Hotel is great, cozy, right in the middle of Downtown Oaxaca. Decor is very thoughtful and tasteful. Staff is great, helpful.

What you pay for is the location. The rooms are somewhat neglected and the bathrooms very small and uncomfortable.

I would never return to that place although it is very nice the place excellent service of the staff but on the part of the managers are abusive they charge you antler what they do not become a few things and that is why I do not recommend it.

Parking 4 blocks away. Nice hotel, except for the rooms, these (large almost all of them) lousy decorated, the bathroom of my great-grandparents was more modern. Breakfast included. Excellent service.

Over the years, this hotel has turned into my go to. The breakfast selection is medium, but very tasty. The staff are extremely friendly and honest — I've never had anything stolen or damaged here, and I've left some valuable things out in the open by accident. Any complaint I've ever had with the rooms is quickly answered. The shower's water can be piping hot or ice cold — you choose. The rooms are very clean and spacious. My only remaining problem is the internet speed — something most if not all hotels in that specific area struggle with. Even then, the internet is not as bad as some others close to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel, for couples, single clients and even families of all ages.

Excellent value for money. Excellent Location And It is one of the few times we have had that ALL the staff is EXCELLENT. Bicycles and parasols are Provided if required, The rooms have minisplit and fan. Obviously has areas of opportunity (parking is something far away, our room came in little daylight) but again, so we paid we are very very satisfied. If we go back to Oaxaca, we definitely come back here.

The rooms are well arranged and they look nice, but being a somewhat old but renovated building, it does not stop having some flaws proper to an old building. However the location was exceptional.

The best is its hubicacion, the Super personalized service, the rooms very clean and comfortable, the only cons is that your parking is 4 blocks from the hotel and do not have valet parking.

Casona Oaxaca Hotel is located in the historic center of the city of Oaxaca, declared UNESCO World Heritage Centre and, it's just one block from the Zocalo; has tour service, restaurant with breakfast buffet, free Wi-Fi and a patio.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. Overall very recommended.

Very disappointed with this place! Would give zero Stars if I could. Made a hotel reservation months in advance. Take a taxi all the way therefrom the air port with my family of 6 luggage. They did not have our reservation. They tell us that they cancelled it without ever notifying us. Be careful!

It only lacks to have a parking lot closer but they have agreement with one to three blocks.

It's ok if you need it for one or two nights. Location is good. Stuff is wonderful and very helpful.

Clean rooms w/ A/C, friendly and very helpful staff, free water in the patio and laundry service provided. The hotel does have an cooperation with a gym which can be used free of charge. Only real CON would be the thin walls. Noise from other guests / staff especially during breakfast can be heard in the rooms (1st floor).

Pros: The hotel is located in downtown Oaxaca close to museums, churches, restaurants, and shops. It is clean and bedrooms are comfortable. The staff are among the nicest people we have met in Oaxaca, always friendly and willing to help. Cons: there is a lot of noise inside the hotel, they have music all day long and turn it off late at night. It is also easy to hear other guests at the main patio chatting outloud or moving chairs around. One can also hear pans and other dishes from the kitchen in the mornings, but if you bring your earplugs you will be fine!

Great location, but that's about it. The rooms are noisy, either from the street, the hotel's kitchen or the ongoing construction work (from 8am to 7pm) so this is not the place to relax. The paid breakfast is OK but the same every day, so after 3 days you'll be looking for other options. The Internet has to be the slowest in Mexico, so forget about working here. The rooms are big but the showers need an urgent upgrade. Booking prices fluctuate a lot, from $35 USD to $70 USD. If you score the cheaper rate, stay, otherwise go somewhere else.

Central, one block from the zocalo, everything is near, the markets for food and crafts, the attention of the front desk is second to none, give tips of where to eat and visit, offer tours, the hotel is very clean, they have breakfast buffet, valet parking if you get in your car. Definitely a great hotel for vacation, the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and cable. There are promotions and have details on long stays.

I really did like this place. Everything seemed nice and clean. Cable TV, shower, fan, windows, good service. Except both times I stayed there I and my son got a lot of bug bites. Both times I was there! It deffently was not mosquito bites, they were fleas. That was my only disapointment. Other than that everything is close by.

The hotel is central, clean and a very good price. The breakfast law firm is terrific, varied and very economical $85.00 pesos, I recommend it widely.

Visit Oaxaca December 2013, and after the bad experience with Hotel Monte Alban where I do not respect my reservation, The administrators of the Hotel France that is now called The House of two courtyards, they were very friendly and we were booked 10 days that we had planned to visit Oaxaca, The Hotel located in very Good location, close to the Zocalo and the Market. The Buffet is very well varied and delicious! The rooms are quite spacious and clean. But above all the attention of the staff is excellent. I recommend this hotel also because their prices are very reasonable.

My Potatoes were comfortable, the buffet is also good. Have good attention to it.
