A very nice place, and very good attention from the hotel staff.
Luis Palma especially gave us a lot of attention and details in our stay.
A highly recommended and comfortable hotel.

Excellent attention from restaurant staff Alejandra, Armando, Zuly, Rafael, Lupe, very clean rooms, very good room service, support from reception staff, in short, all facilities swimming pools and excellent shows, our experience was very good, we were left with a very good taste in our mouths with invitation to return, thank you all very much.

Terrible what happens in this place. Staying in this place I asked for the favor in reception of hordes a package containing clothes and others worth more than $ 2500 because it needed to be delivered, the same people at reception said that there was no problem and that they would take care of him. For a week they tried to pick up the package and for various reasons they did not want to deliver it, they said that the information was not enough to verify that it was the recipient and so on. To this day that the package simply disappeared? And absolutely no one is responsible! 😡

I went a few months ago, the customer service is the worst there was one who served the drinks one pelon and it was super sangron we even have videos where he fought with tourists for rude, those of the main restaurant equally very sangrones the only nice staff was animation, also in the pool area just and the sun went in and never turned on the light there was no where, Peeeesimo service we took a group of 15 rooms but the truth we never come back they made us look very bad.

From what I read it is lucky that you are treated well in this hotel. I was one of those who did not have the best experience. It is noticeable that they do not train their staff enough or pay them very little that they do not do their job with pleasure. Those who are in reception very bad service. Very slow entry and comments out of place.
The rest of the staff and services acceptable without being spectacular. I wouldn't be back.

The truth I would not return to Cancun bay resort a little expensive in my opinion the service not so good the room that touched me did not serve the lights the truth I would not recommend it.

Terrible service. The one at the door called Rafael super rude and disrespectful. The front desk, and coffeemakers in the restaurant treat super bad. Nothing recommended…

Staff are excellent! They are super nice receptionist and maids. Rooms were nice and clean. Food is horrible! Buffet for me is to choose what we want to eat. We stayed for a week and every day it was the same breakfast. All you can eat yes, but, all you can eat of the same food.

Excellent hotel, they showed off at the contingency of the delta hurricane I will definitely come back.

The best hotel in Cancun since visited other 5 star Cancun hotels and the treatment is very different because they give preference to foreigners, and in this hotel all people are very friendly.

Excellent hotel may not be a 5 star, but the service of this hotel is great, there is no way to say that there is something wrong are amazing all the staff I think if I come back would be there closed eye I congratulate.

If I recommend it has comfortable rooms with sea view your excellent food from start to finish excellent service.

The staff is amazing and very accommodating! Eme is the BEST! Enjoyed the staff keeping the kids involved and entertained. But… the buffet was an absolute nightmare for me. We left on a Saturday and I stopped eating on Thursday. But again, very family oriented. Also. I wished the hot tub at the swim up bar was actually hot.

The resort was absolutely beautiful! Rooms were clean, drinks were great, hospitality was fantastic! Thank you Eme, Raul, Liz, Diego, Angel, Aaron! Antonio, and Javier for a wonderful experience!

They must have more people like them, completely grateful for the wonderful service in general. Everything was perfect except for a man at the door called Marcos. At first look the hotel is very beautiful. The entire resort is not as big as resorts I'm used to but for what Cancun Bay lacks in size it makes up for in intricate interior design. I did enjoy greatly all of the little details wherever you look. The room I stayed was beautiful and had a wonderful view of the ocean. The hotel is pleasant on the eyes and this atmosphere of peace. However there were some issues. I would say my main two complaints are that the quality of the drinks varied way too much per drink. Some were amazing, some drinks were trash. My other complaint is that the hotel close by 11 pm… 11 pm? Like no food, no drinks, no nothing but darkness. It was quite funny that by midnight they always turn off all of the lights. Overall it was a positive experience. I would rate the resort a 3.5. Its a good place for first timers to Mexico but I wouldn't recommend this place if you have been to Mexico before.

The hotel is very good, there is value for money. The firm is very strong every day, like the drinks bar, the food very well.
The staff is very attentive and friendly, any questions you have solve it without problem.
The kids of excellent animation, have very enjoyable and fun activities. Activities in the lobby are available daily at 9pm.

Very nice hotel with good cleaning rooms, very good food during the day, nice swimming pool with jacuzzi and bar on near by. During the day different kind of animation from volleyball to dance courses. Only what is bad was it's only — Wi-Fi which you need come all the time and seat on hall not in room. Also the beach for swimming not that good, all the time we was going to different beaches around.

The worst living experience, I do not recommend it at all, I almost a year planning my vacation and did not have my room. Horrible my experience.

The entertainment staff, truly wonderful people, Erick, Angel, Abraham, and even Cynthia who is training, all of them are so friendly, they instantly engaged us, specifically my children, (21, 20, and 15). By the end of the week we were all doing activities and really got to know everyone, we cannot wait to go back, we had such a great time. The people who knock the food, it isn’t always the best, but we were able to find something to eat every day, some meals were better than others but it was fine.

My family and I are having an amazing experience! The front desk is very helpful and willing to help, food was really good, our house keeper, Tomasa, is absolutely wonderful. She keeps my room spotless even though we are traveling with a small children she was able to maintain our room very clean! Overall I definitely recommend this hotel, it’s very family oriented!

This resort was small and quaint. Nothing fancy but we enjoyed our stay and prefer it to be on a smaller scale. If you are looking for something nice and grand, this isn't your hotel. But, it was very clean and charming. Our room was clean and roomy, and I liked the fact that the hotel was somewhat partially outdoor and not all enclosed — it gave it a more tropical/open feel. The staff were extremely friend, especially Zuli/Zuly Jorge and Daniel… thank you guys so much. There was entertainment every night we were there and we enjoyed it. My only complaint was the food and alcohol. Drinks were very watered down and food was okay and lacks variety. Other than food and drinks we really enjoyed our stay here.

The resort itself was fine. Probably more like 3 star but the food makes it 2 or 3. Not that it was bad they just don't have much of a variety and it was the same thing almost every day. For an all inclusive resort they need more choices on the menu. Drinks… Don't expect to get drunk or even buzzed off their drinks. Even after some heavy tipping drinks weren't very good.

Good food, clean place, nice people.

The room was clean the A. C. Cold the staff friendly and most spoke English. The food was basic buffet fare but very flavorful. Sushi bar was good but not traditional sushi. Very close to the OXXO and bus stop. Pool and bar hours kinda suck (bar opens at 11am & pool bar closes at 6pm? Pools close at 8pm? ) Over all very pleased with Cancun Bay for the price value and service.

Cancun Bay Resort it is a nice place to stay if you have a limited budget. I am not saying it is a cheap place, no. Cancun Bay has a great cost benefit. The location is fantastic, close to the center and also close to the Coco Bongo and other party places. The room are simple but cozy. The service is great. The food is nice. Non stop drinking. You will be respect and well treated, specially by Willy and Luis.

The hotel has DayPass that includes the use of the facilities and towel.
The facilities are fine.
The buffet is varied and the food tasty.
They have all kinds of activities to keep guests entertained…
The staff is nice.
The beach is small but clean and with chairs and hammocks for sunbathing.

Since you arrive, everyone is attentive to the guests. The food varied and rich. Comfortable facilities, wonderful view and we had excellent days. Highly recommended!

Excellent Hotel, we see that they are investing well in the re-structuring of its facilities, the restaurant is excellent, their food and their design, the Lobby is spectacular! … the only thing to improve is that they focus on keeping the beach a little cleaner.

Everything is great in this hotel: food, service, rooms and so on. But there is a large but there is no beach for bathing, or rather there is but the entrance to the sea is very strange. You just suck the incomprehensible silt and the water around becomes muddy. We were unable to enter the water. Went to swim to the nearby beaches.

I am not putting 5 stars because its a luxurious place but because all the (Condos) have ocean view rooms, they have a big pool, restaurant, laundry room. The rooms have a mini refrigerator, kitchen sink plates and cups. This place its advertised as a hotel but they are actually condominiums and the name that it goes by is Plaza Cancun if you go there tell the bus or taxi driver your are going there and they will know where to take you don't use BSEA. I recommend this place.

The hotel has a comfortable and complete service compared to the payment made by the reservation. The hotel underwent great changes, this due to the great investment. Facilities and rooms were updated. The centers and the quality of the food were improved. The hotel has beach and is in the first section of the Hotel zone. Nearby you have shopping malls and the city center. It only takes 8 minutes to get to the clubs. The only detail is the bathroom that is in the reception area, not comfortable. However this does not harm the major changes made.

In general very well almost all of the staff very friendly and attentive and is also very quiet, lousy your animator in the pool q is the same of the nights is the worst person q I've seen q work in a position as that in which the joke is to entertain, amuse and make everyone feel included, with the addition discomforting to foreign girls q obviously don't understand anything seriously that is pecimo, apart from that all excellent, very spacious room, with the basics necessary, the bad thing is q if you want beach you have q scroll q pier q is there because it is not a big deal, but if the purpose is to take a rest go with a all-inclusive and spread out in the sun this is an excellent option… I Believe q if I'll be back.

Nothing short of amazing! We honestly didn't want to leave the staff, location, rooms, food etc A+ all inclusive def worth it my 26 BIRTHDAY couldn't have been better spend 5 days.

Terrible! The drinks. They ALL taste like they were sweetened with Splenda. The food is bad and DON'T let them trick you, IT DOES NOT HAVE A BEACH AREA I will definitely never come back.

It's ok, for the price. Smells like smoke. The food is ok. The location is great and facility is pretty cool. Needs some update.

Stayed there for ONE night! And not by choice either. Let me first say… will not be coming back. The food was horrible (some sort of Asian and seafood stuff), the breakfast was even horrible (who can mess up eggs? ). The rooms were small and had huge cracks from under the door so bugs crawl in! Cockroach in bathroom. Not a good selection of beer. No lotion in the rooms. The beach was small and had a small swim area that is right around large boats. So you are swimming in oil and gas. Make sure if you have children … keep them from walking down the beach towards the next hotel (topless women in the water and on the beach). On a positive… the staff was friendly.

I found myself in this resort because of a cancellation of Tui fly. Saw eye it looks good but when you stay there is less. The place is clean and the staff friendly but the food is infected! Nothing is fresh, nothing tastes… it is clear that the savings are made on one of the most important thing when we receive people…
Fortunately I did not pay my stay because I would have yelled at the scandal… When we consider that the most economical room costs $200… the least of the things is to offer fresh and cooked products!

It was not the best experience to be at this resort I was supposed to stay 3 nights just stay one. In my room there was no water I ordered a bottle to make the milk to my baby and I refused.
They are under construction until late at night and then start early Otrava there is no entertainment or anything to do there for the kids the Super Honda pool.
In conclusion not advisable at all.

The only bad thing is that the beach is very small! The rest is great except for the jacuzzi that gets people with shorts and playera time after so much bubbles is made a cream of dirt that gives a bit of disgust! Also that's why they let them be eating inside the same Jacuzzi eye at that hotel.

The place is very quiet the rooms in excellent condition very clean the food and everything is excellent the pools with a good mood! The only thing that is bad is the jacuzzi as they let people in with clothes and after half an hour of so much bubble in the you start to make a cream of filth! So eye on that! Also if the sea had more room to be able to swim it would be excellent as there is no big space to be in the sea! We had to walk to another beach to be able to swim in August! From there on out everything is excellent.

Currently staying at this resort and I would 10/10 recommend! Everything is clean, the food is amazing and the staff is top notch. I noticed reviews complaining of the old rooms etc but as of now the entire place has been redone. They are currently adding a bar next to their lobby pool that is looking amazing. It is cheap and 5 star quality. The beach is small but the location makes up for it, resort beaches are overrated anyways! Totally go here!

Hotel recently remodeled. Great location if you desire to be steps away from downtown, and still on the strip. Beach is not as superb as the main strip. Next door to the Temptation (adult only hotel), so watch out for those nude people on the beach…

Excellent place for relaxation, the restaurant and its buffet are very good just as the service of the waiters is excellent.
I only put an 8 for the following: The bathrooms at the entrance are very finished and careless.
The beach is not as clean as in other parts of the hotel zone.
It would be nice if the pool bar closed later. (Closes at 6 PM when the party is scarce)

Eats well sleeps well, very good attention, very good clean nice the 2 pools are the only thing I don't like is the beach of the hotel.

Their customers service is great my mom is disabled and the Staff made everything to make her feel at home. The one thing Wi-Fi is only available at the Lobby area not the rooms which I don't mind but others may?

They should improve their drinks as they are very sweet, simple, and does not have good flavor. In addition the beach is sloppy, there was a lot of seaweed, we had to walk to find a more pleasant place to swim. Finally the music of the beach was based primarily on reggaeton and merengue a little musical repertoire, and of yesteryear. Good attention by staff. Although it does not come back to stay there.

We spent a week in Cancun bay resort and it was not a good experience. The room we stayed in was worst then motel 6. Its' furniture are very old, draws are old and sticky can't even put our cloths in. Free Wi-Fi yes, in the open lobby where you feed the mosquitoes. They recycle their cheap plastic cups and plastic shot tubs by raising with sink water and some cups you can still see lips stick on them. The pool and hot pool by the bar is nasty, the water is milky color. The pool by the lobby is clean but lots of kids. There is beach access but can't swim in. It a dock for sail boats for the island tour. The water is full of vegetation growing. You can only walk in the water about 15 feet. Don't waste your money on this place.

Didn't stay here, however was able to use the pool area, and toilets during scuba diving training. From what I experienced, the all inclusive resort was top notch. Would consider staying here in the future if I'm ever back in Cancun. Toilets facilities were the cleanest I have ever had the pleasure of using.

I really liked the food. Some Brown reception are intolerant (men). The most excellent guard treatment. Did a day cleaning the other very well.

Shower was really bad and steps to lower beds are dangerous, painted black, hard to see where steps are beginning. I fell because I missed one step and bruised myself pretty bad, plus damaged my glasses.

I agree with the other opinions, best thing about the hotel is its food, and the friendliness of its staff, my compliments to the chef, both in law firm, as the letter always looks. Excellent quality/price ratio, above all in package with plane. We passed it very well, and with taste we will return the next time. True, I could never get the Wi-Fi, but for me it was the least of it.

Disgusting! donot stay in this hotel. Do not waste your money. Blood in the sheets. There are much better hotels for the price within the hotel zone. The staff is delightful and truly the best part of the hotel, with the exception of the cleaning staff. The hotel rooms are disgusting. I stayed there with my boyfriend for four nights, and can not begin to describe to you what a nightmare it was. The first night, I discovered blood, on the sheets. The bed was completely falling apart does not have a frame, its simply a ply wood box with raw wood that has plenty of splinters. The bathroom has a large hole in the center of the sloping floor with brown liquid oozing from it. Above the rooms exterior door, is a huge hole that shows the hotels interior pipes and framework and huge piles of grime and dust. Not only did I feel unsafe in this hotel, I felt ripped off. Please do not waste your money and stay here.

Good service but facilities a bit old and weathered and does not have Wi-Fi.

Pro's : just one, big suite looking room. Con's : 1. I don't know how they got review rate of 4.1/5? This is 3 at best. 2. Lacks coffee maker, microwave and little frig. They say they may be found in suite only, which are handful, the rest are regular rooms. 3. Interior there are hazardous areas. For instance the kitchenette counter had a cardboard cutout piece of wood which gave way when I lined on it and almost swallowed my arm and cut it! 4. Everything is either glued or nailed to the floor. At least it's herrucain proof. Except chairs everything is fixed! 5. All few fluorescent light, so room is rather dim and low light. 6. No tubs, shower by the window has unfinished tile work! 7. As you see on attached photo the beds are fixed. Meaning they cannot be rearranged! 8. Value should not be more than 60.00 per night. Defenitly not 85.00 plus fees. 9. Beach is attached to a mini harbor in that the cruise boats are loading and unloading next to it! And the way is angled or situated, there was no wave and kids were not too happy about that. So everyday kids drag me to other hotels, such as Westin laguna resort to play… 10. The lobby' door always open and mosquitoes having a lots of fun with you!

It is a place mega super relaxed its excellent cuisine and attention of the best and desir of their rooms to time is a luxury that rich rests congratulations to your manager a beautiful person thank you for your hospitality.

Ok place to stay if you're just needing a place to sleep. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and it is affordable, but that's about it. When they say the Internet is available in the lobby, they mean it. The signal is quite weak even in the lobby, but take one step (no exaggeration) out of the lobby, and the signal is gone. It is also an open air lobby, so it is extremely uncomfortable to stay down there more than a few minutes. We did the all-inclusive option, as there is nowhere closer than a 30 — 45 minute bus ride to eat. The food was so-so with a lot of re-runs. My wife did get sick after several meals there, so we finally started taking the bus to the restaurants. The plumbing was extremely temperamental. Barely a trickle in the shower which had no hot water at all, and multiple flushes of the toilet, and that didn't even work sometimes and we had to call maintenance to take care of it. Since we did a lot of shopping and tours (the on-site travel agent is a great guy! ), we really weren't here much. Overall, as I mentioned, good place to stay if you just need a bed and pillow.
