. So, we had to ask them to do it. Then, on the last night we stayed there a lady opened the service door in our room while we were sleeping (at around midnight). Luckily, my husband woke up and she shut the door quickly. We called the front desk and they basically said it was our fault for not locking up that door. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

Interesting hotel, it's an old 5 star hotel that bankrupt (I think) but the Eurostar is holding it's a float. It's in a good shape but need some cosmetic intervention in the rooms. The location is best if you are looking for a quiet place, all around you is a golf club with private property. It's 15 min walk to the beach and to the center of Playa. With a car and for someone looking for a quiet place it's 5star value for money.

I love it. Hotel is comfortable and affordable. It is located in a private area of Playa del Carmen. It's also close to La Quinta Ave. The complimentary breakfast is really good. Spa is a must to go. Overall good experience.

The room has a good and comfortable space but, they need to be renewed. Some of the furniture was dirty and look really old. The bathroom doesn't have too much light and the shower keeps throwing water outside the tub and there is not you can do about it. The outside looks really nice. The reception desk it very nice too but very often there is only one person try to deal with more them 4 task at the same time.

Everything was fine, the only thing outlets in room didn't work.

There we spent our honey Moon in 2011. It was a great experience, wonderful hotel with very good service and the tranquility needed for the moment.

Hotel rustic yet functional. A little away from playa del carmen activities but clean and comfortable. Very good value for money — profit. Excellent service at reception and a breakfast acceptable.
