Aldea Thai is a beautiful place and conveniently located if you want to party at Coralina Daylight Club, however, the people at Mistik have very bad customer service and attention to detail. We rented 2 Master Pools and at the time of reservation they said they would upgrade one to a Penthouse Platinum. Both units were acceptable, honestly the fridge could have been cleaner but very little amenities within each. Barely had enough plates, mugs, cups and cutlery for the people staying there, there is no dishwasher, they had no trash bags and one of our toilets was broken upon check in. When I reached out about the toilet they said that it wouldn't be fixed on time and that I couldn't ask for a discount because I was upgraded. The toilet was unusable for a day or two of our two night stay and finally got fixed. We had to raise hell to get trash bags. The people at the reception don't own the condos but they are still THE MOST UNHELPFUL PEOPLE EVER. Pool has a bar and the bartender is rarely there — getting ice takes her 2 hours. Also they won't clean the condos or even give you extra towels unless you're there for 5+ nights. There's also no washer or dryer inside the condo so your towels will be dirty. Our host Saul did the best he could but it's clear he has not been given the tools to properly take care of guests. I was very disappointed with the place over all — it was an acceptable place to sleep but would not go back and would not recommend to others.

Best location. It is secure and clean. Friendly staff. It also is peaceful and has most if the amenities.

Lousy service and lousy customer service/host. We were going at bachelorette party 5 women and the care of the 2 young people receive is terrible, zero helpful, with faces, we had to load a heavy box, ask for help and they responded to us negatively and in a bad way, which we did as we could, at the end of our stay, 2 days later we got a charge for cleaning of an armchair, a thing that I wanted to give you a reason, by sending a photo of a chair that is not even if is the of our room, I asked to speak with the manager or someone that could give me a solution and just gave me a long or the plane. The person I replied (dorian) just told me that in a few minutes more to communicate with me but it never happened, so I searched for more than 4 days and same that gave me the plane and never gave me a solution, just took the money from my account and not told me anything. I never would host here. Very bad experience. Don't do it.

Excellent place to vacation.

It is ok! Very close to the beach and next to Mamitas which is a land mark in Playa del Carmen.

If I could rate this place over 5 starts I would! Great place! Gorgeous room with incredible view of the beach. Close to 5th Avenue and all the shops. Ricardo made sure we were taken care of and decorated our room with beautiful rose petals. Definitely would recommend!

Beautiful condos… very busy area. Loud music partying and construction.

Nothing pleasant, the public beach very expensive for the service they offer… broken parasols. Old, worn, poor waiter care, they do not live to serve Americans, and discriminate against nationals… all for a dollar, Mexicans are accustomed to give 10% of the service… and lodging… bad, we offered a certain room, and it turns out Q had q Change the same one day because it would be busy. What's up, huh?

The location of Aldea Thai was second to none situated just over looking Kool beach club adjacent to Mamitas beach club and just off the hustling activity of 5th ave. The hotel staff were for the most part very friendly and accommodating and all of the front desk attendants spoke enough English or fluent in English as their second/third language. The grounds were well kept and clean, the pool was lovely. They had a swim up bar that I didn't take advantage of as it seemed to only be open durring the late morning and to sunset time before dinner of which I was always out and about. I stayed over the Christmas holiday and the hotel seemed fairly quiet there were a few Xmas eve parties, but nothing that was disruptive. I will note that since this hotel is a condo rental each unit is owned or managed by a different property manager. I booked my unit via Airbnb for unit 213 and had a wonderful host that was extremely responsive to all my needs. The unit was wonderful, clean, kept clean daily, drinking water and beach towels were provided, and everything worked wonderfully for me including the kitchen appliances, safe, hot water, blow dryer, A. C. TV, etc… there is always a taxi available and a bell hop waiting to assist to where you wish to go. They have free valet parking for your car or rental.

A secret Garden that hides a restaurant of interesting Mexican cuisine.
The place is divided into 2 parts, the first type bar or cantina and in the background a patio that houses the restaurant.
The letter is extensive and sometimes it's hard to decide because everything seems to be good. The chips that serve in the local are the best that we have been able to prove in the region.
As a featured dish, I loved the goat cheese stuffed chicken.
As a negative point, the patio lighting is so scarce that they even offer you a menu card that is illuminated by LEDs.

Beautiful place, the prices are good, except the wine list, very high. We ordered Chamorro pork and chicken with goat cheese and they were very tasty dishes. The attention was very good!

It is a clean hotel with many amenities and the most beautiful is the warning of the staff you feel at home.

Beautiful place. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is not the place for you.
Situated on the thoroughfare to the beach, it can be loud until early morning hours.
The week we were there, construction was going on daily around the pool, not a chance to rest and relax.
This is a very kid friendly place which is a plus for families and a minus for those that wish to go where there are no kids.

Fooled by the street view, go all way to the back and enter a beautiful jungle/garden atmosphere. We went for dinner. Food is fresh and good. Service was also very attentive and fast. Would go again.

This place has got so much going for it. Staff are very friendly and engaging, but this is practically a cool place to rest your worn out feet. Forget air-conditioning, here you will find yourself in forest like surroundings in the midst of this concrete jungle. No loud noisy music but the sound of a miniature waterfall. Oh, I highly recommend their Mexican coffee and Margarita.

Just great, I had a first-class deal, and the staff is efficient.

When arrive do a deposit of guarantee that when sales you put thousand pretexts for not return it, the cleaning not includes that wash them dishes or anything! BAD attention and service from check-in and cleaning staff.

Super comfortable, spacious, clean (pay your own cleaning), an excellent view, excellent location (this two blocks from Fifth Avenue And stuck to the sea) … safe return.

For $450 a night we got: * an air conditioner that didn't work for 2 out of 5 nights * a toilet that clogged twice (the second time, no one came to fix it, despite asking three times) * a leak in our bathroom that meant repairmen were in and out of our condo for 2 days * no functioning internet for the entirety of our stay We requested a partial refund and both the management company and the owner of the condo turned us down. So, so disappointed. Avoid.

Aldea Thai is a nice place to stay while in Playa Del Carmen but the staff at the front desk and the vallet/security employees are very rude. They do not allow guests to bring visitors into their rooms and they are very strict on this policy. I will not be staying here again.

Location was loud. The service was impeccable. The room was better then expected.

By the tradition that has this place I expected much better food, missing that last push, is good but commercial food.
