Review of Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun 4*

As you first walk into the hotel you’re in awe with all the fresh floral arrangements, cold towel and refreshing beverages (lemonade & hibiscus). You are then greeted with friendly faces and helpful staff! I walk into my very spacious room that overlooks the ocean and pool (what a dream). You have housekeeping and turn service everyday! Some of the fantastic amenities I used were the spa which is the largest spa in Latin America (a must try is the hydro therapy). The gym which greets you fresh fruit, coffee, tea, water at every station and scented cold towels all over looking the ocean! My 10 year old son had a blast at the kids club making pizza at the cooking class but if you want to do the kids club at night I recommend you scheduling that the day before. I booked 2 excursions with the kiosk inside with MARTIN who highly recommended going to XICHEN & Cenote Ik Kil and Tulum & Xel Ha both breath taking and unique in their own way (bring water shoes and a water proof cell phone holder). But lastly I want to say a huge thank you to LEONARDO and NICASIO DARWIN who made my family and I feel so welcomed, their kindness hospitality and helpfulness made me feel like family. Staff members like them made me want to go back to the delicious buffet every day and sit in the areas they were at just to converse. The 2 restaurants I ate inside were Isla Contoy which had delicious fresh seafood eating over the ocean, sad to say I forgot our waiters name but he recommended the dogfish which was out of this world (he’s from Veracruz where they eat this all the time). The last restaurant we ate at was La Joya, I had the chef’s special beef shank with mole tacos (easily enough for 2 people), this was another amazing experience with a live mariachi looks like cherry blossom trees covered in lights and best of all child care inside the restaurant! With all these amazing experiences I will be coming back and recommending everyone here. It’s not worth it going to an all inclusive place where you have low quality food and cheap alcohol!
