After a month here, I went to Tulum for a week. Returning it feels like home. A little piece of paradise. Great staff that make you feel welcome.
the beach bar is so fab, it is a favourite with locals.

Loving your work is directly proportional to the service you give.
Those who can't serve can hardly reign.
Highly recommended only a little smiles and a pleasure to serve.
Your manager great person and warm in your communication.
Perfect facilities and very clean.

From the moment we arrived we were very welcomed by Sandra at the front desk. We found everyone super friendly and helpful. Thank you everyone at Hotel Colibrí for all the hard work you do! I can not wait to come back next year! The location is perfect! Right ON the beach and close to EVERYTHING! The atmosphere is great. Small, cozy, the grounds are surrounded by garden and tropical vibes. We stayed 5 nights in THE SUITE which by the way. WOW! breathtaking view! Dreamy! Until next time.

Very comfortable hotel with direct access to the beach and one block from the center, without a doubt a very good selection, very attentive and helpful staff.

The staff is friendly, the location is the best in town with beach front property, Lido Beach Club staff is GREAT… the downside overshadows all of this if you are going to Mexico for R&R because regardless of where your room is located inside the Colibri hotel, the noise from the neighboring bar/hotel is so overwhelmingly loud that you cannot sleep @ night. Booming music vibrates the room and makes it impossible even with earplugs. We changed rooms 2 times during our week stay and nothing made it better. If you are visiting for the night life/partying this is the absolute perfect place to stay.

Great location. Friendly service. Great pricing if booked online. On the downside: 1. No elevator 2. Take good sleeping earplugs with you because the "thump thump" of the nearby 4 dance clubs will shake the walls until the wee hours of the morning. 3. Beach towels are "free" provided of course a 200 MXN deposit is provided per towel. We just bought some cheapos from the local supermarket instead. That said, the AC works and the staff are friendly and mostly all understand English.

A stay very comfortable, the rooms very clean and comfortable, the place very cozy and the best thing is that this walk of beach.

The hotel is lovely during the day, the beach side bar and layout is great. At night the music from the clubs nearby is too overpowering and goes very late into the night. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and willing to help. The beds are not very comfortable and coupled with the loud music meant I did not have very restful time here.

Very noisy at night! The weekend vibrated the windows of the room, and mine facing the sea, is half a block from danceable venues. Rather hard beds. At night impossible to rest. A whole day I was out of hot water. Bad service at the Beach Club. The waiters treat you badly if you don't leave him a tip, very poor breakfast, and always cold coffee! They get mad if you say so! Very dirty beach. It's impossible to bathe there, brown water and seaweed rotting everywhere. I don't recommend it.

On vacation in Rivera Maya and took a shopping trip to 5th Ave. Didn't want to drive an hour back so we got a room here just walking by. What a Great find and location on the beach and near 5th avenue entertainment and shopping! Great prices for the rooms. Very limited parking but who cares when you can wake up on the beach!

Great location and a very clean hotel! Steps down to the beach and enjoy breakfast with a view. Take a walk to Quinta Avenida market and get the full Mexico carnival experience. Safe and secure.

COLIBRI HOTEL in Playa del Carmen A SCAM!. Show some beautiful pictures of the beach 3 years ago. 3 years ago that are invaded by algae and accumulate mountains of my height laying off a foul smell, besides, there is nothing left of the beach and the sea is very dirty and disheveled, in 9 days of stay we could not enjoy it not one, besides "SMART" is removed when one is having breakfast a few meters from there and the odor given off is unbearable. As if this weren't enough, the poor attention is your letter of presentation. The breakfast "CONTINENTAL" consisted of 2 slices of toast a butter in embase pequeñisimo melted and a jam of the same size, the choice between juice (chemical) or fruit (serving miserable) coffee, milk cold and nothing more. (CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST: it Is composed basically of pastries (brioches, croissants and others) accompanied by butter, jam and chocolate cream, and is served both with juice as with coffee, milk, chocolate or tea. It is also customary to include bread as well as slices of cured meats, cheeses and hard-boiled eggs, in addition to yogurt, cereals and fruit). As if all this were not enough the waiters will increpan if you don't leave them a tip!, we had a really bad time.

Great experience at Hotel Colibri! Friendly, helpful staff. Nice rooms with balconies. Right on the beach with Beach Club staff ready to serve you! Great free breakfast! I would stay here again!

A great beach front hotel and a superb price. Close to the hotshots.

The hotel itself is not bad, clean rooms regularly, quite clear, green area, but the problem with parking, terrible location T to a lot of clubs in the circle and music yells until 4am, a monotonous breakfast of choice only 3 dishes, but most importantly the autumn is very noisy! The beach is not parked, all the furniture and sunbeds were in March the sea is terrible, a bunch of algae that in the water do not go.

Big rooms this is the party zone of pdc. That means that you cant have a propper sleep till the f&$king bars closed at 4:30am.

Ideal location, excellent services, attention of the staff very satisfactory, they did that we didn't have desires of them.

The room was lovely clean but it had no table and just one chair… the hotel staff was very nice and very attentive. Its too close to the loud clubs at night you hear the bass till 5 am. The water was inconsistent. Sometimes only warm, hot and cold intermittently. The Wi-Fi was spotty. The breakfast was ehh. They always overcook the eggs. The beach was the worst I ever experienced in my life. Seaweed at low tide stunk. I don't know if I was smelling the seaweed or sewer. There were loads of rocks with seaweed growing on them. I went in once never to return.

I would not return, in front there is a den that has all the night to music with a volume of an exaggeration, don't you sleep for the noise and a dog doberman walking through the hotel, to intimidate you. The hotel is well only those details.

Reasonable price to stay in Playa del Carmen. The hotel has beach access, loud music till 5 am on nearby clubs. Friendly staff at Lido Club. Walking distance to popular 5th avenue. Balcony on most rooms, reasonably clean rooms. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is very small but clean, we can hear the next door neighbors, doesn't have a wide beach, breakfast very basic but tasty, perfect location for night clubs but not for the beach…

Adorably rustic. Perfect beach club, low key music, good food & drinks, friendly (if a little lackadaisical) service. My only complaints are that AC takes quite a while to cool down the room, and the bar closes at 7pm. Seriously, 7pm (as we come back from a sightseeing tour) is EXACTLY the time I want to put my toes in the sand and have a few drinks with some low key music.

The proximity to Fifth Avenue makes its location unbeatable, the attention of the receptionist Miriam magnificent, always solving my doubts.

This is without a doubt the best hotel I've ever stayed and we've been to a lot of countries. Staff is amazing and there's a smile on ever face I arrived with a broken ankle with complications during the flight. Had a physician at my door the very next day to take care of it Thanks to all the staff I wish I could take you home with me LOVE YOU ALL❤❤❤❤❤

All very well. Near the beach.

First time to playa del Carmen and I might say, this is my favorite hotel. Cozy and pleasant for location and size. On the beach so you can easily walk from ur room and have breakfast on the beach. Everyone there made you feel at home. Never steered you wrong on recommendations for activities and food. Overall great experience. Highly recommend!

It's a very nice hotel with many details. The breakfast is fresh and it's served at the beach. Unfortunately there is no pool but you can swim in the sea just right infront of the hotel.

Stayed here right after proposing to my fiancee. Staff was accommodating, professional, and friendly. The hotel is located directly on the beach and has a solid bar and restaurant as well. AC worked amazing in our room too, which was a definite plus.

Such an amazing place! Great beach-club to chill an relax the day away. Friendly staff have become friends over the many times staying here. Lau our server was the best server we had in Playa and always makes us feel so welcome! The suite offers amazing views and a beautiful terrace!

Very close to the beautiful sea. Just two blocks away. Of eats Rico and the rooms are comfortable.

Hotel location is great, beach / bar very relaxing. Hotel is clean and workers are friendly. Right off 5th Ave which is good and bad. Clubs are right at the end of the street. Some rooms you can hear the music till very late. Biggest problem is the bed. Not very comfortable.

Best price for the location We stayed in mid August Friday Saturday paid $88 a night total. Location AMAZING! ON THE BEACH right next to all the main clubs and hope spots. Rooms are clean and have ac and mini fridge. if you're like us and don't want the hotel to spend all day in bed in, this is the place for you. if you're on your honeymoon and want to spend all day in the bathtub and in the room this might not be the choice for you. Bars all around including the one on the beach. Chairs are available but each person has a minimum of 200pesos — $12usd order all day so it's like it's free… Great staff Carlos was great and so was everyone else :-)

You must visit Lido bar, it is awesome.
